Sodium and Water in a 40 gallon trash can
www.youtube.com Sodium and water mix violently and boom in trash can. We added mass to the Na because it typically floats. Na does a do-se-do with water and yields NaOH. The free Hydrogen ignites in the exothermic reaction's heat. Definitely worth donating my trash can to science.

This is one way sodium metal can be isolated using NaOH and Mg. Mg has a strong enough desire for oxygen to tear it from the NaOH, leaving ingots of elemental sodium behind. 2Mg + 2NaOH = 2MgO + 2Na + H2 Thanks to NurdRage for the equation. www.youtube.com

Sodium Bicarbonate and Cancer Treatment - Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD
I recommend people contemplating using sodium bicarbonate orally read Sodium Bicarbonate Rich Mans Poor Mans Cancer Treatment. People around the world are waking up to the fact that sodium bicarbonate belongs in every protocol for cancer. Robert J. Gillies and his colleagues have demonstrated that pre-treatment of mice with sodium bicarbonate results in the alkalinization of the area around tumors. (Raghunand 2003) This type of treatment has been found to enhance the anti-tumor activity of other anticancer drugs. sodiumbicarbonate.imva.info

Hot Ice (HD) Crystals (Sodium Acetate)
Super saturated solution of sodium acetate crystallising before your eyes. A seed (of crystals) is required to start the process of crystallisation. The process of crystallization is exothermic: the cool solution becomes warm as the crystals form. This is used in heat-packs that medics carry. Sometimes also called "Hot Ice"

Make Sodium Acetate "Hot Ice" with vinegar and baking soda (pt1)
This video is now obsolete, we have a MUCH better one at: www.youtube.com How to Make "Hot Ice" Sodium Acetate with vinegar and baking soda With just two simple ingredients you can make sodium acetate! FOREWARNING: This reaction pretty hard to get exactly right, don't be discouraged if it fails the first time. Thoroughly read the comments and this description to avoid problems. Finally, if it still doesn't work, message me and i'll try to help. Just get 1 liter of clear vinegar and add in 4 to 5 table spoons of baking soda. Then boil the mixture down to 100mL to 150mL. A more accurate way of finding how much you need to boil can be found in our latest video: www.youtube.com It should still smell like vinegar. If it does not, add an equal amount of vinegar and boil it back down. Smelling again for the vinegar. Keep adding and boiling until it does smell like vinegar. Put it into a jar while it is still hot and cover it. Let it cool down to room temperature and then you can do all those "hot ice" vids you see! If it turns yellow or brown, that's ok. But don't boil it too far or it will burn. If you have a weigh scale, its MUCH better to accurately weigh your baking soda depending on the percentage of vinegar. Use the following masses per 1 liter of vinegar: 4% vinegar use 56g of baking soda 5% vinegar use 70g of baking soda 6% vinegar use 84g of baking soda 7% vinegar use 98g of baking soda 8% vinegar use 112g of baking soda Gram scales are very easy to buy online and on ...

Dublin's People: Canon 7d 24p
Filmed at the end of the 2 day F-Stop Academy Cinematography workshop in Dublin when we were in wind down mode. Shot on a pre-production Canon 7d.
I took the Canon 7d, Zacuto Tactical rig, Z-Finder V2 and one lone lens, a Canon 35mm f1.4, which becomes more like a 50mm lens on the 7d. So a bit like what I did with Sofia's People (but I didn't have the Zacuto rig for that).
I shot 1/50th of a second as I was shooting 24p and to match the 50hz frequency of the artificial all around me in Temple Bar.
I also shot some stuff 720p 50p with shutter at 1/100th to get the slow motion shots of the juggler which were conformed to 23.98p in Cinema tools to create the beautiful slow motion.
Sound on the last bit was just the internal mono cam mic as I didn't want a big mic on top of the camera.
Big thanks To Darragh and Emma for organizing the workshop. To all the people attended and especially the people who came to the intensive 1 day Cinematography practical workshop on Sunday. Jala (from Germany), Cathal (from N. Ireland) and Jean-Jacques (from France) stayed on another night and joined me for the night shooting. We had a great time. You may also spot my partner in crime Den Lennie a couple of times here.
Music is appropriately by the great THIN LIZZY and is of course Whiskey In The Jar.
Minor colour balance grading was done. That's all to take out the yellow of the sodium lights.
Smoking may look cool on camera kids but it's bad for you! The reason so many smokers in this? All the smokers are outside, all the non smokers are inside due to smoking ban. I hope you notice the one in my mouth was not lit! :-)

