The A&E Network is a United States-based cable and satellite television network^{[clarification needed]} with headquarters in New York City and offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, London, Los Angeles and Stamford. A&E also airs in Canada and Latin America. Initially named the Arts & Entertainment Network, A&E launched February 1, 1984, to 9.3 million homes in the U.S. and Canada.^[1] In May 1995, the channel's name officially changed to the A&E Network,^[2] to reflect its declining focus on Arts and Entertainment.^[3] The network is now better known for shows like Dog the Bounty Hunter, Intervention, Storage Wars, Criss Angel Mindfreak and Paranormal State.^[4]

Description and programming[link]

The channel, which originally focused programming on biographies, documentaries, and drama series (especially crime dramas and mysteries), and has expanded to include reality television programming, reaches more than 85 million homes in the United States and Canada. A&E is a joint venture of the Hearst Corporation (42.5% ownership), The Walt Disney Company (42.5%), and NBCUniversal (15%). The network is a result of a merger in 1984 between Hearst/ABC's Alpha Repertory Television Service (ARTS) and (pre–General Electric merger) RCA-owned The Entertainment Channel.^[5]

The A&E Network is the flagship of the A&E Television Networks group, which also includes The History Channel and The Biography Channel. It had often shown programming from abroad, particularly BBC network productions from the United Kingdom.^[5] Examples of British programming frequently broadcast on the channel include the documentary Freud.^[5]

However, the use of British programming has diminished greatly since A&E began scheduling more reality shows. For example, the network waited almost a year and a half to show the fourth season of MI-5, programmed it after prime time on Friday nights at 11pm Eastern, then stopped showing it after only two episodes, and programmed the rest of the season in one day on October 21, 2006.^[6]

Its fine arts programs have also been completely retired. Thursday nights once featured an anthology series called A&E Stage, hosted by John Mauceri, which featured telecasts of notable plays, concerts, full-length documentaries related to the arts, and complete operas, although shown with commercials. Such programs as Otto Schenk's 1978 production of Fidelio, with Leonard Bernstein conducting, were rebroadcast on this anthology. The final fine arts-related show to air on the network, Breakfast with the Arts, once featured a higher quantity of classical music than in its final years, and fewer interviews. The show was cancelled in July 2007.^[7]

1984–2002[link]

When A&E debuted, the channel took over the satellite transponder timeslot that one of its predecessors, ARTS, occupied from its launch in 1981. Children's television channel Nickelodeon signed off just before 9 p.m. Eastern Time, and A&E took over at 9 p.m. with a three-hour programming block, repeated at 9 p.m. Pacific Time. In 1985 A&E moved to its own dedicated transponder to deliver 24-hour programming, and Nickelodeon added its present-day Nick at Nite block. However, some cable providers continued to carry Nickelodeon and A&E on the same channel and would usually make the switch at 8 p.m. Eastern. It wasn't until the early 1990s that these companies found separate channels for both networks.

A&E was envisioned as a commercial counterpart to PBS, and in its early days focused on such PBS-style programming as the Leonard Bernstein Fidelio, shown with commercial interruptions. Later it began to add programming originally seen on commercial networks, such as reruns of Columbo, Breaking Away, Quincy, The Equalizer and Law & Order, and Night Court. Highbrow British mysteries including Agatha Christie's Poirot, Cracker, Dalziel and Pascoe, Inspector Morse, Lovejoy, Midsomer Murders, the Joan Hickson Miss Marple series and Sherlock Holmes were also featured; several of these series were produced in association with A&E. By 1990 A&E's original programming accounted for 35 to 40 percent of the network's program content.^[8]

A&E's signature show was Biography, a one-hour documentary series that A&E revived in 1987.^[9] In 1994 Biography went from one night to five nights a week, which helped boost A&E's ratings to record levels.^[8] The nightly series became A&E's top-rated show and one of cable TV's most notable successes.^[9] Biography received primetime Emmy Awards in 1999 and 2002.^[10]

Until it was officially changed in 1995, the A&E Network's full name was the Arts & Entertainment Network.^[2] By 1997, the network had branded itself as simply A&E, and was using the taglines "Time well spent" and "Escape the ordinary."

