Read this first. The Sleeping Beauty ( Спящая красавица), is an over 2 hours long ballet made of a prologue and three acts. It premiered in 1890 at the Mariinsky theater. The music was Tchaikovsky's opus 66. The score was completed in 1889, and is the second of his three ballets. The ballet is based on Charles Perrault's "la belle au bois dormant" The choreographer of the original production was the great (and still unmatched) Marius Petipa. The Sleeping Beauty was the first successful ballet composed by Tchaikovsky. However, it was no more popular than his first ballet, the swan lake (Лебединое озеро) The production was heavily criticized for being too lavish, even though the music was incredible. First act In a magical Kingdom, a princess named Aurora was born as daughter of King and Queen. The Kingdom had a Fairy of Protection, the Lilac Fairy. She and all of her maidens were invited to celebrate Princess Aurora's birth. Unfortunately the royal family forgot to invite also the wicked fairy, Carabosse. Carabosse is distraught by their neglect. She and her crew crash the party anyway, but with evil intentions. She disguises herself as a beautiful fairy and pretends to enjoy the festivities. However, the evil Fairy casts a spell over Princess Aurora saying that on her 16th birthday she will prick her finger and die. Our second day gorilla trekking in Rwanda. Susa group is the oldest habituated group in the national park and has 3 silver backs and 29 family members. We went with Felix as our guide and would highly recommend this group and guide to anyone. We had to trek for 2.5 hours to 3000 metres above sea level but the experience was 100% worth it. Silver back went to touch guide on way past and a young gorilla reach down to touch german tourists hair!!

Premiering on August 31, 1941, The Great Gildersleeve moved the title character from the McGees' Wistful Vista to Summerfield, where Gildersleeve now oversaw his late brother-in-law's estate and took on the rearing of his orphaned niece and nephew, Marjorie (originally played by Lurene Tuttle and followed by Louise Erickson and Mary Lee Robb) and Leroy Forester (Walter Tetley). The household also included a cook named Birdie. Curiously, while Gildersleeve had occasionally spoken of his (never-present) wife in some Fibber episodes, in his own series the character was a confirmed bachelor. In a striking forerunner to such later television hits as Bachelor Father and Family Affair, both of which are centered on well-to-do uncles taking in their deceased siblings' children, Gildersleeve was a bachelor raising two children while, at first, administering a girdle manufacturing company ("If you want a better corset, of course, it's a Gildersleeve") and then for the bulk of the show's run, serving as Summerfield's water commissioner, between time with the ladies and nights with the boys. The Great Gildersleeve may have been the first broadcast show to be centered on a single parent balancing child-rearing, work, and a social life, done with taste and genuine wit, often at the expense of Gildersleeve's now slightly understated pomposity. The official Music Video of Ghost Husband Opening Theme Song entitled "Yuan Yang Jin" performed by Taiwanese singer Ye Huan. This video was shot in West Lake in Hang Zhou, China. The Song was a smash hit in Taiwan, which can be considered Ye Huan's last hit single until now. This song is also included in Yeh Huan's Greatest Hits CD released in 1993. Evening view of Bitan Lake ( 碧潭), historically called Shi-Bitan (石碧潭), and the pedestrian-only suspension bridge over Xindian River in Xindian (Hsintien, Sindian, 新店) in New Taipei City (Xinbei City, 新北市or 台北縣, formerly Taipei County), Taiwan (臺灣)on Feb. 7, 2011. Bitan is a stretch of the Xindian River that has been dammed and turned into a recreational area. The name Bitan means "emerald lake", and is derived from the natural, emerald-turquoise color of the water (except during rainy days). Paddle boats can be rented, and there are some great riverside coffee shops that offer views over the river and the lush green mountains beyond. Bitan is located directly behind Xindian MRT Station, the south terminal station of the Metro Taipei's Green Line.
