Six year old Liam Robinson called 999 when his pregnant mother collapsed. In September Liam rang 999 when Rebecca, who's heavily pregnant, collapsed at home. It was something he'd learned from watching Fireman Sam on the TV. Rebecca was taken to the Sunderland Royal Infirmary by the North East Ambulance service. This track is taken from the album "BBC Radiophonic Music" which was released in 1968. The track is by Delia Derbyshire, who was better known from creating the original Dr Who theme tune. She was a pioneer in electronic music, using reel to reel tape systems to create looping drums and sounds, essentially kick starting the whole idea of sampling and looping music. This track was later used by Die Antwoord in their track "Hey Sexy".

"Liberals are sure they're in the reality-based community and anyone who disagrees with them either has a bad brain, or in some other way rejects empiricism and science, and they are the only ones working with the building blocks of facts and reason," says National Review's Jonah Goldberg, author of the new book, The Tyranny of Cliches: How Liberals Cheat in the War of Ideas. "And I call bullshit on that." Goldberg, who became the editor of National Review Online in 1999, is responsible for creating the tone and format of the highly trafficked website, which built on the magazine's venerable reputation while signaling, as he puts it, "that this is not your father's National Review." Goldberg's new book, which follows his best-selling 2008 Liberal Fascism, argues that liberals should stop claiming their ideas derive solely from science and fact but never ideology--a way of arguing that stifles honest debate. Liberal arguments sometimes take the form of hackneyed cliches meant to sound self-evident but that in reality disguise a political bent, such as "violence never solves anything" or "I may disagree with you but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." Both 1080p, ALL-I 90Mbit (GH2 is hacked, with EOSHD Unified Patch to achieve this)
Lenses on the 5D 'Trevor' Mark III are - Zeiss 85mm F1.4, 300mm F4, Samyang 24mm F1.4 and Tokina 11-16mm at 16mm. The lenses were stopped down to between F5.6 and F11 for optimal sharpness throughout.
Lenses on the Panasonic 'Clever' GH2 are - Olympus 'Scandal' 12mm F2 and Olympus 45mm F1.8. Absolutely superb glass with a nice feel to MF considering they are fly by wire. Again stopped down for optimal sharpness though not as much as the 5D Mark III for depth of field purposes.
Filmed at Monsall Head in Derbyshire's Peak Distract on a fine sunny Sunday in March!
I've written my thoughts on the blog (http://www.eoshd.com/content/7631/panasonic-gh2-vs-5d-mark-iii), here is a summary: the GH2 produces a more pleasing image with far superior resolution and a more organic grain structure. Dynamic range is similar on each out of the box but you can gain a little more back on the 5D Mark III in post if you shoot flat with CineStyle or Flaat.
The improvements to image quality on the 5D Mark III over the Mark II are not with resolution or dynamic range. Only in high ISO performance and moire / aliasing is it significantly better.
In terms of large differences to the GH2 the 5D Mark III has the advantage of full frame sensor size only.
A disappointing update for video shooters.

Naturally, we wanted to test the Fall / Winter 2012 Collection out on the road, documenting times shared with our friends who rode over from Paris to join us in the colder winter temperatures of the Peak District in the United Kingdom. All riding vintage BMW motorcycles, with various hand built custom modifications, which our Parisian friends are famously known for. With the help of a 1974, 1502 BMW used as a back up vehicle, the Edwin collection was put to the test.
It made sense to be testing solid product, riding solid old machines from such a reputable company. It was an opportunity to live up to our reputations for making well constructed product with a shared sense of the freedom we all enjoy...