"The word 'arts,' in regard to television, has associations such as 'sometimes elitist,' 'sometimes boring,' 'sometimes overly refined' and 'doesn't translate well to TV,'" said Whitney Goit, executive vice president for sales and marketing. "Even the arts patron often finds arts on TV not as satisfying as it should be … And the word 'entertainment' is too vague. Therefore, much like ESPN uses its letters rather than what they stand for — Entertainment Sports (Programming) Network — we decided to go to just A&E." Of the network's tagline, Goit said, "Intellectually, 'Time well spent' defines a comparison between those who view a lot of television as a wasteland, and their acknowledgment that there are good things on TV and that they'd like to watch more thought-provoking TV."^[11]

The A&E Network commissioned Horatio Hornblower (1999), winner of two Emmy Awards, and the seven subsequent dramas in the series; Dash and Lilly (1999), which received nine Emmy nominations; and The Crossing (2000), which won the Peabody Award. The network created two original weekly drama series, Sidney Lumet's 100 Centre Street (2001–02) and Nero Wolfe (2001–02).

In the summer of 2002, A&E underwent an overhaul in management which moved the network's focus toward reality television to attract a younger demographic^[12] and cancelled the network's two original scripted series. In May 2003 A&E launched a marketing campaign with the network's new tagline, "The Art of Entertainment."^[13]Between 2003 and 2007, the channel gradually retired several long-running series, moving its classic mysteries to The Biography Channel and cancelling Breakfast with the Arts, in favor of reality programming such as Dog The Bounty Hunter, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Growing Up Gotti, Family Plots, Airline, Inked, King of Cars, and Criss Angel Mindfreak. In addition, A&E has garnered favorable notice for true-crime documentary series such as Cold Case Files, American Justice, City Confidential, Investigative Reports, and The First 48. The station has also cut back on its broadcasts of Biography from originally twice daily to weekend mornings only.^[14]

The changes were criticized as causing A&E to become an aberration of its original focus on fine arts programming. For example, Maury Chaykin reflected on the cancellation of the A&E original series A Nero Wolfe Mystery in a 2008 interview: "I'm a bit jaded and cynical about which shows succeed on television. I worked on a fantastic show once called Nero Wolfe, but at the time A&E was transforming from the premiere intellectual cable network in America to one that airs Dog the Bounty Hunter on repeat, so it was never promoted and eventually went off the air."^[15]

A&E's most-watched program was the docudrama Flight 93, about the hijacking of the plane which crashed in Pennsylvania during the September 11, 2001 attacks. According to Nielsen, the program attracted 5.9 million viewers for its initial telecast on January 30, 2006. The previous record-holder for the network was a World War II docudrama, Ike: Countdown to D-Day, starring Tom Selleck and broadcast in 2004, with 5.5 million viewers.^[16] A&E has acquired rerun rights to The Sopranos from HBO. The program has garnered very good ratings for the network, as its A&E premiere on January 10, 2007 averaged 3.86 million viewers, making it the most-watched premiere of a rerun off-network series in cable television history.^[17] The series has continued to perform well for A&E, and the network now regularly ranks in the top ten basic U.S. cable channels in prime time ratings.^[18] On February 20, 2008, A&E announced that they will be resuming production on Dog the Bounty Hunter which was canceled after Duane "Dog" Chapman was caught on tape using the word "nigger" and his son sold it to the National Enquirer. On May 14, 2008, A&E announced that Dog the Bounty Hunter would return to the air on June 25, 2008.

A&E has stated that they will be filming Season 4 of Gene Simmons Family Jewels.

On Memorial Day in 2008 in conjunction with the premiere of the original film The Andromeda Strain, A&E rebranded with a new logo and slogan, Real Life. Drama., with the new logo being an evolution of the older logo, along with a larger ampersand equal to the letters, and a strong resemblance to the logo of USA Network.^[19] At the same time, A&E began a heavy cross-promotional campaign of on-screen graphics promoting other programs as well as various features of the A&E website. Each segment of each program aired on A&E now contains one program cross-promo graphic and one website cross-promo graphic.