Remember Lot's Wife and Let Go the Salt!
JOURNEY 2010: LIVING THE WILL OF GOD: LET GO THE SALT
Journey 2010 is about living in the will of God. It is about what John said in 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
Now God's Will, God's truth will always be corrupted and thwarted by unrighteousness "Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."
END TIMES
This morning I will reveal to you the single greatest motivation we as Christians have for walking in the truth. This revealing involves "end times" teachings. Now most of us are very curious about the "end times". Most of you responded that something you would like to know more about is the Book of Revelations.
Let me give you this about that. Curiosity is not the proper reason to study Revelations. Jesus gives us the proper reason to study the Word or Revelations: "Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." If your study is motivated by your personal hunger and desire for righteousness, God will satisfy you, He will teach you. But if you are only motivated by curiosity or the pride of 'knowing', you will come away not knowing, not being satisfied.
Now as I teach this morning, you may question some of my suggestions as not being in line with what you believe is correct, especially among Southern Baptists. But allow me to clarify: The Southern Baptist Faith and Message is extremely vague about the end time teaching in the Bible. Here is what our official church belief is about the end times according to the Southern Baptist Faith and Message:
X. Last Things
God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, the place of everlasting punishment. The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord. (2000 Baptist Faith & Message)
So if I get in trouble, it will not be from teaching something contrary to Southern Baptist beliefs. It will be simply because I am teaching something that is contrary to what you have been taught. But let me advise you. My belief's change only when I look at God's Word and study what it says and don't depend on others to tell me what to believe. The truth must be within you and it must be based upon what you have studied and struggled with. Don't accept at face value what I say or what others say. Study to show yourself approved - dokimos unto God, a workman who is not ashamed, but who rightly divides the truth! We'll see why that is so important.
OUR MOTIVATION
What Is This Single Greatest Motivation For Walking In Truth And Following God's Will?
1 John 3:1-3 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
JOHN SAYS THAT THE TRUTH OF CHRIST'S 2ND COMING AND OUR CHANGE INTO HIS GLORIOUS BODY IS THE HOPE THAT PURIFIES US.
1 Peter 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
So this truth of our FUTURE transformation when we are face to face with Jesus Christ is to motivate us in the PRESENT to obey His truth and in so doing become PURIFIED or CONSECRATED (agnízō - in 1 John 3:3) to God, which is what living in His Will and walking in His truth is all about.
I have read that in certain countries, hunters capture monkeys using a very simple but effective trap. They make a hole in a hollow tree and put a banana in it. The hole is big enough for the monkey’s hand to go in but not for its fist to come out. A monkey would then reach in and grab the banana. It then tries to pull its hand out while grabbing on to the banana to no avail. Its closed fist would be too big for the hole. For the monkey to be able to pull its hand out it has to drop the banana. But hunters are well aware that monkeys will not let go of the banana and that the monkeys will kick and squeal when the hunter approaches but they refuse to let go of the banana. They refuse to let go of the bait and so become captured.
LET GO
This morning I want each of us to "let go". If we are to Live in the Will of God, we must "LET GO"
Jesus was approached by a young man who wanted to know:
(The Message) Matthew 19:16-22 Another day, a man stopped Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" Jes

Solvation - a molecular-dynamic process. Enveloping the
active substance molecules of fat.
CH3 (CH2) 14COOH - a key component of milk fat, palmitic acid
C12H25SO4Na - detergent (sodium dodecyl sulfate)
This presentation is completely live. An artist adds various reagents in small portions to a chemical process to the fluid phase floating on the surface of a liquid. Thus, the color, shape, and texture of the fluid components are dynamically changed and create artistic
abstraction. The process, transmitted through the web-camera, generates sound by given algorithm. The interaction of chemical components and milk creates a process of fractal nature. Solvation - enveloping the activesubstance of fat molecules in milk. Each process takes several minutes. A computer program captures the dynamics of the situation and creates LIQUID~DO
"LIQUID~DO" may be associated with LIBIDO in the context of energy deliberation from a liquid substance, the chemical process. The energy is interpreted by the sound. The potential of the liquid is represented by the
sound. If in a human it is "sexual potential", then in a liquid it is different. We are interested in the nature of self-organization, both visual and audible, and the way these two areas interact with each other in a liquid system.

Cancer Cure Sodium Bicarbonate 1/3
The figures are fantastic. Some eight million people die every year from cancer worldwide, more than half a million in the United States alone. The global number is predicted to rise to twelve million by 2030. Cancer is the biggest cause of death for people under 85 and in the US one in four people die from cancer - one in four. We have our freedoms removed by the day to 'protect the public from terrorism' when all these people are suffering and dying every year from a disease that the bloodline families and their pharmaceutical cartel systematically refuse to cure. Together we can, yes, but not if the drug companies are involved. Immense amounts of money are raised through charities every year to fund the search for a 'cure' that the establishment has no intention of finding. I highlighted in a newsletter on August 9th how a man called Dr Richard Day, the head of the Rockefeller-controlled eugenics organisation, Planned Parenthood, had addressed a meeting of doctors in Pittsburgh in 1969 about the coming transformation of global society. He asked the doctors to turn off recording equipment and not to take notes before he detailed a long list of changes that were planned. One doctor did take notes, however, and later talked publicly about what was said. Now, 40 years later, we can see how extraordinarily accurate Day was and you can read that August newsletter in the archive on the website. The reason I mention him again here is that he told those doctors in 1969: 'We can ...
