Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a series of real-time strategy video games set within the Command & Conquer universe. The series is well known for having some of the most quirky and outlandish units in the genre.
The Red Alert series takes place in an alternate timeline, created when Albert Einstein travels back to the past and eliminates Adolf Hitler in an attempt to prevent World War II from taking place. This plan indirectly backfires and results in an unchecked Soviet invasion of Europe by Joseph Stalin in the 1950s. The Stalin-led invasion of Europe serves as the backdrop for the first Command & Conquer: Red Alert game. Two expansion packs for Red Alert were released: Counterstrike and The Aftermath. New units, missions, multiplayer maps and music tracks were included in these expansions.
Red Alert is the debut album by the Poway, California punk rock band Agent 51, released by Alphabet Records in 1998. It established the band's presence in the local punk rock scene. Some of the songs and the album artwork detail the band's fascination with UFOs, extraterrestrials and the possible coverup of their existence by the United States government. An independent music video was filmed for the title track.
After the song "San Diego's Burning" the album has 31 blank tracks, then at 0:51 into track 51 there is a "hidden" semi-instrumental version of "Red Alert," with vocals only on the chorus. After the song, on the same track, there is a clip from the "Area 51" radio program.
All songs written and composed by Chris Armes.
Red Alert is a 1977 nuclear power plant disaster movie. It starred William Devane, Michael Brandon, Ralph Waite and Adrienne Barbeau.
This is me calling, could someone get the phone, please.
I hope you haven't all forgotten about me.
Ev'rything is nothing, there, I've said it again and again and again,
I'm jumping someone else's train.
Wrong is right and right is wrong,
Can't even figure out where I belong now,
But how am I ever gonna get a trip,
When I slip and I trip over just about every little thing there is.
Hey, I'm not gonna crack, I'm not gonna crack, I'm not gonna crack this time,
I'll feel fine and nothing in the world is gonna make me wine.
That's easier said than done, for sure.
My mood swings have begun, so pure
And I'm feeling the pain in my brain again,
Feeling the pain again, feeling so lame again.
Red Alert, Red Alert...
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
This is a never ending story,
I need someone to puzzle it for me,
Need someone to solve the mistery of the reaccuring madness,
Tearing me down into a see of sadness.
Sad, sad as it ever was.
Mad, mad as it ever was.
And I could never see myself sinking all the way,
But now I'm too alone to even get away.
Get away from the pain in my brain, am I still sane?
I guess I worry too much about what is said and done,
I should shut down my brain and have some fun.
But there's a fire burning inside of me,
You can't put it out all that easily.
Burning is living to me, ev'rybody.
Help! Don't need nobody!
Red Alert, Red Alert...
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
I can't tell you what I really feel,
'Cause in a mood like this I don't really feel,
I'm not really me at all, more like a shadow of myself,
Trapped by my own mind, trapped by myself.
So may the force be with me forever, surrender to the dark side never,
I wanna gain control you see, so that the empires never gonna strike back on me.
Red Alert, Red Alert...
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
In search for the homecrowd! I can't get it out!
In search for the homecrowd!