As part of its continuing efforts to include more scripted shows, A&E has ordered several dramas for Fall 2009. Among them will be projects from Jerry Bruckheimer, Shawn Ryan and Lynda Obst, and a western miniseries from Kevin Costner. Several unscripted series have also been renewed or ordered for fall, including Intervention, The First 48, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Crime 360, Criss Angel Mindfreak, Paranormal State, Manhunters, Storage Wars and Parking Wars, and Shipping Wars.^[20]

In June 2009, it was reported that A&E's partners – Hearst, Disney, and NBCUniversal – were in talks to add Lifetime (then jointly owned by Hearst and Disney) to the A&E Television Networks partnership.^[21][22][23] The transaction was eventually consummated on August 27, 2009.^[24][25]

A&E HD is a 720p high definition simulcast of A&E Network that launched on September 4, 2006. It has found a home on many cable and satellite systems in Canada but was until recently rare in the U.S. However, A&E HD is in the process of becoming more widely available in the U.S., since Comcast, the largest US cable provider, is expanding the number of systems including A&E HD in its lineup in preparation of greater competition from HD satellite service. A&E HD is notable for being one of several cable networks stretching standard definition content horizontally to fill the display area of widescreen HDTVs, rather than preserving the original aspect ratio of 4:3.^{[citation needed]}

Ricardo "Richard" Muñoz Ramirez (born February 29, 1960^[3] in El Paso, Texas) is a convicted serial killer awaiting execution on California's death row at San Quentin State Prison.^{[4] [5]} Prior to his capture, Ramirez was dubbed the "Night Stalker" by the news media.^[6]

Early life[link]

Julian and Mercedes Ramirez had five children, the fifth being Richard Ramirez. The mother was a Catholic,^[7] and his father was a former policeman who later became a laborer on the Santa Fe railroad.^[8] Richard's father was also abusive and believed in corporal punishment.^[9]

Ramirez may have been influenced into killing by his cousin, Mike, a Special Forces Vietnam War veteran who boasted of killing and torturing his Vietnamese enemies and showed him Polaroid pictures of his victims.^[10] These included pictures of the severed heads of Vietnamese women, who in other pictures had been shown fellating Mike.^[11] Ramirez was present the night Mike shot and killed his wife, and her blood splattered on Ramirez's face. Ramirez was 13 years old at the time.^[12]

"Night-stalker" crimes[link]

On March 17, 1985, Ramirez attacked 22-year old Angela Barrios outside her home. He shot her before entering her house. Inside was Dayle Okazaki, age 34, whom Ramirez immediately shot and killed. Barrios survived. The bullet had ricocheted off the keys she held in her hands, as she lifted them to protect herself. Within an hour of killing Okazaki, Ramirez struck again in Monterey Park. He jumped 30-year-old Tsai-Lian Yu and pulled her out of her car onto the road. He shot her several times and fled.^[13] A policeman found her still breathing, but she died before the ambulance arrived. The two attacks occurring on the same day bolstered media attention, and in turn caused panic and fear among the public. The news media dubbed the attacker, who was described as having long curly hair, bulging eyes and wide-spaced rotting teeth, "The Walk-in Killer" and "The Valley Intruder".

On March 27, Ramirez shot Vincent Zazzara, age 64, and his wife Maxine, age 44. Mrs. Zazzara's body was mutilated with several stab wounds and a T-carving on her left breast, and her eyes were gouged out. The autopsy determined that the mutilations were post-mortem. Ramirez left footprints in the flower beds, which the police photographed and cast. This was virtually the only evidence that the police had at the time. Bullets found at the scene were matched to those found at previous attacks, and the police realized a serial killer was on the loose. Vincent and Maxine's bodies were discovered in their Whittier home by their son, Peter.^[14]

By this time, a multi-county police investigation was in operation. The law enforcement agencies worked through the month of April with no additional attacks by Ramirez. Two months after killing the Zazarra couple, Ramirez attacked a Chinese couple: Harold Wu, age 66, who was shot in the head, and his wife, Jean Wu, age 63, who was punched, bound, and then violently raped. For unknown reasons, Ramirez decided to let her live. Ramirez's attacks were now in full throttle. He left behind more clues to his identity, and was named 'The Night Stalker' by the media. Survivors of his attacks provided the police with a description of a tall Hispanic man with long dark hair.

