Katie Hopkins (born 31 May 1975) is a British reality television contestant, businesswoman and journalist, best known for her 2007 appearance on the third UK series of TV reality programme The Apprentice, in which contestants compete for a £100,000-a-year job working for British businessman Sir Alan Sugar. Hopkins withdrew from the programme during the eleventh week. She was memorable on the programme for her controversial comments to other contestants and to the members of the public. She has made various media appearances since leaving the programme including taking part in I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! on ITV.

Katie Hopkins was born to Roy and Anona Hopkins in 1975. As a child she attended a private school and then North Devon College in Barnstaple. She attended the University of Exeter, studying Politics and Economics,; She has participated in Officer Cadet Training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst but did not pass the course as a British Army officer and was deemed to be considered medically unfit to undertake duties. She was once a stand-by contestant for reality show Big Brother and appeared in an un-aired television pilot of the programme. Hopkins has worked as a consultant for organisations such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Moët et Chandon, Reuters, Thomson Financial and Barclays.

The X Factor finalists (UK series 7)}} The seventh UK series of The X Factor was broadcast on ITV between 21 August and 12 December 2010. The final 12 were declared on 3 October 2010. Four wildcards were announced on the first live show of the finals on 9 October 2010, bringing the number of finalists up to 16.

Matt Cardle (born 15 April 1983) is a former painter and decorator from Little Maplestead, Essex. Born to parents David and Jennifer Cardle, he was diagnosed with Wilms' tumour, a form of cancer when he was a toddler. He recovered after one of his kidneys was removed at age 2. Before applying to The X Factor, he was the frontman and acoustic guitar player of the band Seven Summers alongside Alex Baker (drums), Jon Holland (bass) and Neillo (guitars). The band had alternative rock, pop, urban, and folk influences and released a debut album on 22 January 2010 with their debut single being "Picture of You".

Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof (born 13 March 1989) is a British journalist, television presenter and model.

Geldof was born in London in 1989, the second daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates. She is the granddaughter of Hughie Green. Her sisters are Fifi Trixibelle Geldof and Pixie Geldof. She also has a younger half-sister, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof.

She grew up in Chelsea, London, and Faversham, Kent, and was educated at Queen's College, London. After moving out of her father's house at eighteen, Peaches rented a flat in Islington, North London, but gave up her lease to move to New York with then-husband, Max Drummey.

Geldof wrote a magazine column for the UK edition of Elle Girl, starting with its April 2004 issue and continuing until the magazine folded in October 2005. From age 14–17 she wrote a weekly socio-political column for The Daily Telegraph, and wrote numerous articles for The Guardian. Geldof worked for a time as an advice columnist in ES Magazine, and writes a regular monthly column for Nylon magazine, and also for Cleo Australia.

Holly Marie Willoughby (born February 10, 1981), is an English television presenter and model, known for her work in presenting children's TV and entertainment shows. In her early career she modelled underwear and went on to present CD:UK. In 2006, she won a BAFTA and was chosen to present Dancing on Ice, a UK celebrity talent show, shown on the ITV network which drew in an average of 8.9 million viewers in the 2010 series. She later stepped down from the role in 2011 due to new commitments and was replaced by Christine Bleakley. In July 2009, she was selected as a replacement for Fern Britton on This Morning. She began presenting on This Morning on 14 September 2009, alongside Phillip Schofield. On 23 November 2011, it was announced that Willoughby would be hosting the singing show The Voice UK on the BBC along with Reggie Yates.

The younger of two daughters of the manager of a double-glazing company and an air stewardess, Willoughby was educated at the independent Burgess Hill School For Girls in the town of Burgess Hill in West Sussex. She went on to attend The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham.^{[citation needed]}

The Daily Mail is a British, daily middle-markettabloid newspaper owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust.

First published in 1896 by Lord Northcliffe, it is the United Kingdom's second biggest-selling daily newspaper after The Sun. Its sister paper The Mail on Sunday was launched in 1982. Scottish and Irish editions of the daily paper were launched in 1947 and 2006 respectively. The Daily Mail was Britain's first daily newspaper aimed at the newly literate "lower-middle class market resulting from mass education, combining a low retail price with plenty of competitions, prizes and promotional gimmicks", and the first British paper to sell a million copies a day.

The Daily Mail has had substantial and controversial political positions over its history, including accusations of warmongering before World War I. Lord Rothermere and Lord Beaverbrook were instrumental in launching the United Empire Party in 1929 which sought a British Empire trading block. Rothermere was sympathetic to the fascist movement in Great Britain until 1934, when the British Union of Fascists held a rally where violence occurred.
