The Nizams
India became independent from the United Kingdom in 1947. The Nizams retained power over Hyderabad State until September 1948 when it was integrated into the Indian Union. The Muslim Nizam of Hyderabad wanted to retain his independence from India, he was forced accede his kingdom to India in 1948 as the Hyderabad State. When India became independent, the Telugu-speaking people (although Urdu is spoken in some parts of Hyderabad and in few other districts of Telangana) were distributed in about 22 districts, 9 of them in the Nizam's Dominions(Hyderabad state)

Stunning jewellery collection of Nizam of Hyderabad
Fabulous jewels of the Nizam of Hyderabad including the legendary Imperial (Jacob) diamond. In 1972 the prize jewels of the Nizams of Hyderabad were offered for sale to the Government of India for Rupees 218 crore. The deal was struck. However, it took almost 23 years to finally acquire the jewels, after prolonged court cases and colossal expenses. First, the jewels were shifted to the vaults of the Reserve Bank of India from the Hongkong Bank where they were being held earlier. Later, the jewellery was exhibited for the first time at the National Museum in New Delhi for about two months during September - December, 2001. The 173 piece collection was built up over seven generations of the Asaf Jahis or the Nizams as the rulers of Hyderabad were called. Although the Nizams ruled over the Deccan, they had adopted the lifestyle, court traditions and administrative practices of the Mughals. The jewellery, therefore, is a synthesis of Mughal, deccani, as well as European influences. It reflects the ethos of a dynasty that originated in the Mughal court, ruled the Deccan and was a staunch ally of the British empire. It was during the seventh and the last Nizams -Mir Osman Ali Khan- time that care was taken to preserve the timeless treasure. It was difficult for the Nizams, who had a large family and a retinue of servants, to take care of their own. It was then that Mir Osman Ali Khan, with a view to safeguarding this fabulous wealth, started liquidating a portion of his ...

Deccan/Hyderabad ki azaadi (Nizam-Independence)
As you can see everything in Hyderabad its history its culture its peoples living style all is coming from Islam and muslims. Yet India is trying to hide and destroy this same culture and identity which is the identity of Hyderabad. Hyderabad was always ruled by the Nizam and all buildings tourist attractions and historical sites are either from Mughals or from Nizam. That was all until India forcefullly came and stole the region from the Muslims through several means including coersion and forcing the last Nizam. After they took over they killed 400000 Hyderabadi muslims and brought hindu fanatics (RSS etc) to keep us weak and reduced the muslim population of Hyderabad systematically and slowly with their help. Other muslims who could not stand against India fled to Pakistan abandoning their homes and livelihoods which were destroyed by India. What we have to understand is that all sikh muslim or christian we are all the victoms of hindus terrorists and we must stand together and work together to tell the world this So whether you are a Sikh Muslim or Christian or poor dalit or Hindu who is sick of the Hindu terrorists then please suscribe here. Kashmir Hyderabad Assam Manipur Khalistan all are similar causes and the reasons we all want independence is very much the same. This is why we must unite and face India together. Also visit this interview and articles of Dr. Abdul Ruff Colachal who is a great person from Hyderabad and exposes terrorist Indias attitude to Muslims ...

Purani Haveli Palace (Hyderabad, India)
Purani Haveli Palace in Hyderabad, India, was the official residence of the Nizam of Hyderabad (princely ruler). It was also known as Haveli Khadeem, which means old mansion, was constructed for Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III (1803-1829) by his father Ali Khan Bahadur, Asaf Jah II. The Haveli is "U" shaped in plan, with two oblong wings running parallel to each other and the residential palace located perpendicularly in the middle. The main building resembles 18th-century European palaces. A unique feature of this palace is the world's longest wardrobe, built in two levels with a hand-cranked wooden lift(elevator) in place. This occupies the entire length of one wing of the palace. The palace now houses the Nizam's Museum, which is dedicated to the last ruling Nizam of Hyderabad state (Nizam VII), as well as the Mukarram Jah College (named after the present Nizam). ** RARE interviews with 8th Nizam of Hyderabad - cvxmelody.50webs.com