On May 29, 1985, Ramirez attacked Malvial Keller, 83, and her disabled sister, Blanche Wolfe, 80, beating each with a hammer. Ramirez attempted to rape Keller, but failed. Using lipstick, he drew pentagrams on Keller's thigh and on the wall in the bedroom. Blanche survived the attack. The next day, Ruth Wilson, 41, was bound, raped, and sodomized by Ramirez, while her 12-year old son was locked in a closet. Ramirez slashed Wilson once, and then bound her and her son together, and left.^[15]

In June and July, three more women were killed. Two had their throats slit, one was beaten to death, and all three had their homes invaded. On July 5 Whitney Bennett, age 16 of La Cañada, survived being beaten with a tire iron. On July 7 Linda Fortuna, 63, was attacked and Ramirez tried to rape her, but failed. On July 20 he again struck twice. In Sun Valley he shot and killed a 32-year-old man, Chitat Assawahem, and his wife Sakima, 29, was beaten and forced to perform oral intercourse. Ramirez then collected valuables and proceeded to leave. Later in the same day a Glendale couple, Maxson Kneiding, 66, and his wife Lela, also 66, were shot and their corpses mutilated.

On August 6 Ramirez shot both Christopher Petersen, 38, and his wife, Virginia, 27, in the head. Miraculously, they both survived. On August 8 Ramirez attacked a Diamond Bar couple, fatally shooting Ahmed Zia, 35, before raping, sodomizing, and forcing Zia's wife, Suu Kyi, 28, to perform fellatio on him. The description of their attacker fit the previous ones given for "The Walk-in Killer".

Ramirez then left the Los Angeles area, and on August 17, he shot to death a 66-year-old man in San Francisco, also shooting and beating his wife. The wife survived her wounds and was able to identify her attacker as "The Walk-in Killer" from police sketches. Since "The Walk-in Killer" no longer fit the modus operandi of the attacker, the news media re-dubbed him the "Night Stalker".

The next big break in the case came on August 24, 1985, Ramirez traveled 50 miles south of Los Angeles to Mission Viejo, and broke into the Mediterranean Village apartment of Bill Carns, 29, and his fiancée, Inez Erickson, 27. Ramirez shot Carns in the head and raped Erickson. He demanded she swear her love for Satan and afterwards, forced her to perform oral intercourse on him. He then tied her and left. Erickson struggled to the window and saw the car Ramirez was driving. She was able to give a description of both Ramirez and his orange Toyota station wagon.^[16] A teenager later identified the car from news reports and wrote down half its license plate number. The stolen car was found on August 28, and police were able to obtain one fingerprint that was on the mirror of the vehicle. The prints belonged to one Richard Muñoz Ramirez, who was described as a 25-year-old drifter from Texas with a long rap sheet that included many arrests for traffic and illegal drug violations.^[17]

Two days later, his mugshots were broadcast on national television and printed on the cover of every major newspaper in California.^[18] The next day Ramirez was identified, surrounded, and severely beaten by an angry mob in East Los Angeles as he was trying to steal a car. Police had to break up the mob to prevent them from killing Ramirez.

Trial and conviction[link]

Jury selection for the case started on July 22, 1988, and on September 20, 1989, he was found guilty of 13 counts of murder, 5 attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries.^[19] During the penalty phase of the trial on November 7, 1989, he was sentenced to die in California's gas chamber. The trial of Richard Ramirez was one of the most difficult and longest criminal trials in American history, taking over four years to finalize.^[20] Nearly 1,600 prospective jurors were interviewed. More than one hundred witnesses testified, and while a number of witnesses had a difficult time recalling certain facts four years after the crimes, others were quite certain of the identity of Richard Ramirez.

On August 3, 1988 the Los Angeles Times reported that some jail employees overheard Ramirez planning to shoot the prosecutor with a gun, which Ramirez intended to have smuggled into the courtroom.^[21] Consequently, a metal detector was installed outside of the courtroom and intensive searches were conducted on people entering. On August 14, the trial was interrupted because one of the jurors, Phyllis Singletary, did not arrive to the courtroom. Later that day she was found shot to death in her apartment. The jury was terrified; they could not help wondering if Ramirez had somehow directed this event from inside his prison cell, and if he could reach other jury members. However, Ramirez was not responsible for Singletary's death; she had been shot and killed by her boyfriend, who later killed himself with the same weapon in a hotel.^[22] The alternate juror who replaced Singletary was too frightened to return to her home.

By the time of the trial, Ramirez had fans who were writing him letters and paying him visits.^[23] Since 1985, freelance magazine editor Doreen Lioy^[24] wrote him nearly 75 letters during his incarceration.^[25] In 1988 he proposed to her, and on October 3, 1996, they were married in California's San Quentin State Prison.^[26] Lioy has stated that she will commit suicide when Ramirez is executed.^[27]

Mitchell and Webb are a British comedy double act, composed of David Mitchell (born 14 July 1974) and Robert Webb (born 29 September 1972). They are best known for starring in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show and their award-winning sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Look. The duo first met at the Footlights in 1993 and collaborated for the 1995 Revue whilst studying at Cambridge University.

