Wests Tigers vs. North Queensland Cowboys - 2005 NRL Grand Final - Full match
Full coverage of the 2005 NRL Grand Final played between the Wests Tigers and North Queensland Cowboys on October 2, 2005. It was the first NRL Grand Final for both of these clubs. Both teams came into the decider having defeated the top two teams in the competition - the Cowboys over the Eels and the Tigers over the Dragons. They met earlier in the finals series with the Tigers recording an easy 50-6 victory with Brett Hodgson scoring 30 points. They met again in the Grand Final, only the second time that two teams had played each other twice in a finals series (after the Storm and Dragons in 1999). The Wests Tigers won the 2005 NRL Grand Final by a scoreline of 30-16 and in doing so won their first premiership. The match features one of the best Grand Final tries you will ever see (skip to 52:00 to see it), scored by Pat Richards.

North Queensland Cowboys 2011 Highlights
Video highlights of the North Queensland Cowboys 2011 season. The boys had a much improved season than in previous years and managed to soundly secure a finals berth, only to be cut short by Manly in the playoffs. Sporting some the best attacking and defending players in the game, the team will prove to be a menace in the NRL (National Rugby League) for years to come. Boasting many of the stars of the game in Jonathon Thurston, Matt Bowen, Matt Scott, Willie Tonga, Tariq and Ashton Sims, James Segeyaro and Kalifa Fai Fai Loa. Enjoy! The Sunny Coast on the 500D (mostly)
My home town and favourite place in the world. The Sunshine Coast of Queensland located just an hour north of Brisbane, Australia
Shot by me, mostly on a Canon 500D. There are snippets in there of Panasonic HVX202, Sony EX1 & Nikon D90 too. . .
On the 500D I used an old 75-300mm, the 18-55 Kit lens and the Tokina 11-16 2.8. Can't wait to get some serious glass!

WHITE BOX - Waterfalls of North Queensland
This weekend our crew spent its time hunting waterfalls in the Tully & Innisfail Area. Plenty of waterfals are roadside in the district such as Paranella falls which was at a perfect flow. However a little hunting around come up with even more goods, hitting up two more fun waterfalls and a tight "tea cup" section that flows into the tully river.
Whats the plan for next week?

Cape York 4WD travel video guide Far North Queensland Australia
We decided to take on the ultimate Australian 4WD adventure and head up Queenslands Cape York Peninsula to Australias most northern point. There are a number of ways you can tackle this drive experience. You can take on the OTT or OTL (Old Telegraph line track) where you will experience the great remote wilderness of Australia. This track starts at Bramwell junction and finishes at the Jardine River. There are two bypass roads that allow travellers to get from the Peninsula Development Road to The Tip without having to navigate all of the creek crossings and rough roads. They pass mainly through the highlands to the east and west of the route, and are heavily corrugated which makes for a rough drive. If you decide to take on the challenge of the OTT there are a number of creek crossings along the way, some more challenging than others. Along the way the track reconnects with the Bypass road so you can bypass some of the more challenging crossings if need be. Palm creek, Gunshot, cockatoo creek are some of the more challenging crossings we take on, however there is some pretty spectacular places you will come across on the track like the beautiful elliot falls, twin falls and fruit bat falls all of which provide a great place to cool of or camp for the night. Total solar eclipse delights Australians
A total solar eclipse plunged northern Queensland into darkness for two minutes, delighting crowds packed on the beach in Cairns. Australians donned protective glasses as the clouds parted to allow them to witness one of nature's greatest phenomena -- a total eclipse of the sun. All eyes and cameras turned to the heavens over tropical north Queensland as the moon began moving between the Earth and the sun, like a small bite which gradually increases in size. Cloud cover threatened to spoil the party and huge cheers erupted when they parted to give tens of thousands of eclipse hunters a perfect view of totality -- when the moon completely covers the sun and a faint halo or corona appears. The path of the eclipse got under way shortly after daybreak when the moon's shadow, or umbra, fell in the Garig Gunak Barlu National Park in the Northern Territory, about 155 miles east of Darwin. The umbra then moved eastward before alighting in north Queensland -- one of the few places it could be viewed by humans and where tourists and scientists flocked to witness the region's first total solar eclipse in 1300 years. Adelaide United vs North Queensland Fury 21-1-2011
Adelaide United have set a new Hyundai A-League record after thrashing a hapless North Queensland Fury 8-1 at Hindmarsh Stadium on Friday night, with Marcos Flores and Sergio van Dijk both netting hat-tricks. No team had scored more than six goals a game but the Reds eclipsed that record with one of the finest performances in their history. Flores opened the scoring on four minutes when van Dijk received the ball out wide from Iain Ramsay and whipped in a cross for the Argentine who outjumped his marker to head past Justin Pasfield. After the opening goal the Fury outplayed the Reds and should have equalised through David Williams who missed when it seemed easier to score. Jack Hingert powered a low cross into the box, beating two Adelaide defenders and Williams slid through but sent his shot well over the bar from inside the six-yard box. Just before the half hour Flores was involved again when, after a series of one-twos, he continued running and released Dodd with a delightful through ball. The Reds skipper ran onto the pass from the top of the box curled his shot into the side net leaving Pasfield no chance to make it 2-0. In the 37th minute the pair combined again for Flores' second after some brilliant skill from Dodd. The speedy winger won a header and collected the return pass from van Dijk before skipping past Erik Akoto and into the Fury penalty area. Dodd baulked his defender before looking up and firing across a cut back for Flores to run on to and slam into ...
