The Neurology of Awakening
Psychological healing and growth, as well as spiritual awakening, all involve changes in your brain. Until recently, these changes inside the "black box" of the brain were mysterious. Now, modern neuroscience is beginning to reveal how you can use your mind alone to activate and gradually strengthen the neural circuits of mindfulness, wholeheartedness, and inner peace. This talk will explore the science of self-directed neuroplasticity, and present several practical methods you can use to change your brain - and thus your life - for the better.

40/40 Vision Lecture: Neurology and the Passion for Art
Why is it that great works of art seem to have a universal appeal, transcending cultural and geographic boundaries? VS Ramachandran, director of UCSD's Center for Brain and Cognition has studied how the brain perceives works of art and thinks he may know the answer to this intriguing question. Neurologist VS Ramachandran on the Mirror Neuron Effect
Complete video at: fora.tv VS Ramachandran explains what causes amputees to have sensations in their phantom limbs, the parts of the brain called mirror neurons. ---- As we use the tools of science to explore the nature of humanity, we are learning more and more about how our brains function and what motivates our behavior, built-in biases and blind spots. These fresh insights are interesting scientifically, but they also evoke significant questions about our lived experience. These perspectives challenge our basic assumptions of who we are, both as individuals and as a society. VS Ramachandran is a neurologist best known for his work in the fields of behavioral neurology and psychophysics. He is currently the Director of the Center for Brain and Cognition at the University of California, San Diego. He is also the author of several books including Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind (1998) and The Tell-Tale Brain: A Neuroscientists Quest for What Makes Us Human (2010).

Anatomy of the Penis: Penile and Foreskin Neurology
Ken McGrath, Senior Lecturer in Pathology at the Faculty of Health, Auckland University of Technology and Member of the New Zealand Institute of Medical Laboratory Scientists discusses his research into the neural anatomy of the human penis and the physical damages caused by circumcision. McGrath is author of The Frenular Delta: A New Preputial Structure published in Understanding Circumcision: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to a Multi-Dimensional Problem, Proceedings of the Sixth International Symposium on Genital Integrity: Safeguarding Fundamental Human Rights in the 21st Century, held December 7-9, 2000, in Sydney Australia. Abstract: Textbooks and papers referring to penile function state that the source of penile sensation is solely the glans and often justify the existence of the prepuce by stating it protects the 'sensitive' glans. These statements are contrary to the neuro-anatomical and physiological facts accumulated over more than a century. This study reviews the findings of Taylor, et al., that the prepuce is the primary sensory platform of the penis, and describes a new preputial structure. This interview was taped in Berkeley, California 2010. ...and from the Global Survey of Circumcision Harm www.circumcisionharm.org Removal of the male foreskin and the female clitoral hood (female foreskin) are anatomically equivalent. However, neurologically speaking, removal of the male foreskin is as destructive to male sexual sensory experience as removal of the ...

_grau is a personal reflection on memories coming up during a car accident, where past events emerge, fuse, erode and finally vanish ethereally … various real sources where distorted, filtered and fitted into a sculptural structure to create not a plain abstract, but a very private snapshot of a whole life within its last seconds …
Media critic Matt Hanson, author of The End of Celluloid and founder of onedotzero festival says: "_grau appeals to me because it is organo-tech. it does not deliberately ape the abstract pioneers of abstract cinema, and it is worlds away from the motion graphic masturbation of many of those enamoured by digital animation. seidel's work is impressionistic, melding biological and emotional currents. out of amorphous shapes we make out bones, heads, a hand. a spirit leaving the body. at least, this is what i sense out of the chaos of galactic reconfigurations, neurological connections, and biological forms. this is a powerful piece of digital animation precisely because it does not feel like such, it feels emotional, epic. and once you release the background to the animation--communicating a 'coming to terms' with the aftermath of a car accident--you realise why."

Neuro-Ophthalmology Lecture 1: Eye Muscles and Double Vision
This first lecture covers basic eye muscle anatomy, cranial nerve palsies, and gives a basic approach to localizing cranial nerve lesions.
Neurology in ophthalmology can be quite tricky, so hopefully this video explains a good approach to extraocular eye movements.
This lecture was created and recorded by Dr. Timothy Root, an ophthalmologist with a background in multimedia education. This material is straight from his textbook "OphthoBook" which can be downloaded and read online at: www.ophthobook.com

TU MENTE INMORTAL - DR. JOE DISPENZA - DOCUMENTAL COMPLETO - http://reikiestepona.blogspot.com
http://reikiestepona.blogspot.com