After graduating from university, the duo did two-man shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and some sketch writing, including a series of Big Train and also for Armstrong and Miller's eponymous show.^[2] Their big break came in 2000 when they joined the writing team for the BBC Two sketch show Bruiser. The following year, the short-lived Play UK channel invited them to write their own sketch show, The Mitchell and Webb Situation. Despite the low ratings of the channel, the show was reasonably well-received by viewers. After the success, they wrote and starred in the Radio 4 sketch show, That Mitchell and Webb Sound – which was later adapted for television on BBC Two as That Mitchell and Webb Look. The first series of That Mitchell and Webb Look won the BAFTA for "Best Comedy Programme" in 2007.

They often appear with Olivia Colman, James Bachman, Mark Evans and Paterson Joseph.

In 2008, the duo wrote a pilot script for their first original sitcom; in Playing Shop, the two star as Eric and Jamie, friends who set up a business together after they are made redundant from their old jobs. Hartswood Films recorded the pilot episode on 20 December, with a view to producing a full series for BBC Two.^[3] Although approved by BBC, plans for future episodes fell through as Mitchell and Webb decided not to proceed with it.

Mitchell and Webb collaborated with Armstrong and Miller again for the 2009 Red Nose Day fundraising event. They co-wrote and starred in two short sketches incorporating Armstrong and Miller's iconic World War II airmen characters from The Armstrong and Miller Show and their characters Sir Digby and Ginger from their radio show That Mitchell and Webb Sound.

Gui Boratto (born 1974 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian electronic music producer. In the 1990s he was a member of Sect.

His album Chromophobia^[1] was awarded the title of Mixmag Album of the Month. Regarding why he chose the name Chromophobia, Boratto said: "The same meaning as monochromatism in architecture, which means simplicity. That’s all. I don’t have a morbid fear of colors at all. But also, I was ironic. My music is really colorful." ^[2]

On stage, Gui uses a laptop equipped with Ableton Live, a JazzMutant Lemur, a monome and an Evolution Uc33e. He sometimes invites a guitar player to join him.^[3]

Dash Berlin (born 8 November 1979) is a Dutch progressive-trance^[1] project created in 2007 in The Hague by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn^[2]. The front man of the group is the DJ Jeffrey Sutorius a.k.a Dash Berlin ^[3]. Kalberg and Molijn have been contributing to the international dance scene for over ten years, with award-winning and platinum-selling hits for dance acts such as Alice Deejay, Vengaboys, Candee Jay, Pronti & Kalmani and Solid Sessions ^[4]. They also have been working together with DJ Sander Kleinenberg on classic tracks like “This Is Miami” and “The Fruit” and remixes for major artists such as Justin Timberlake ('Rock Your Body' Remix winning the award for 'Best Remix' at the Dance Star USA Awards), Janet Jackson, BT, Usher, N.E.R.D., Lenny Kravitz, Junkie XL, Röyksopp, Mylo, and Annie Lennox ^[5].

Early years[link]

Dash Berlin was formed when Jeffrey Sutorius (born in November 1979 in The Hague, The Netherlands) and his close friends, Kalberg and Molijn teamed up in 2006. ^[6]. Jeffrey Sutorius was a fan of electronic music from his high school days and in his late teens worked in a record store and became a collector of vinyl trance music. Inspired by pioneering figures such as Sven Vath, Oliver Lieb and Sander Kleinenberg, Sutorius began mixing and producing his own music. He started performing in the Dutch underground music scene in early '95 and teamed up with fellow producers and close friends Kalberg and Molijn to form Dash Berlin in 2006 ^[7].

Recognition[link]

The breakthrough for Dash Berlin came in early 2007 with “Till the Sky Falls Down”. The track shot straight to the top of the Trance charts worldwide, due in part to Armin van Buuren who included it on the third chapter of his acclaimed “Universal Religion” mix album. Van Buuren subsequently signed Dash Berlin to the Armada Music label ^[8].

Dash Berlin won the IDMA award for the track 'Waiting' in the category 'Best High Energy Track' and was nominated three times at the International Dance Music Awards, during the WMC in Miami in 2009. His tracks 'Waiting' featuring Australian singer Emma Hewitt and 'Man On The Run', a collaboration with fellow Armada artists Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren were both nominated that year in the category 'Best Trance Track'. In Armin van Buuren's popular radio show A State of Trance the 'Waiting' single was elected by the audience to the second best Trance track of the year 2009. The music video is shot in Rotterdam and gains over twelve million views on YouTube.

In 2010 Dash was nominated for the 'Best European DJ' at the IDMA's and entered the DJ Mag Top 100 poll at number 15. It won the DJ Mag Top 100 Award for 'Highest New Entry', during the Magazine's ceremony at the Ministry Of Sound in London, hosted by Boy George. On October 20, 2011 DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll for the very first time in Amsterdam, with Dash Berlin placed at #8 in the world. ^[9]. In 2012 Dash receives a nomination for 'Best Trance Track' at the IDMA's for his track with Jonathan Mendelsohn entitled "Better Half Of Me".

Aropa Records[link]

In early 2009 plans emerge to expand the Dash Berlin influence with his own label called “Aropa.” The first release under the new label is “Man on the Run”, a collaboration with fellow Armada artists Cerf, Mitiska, & Jaren. The track rocketed to the top of the international Trance charts and received a nomination for ‘Best Trance Track’ at the annual Trance Awards ^[10].

October 2009 brings the global release of Dash Berlin’s critically acclaimed debut album, “The New Daylight”, which contains the hits, “Till the Sky Falls Down”, “Man on the Run”, “Waiting” and “Never Cry Again”. A world tour follows beginning in January 2010 in Australia. He deejays all over the world and debuts at big events like 'Trance Energy' in Utrecht, 'A State Of Trance 450' in Bratislava and Dance Valley in Spaarnwoude.

April 27th 2012 brings the global release of Dash Berlin's second artist album called "#musicislife", which contains the hits; "Disarm Yourself", "Better Half Of Me", "World Falls Apart", "Go It Alone" and "Apollo Road". A world tour follows beginning in May 2012 in Mexico.

United Destination[link]

In March 2010 Dash Berlin releases his first official DJ mix, double CD album entitled, “United Destination”. Dash remixes the track and the music video of 'Not Giving Up On Love' by the then number 1 DJ in the world Armin van Buuren, featuring the vocals of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who is an English singer, songwriter, model and occasional DJ. Another Dash Berlin remix gets delivered for Danish singer Medina for her track 'You and I' which is an English version of the Danish song, "Kun for mig", released in late 2008 in Denmark, where it spent 52 weeks on the singles chart; six weeks at number one; making it the best selling single of 2009 in Denmark.

United Destination 2011[link]

The follow up to 'United Destination is released in 2011 called; "United Destination 2011" making it an annual concept. UD2011 includes two previously unreleased Dash Berlin tracks; the Dash Berlin 4AM Remix of 'Till The Sky Falls Down' and the single 'Earth Hour', from which Dash Berlin donated the proceeds to WNF. The official Dash Berlin Earth Hour video contains quotes from Hollywood actor Edward Norton and the 'I Am Only A Child' speech by human rights activist Severn Suzuki.

Singles[link]

In 2011 Dash Berlin reunites with Emma Hewitt on the track 'Disarm Yourself'. The music video is shot in Australia just weeks before disaster strikes. Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt donate the proceeds of the single to the Flood Relief Fund in Australia. He remixes the track 'A&E' by UK indie band 'Morning Parade' for Parlophone Records, the UK label behind artists such as 'The Beatles', 'Coldplay' and 'The Chemical Brothers'. Dash Berlin collaborates with German Trance DJ ATB on the instrumental track 'Apollo Road' and they perform the track together as a surprise act during an ATB concert in Poland, where the music video was shot. The single 'Better Half Of Me' features the vocals of New York City-based singer Jonathan Mendelsohn and is accompanied by Dash Berlin's most expensive music video so far. After the release of the 'Better Half Of Me Video' music video, Dash Berlin releases another bonus music video, this time with an acoustic piano version of the song. He performs at some of the worlds biggest festivals like; Electric Daisy Festival in Las Vegas, A State Of Trance 500 in Buenos Aires, Eurofest in Mexico City, Mayday in Minsk and the Sunrise Festival in Kołobrzeg.
