Bolinao, Pangasinan offers a colorful history, being the melting pot of culture that dates back to the Chinese' dynasty era when Chinese and neighboring Vietnam has always embark by its shores to trade goods during the 10th century. A pre-colonial time of the Philippines when it was once called the Maharlika.
Its northern and nothwestern tip features pristine golden sand beaches and a verdant colored sea as it faces directly west to provide a glaring view of the sunset and its waves are strong due to the vast West Philippine Sea where the waters originate.
We’ve been to Enchanted Cave, Wonderful Cave, Patar Beach,
Cape Bolinao lighthouse, Bolinao Waterfalls I & II, Bolinao City Hall and Bolinao Church St. James the Great Parish.

It's a cool and refreshing dip 30 to 45 minutes away from the town of Bolinao. We got there via a tricycle but some resorts provide van tours around Bolinao which will include these falls.The road to the falls is unpaved giving us a bumpy ride. But getting there is worth it. It's good in the picture and in video as well. There are two falls in the area, namely: Falls 1 and Falls 2 -

Super enjoy!!! Our First time to be in this place... Friends from Anda just told us about it then we got interested... With no Idea on how does it really looks.. only some imaginary pictures on our minds... they instructed us on how to get there... we commuted.... From Anda, we took a jeepney ride going to Alaminos then ride off at Samang Norte... Rode on a tricycle for almost 30minutes.. rough road actually... :)) ridding off the tricycle... we already heard the water falls... then we took a 10minutes walk going down to the falls from the main road... it's forest.. not civilized area... it is so beautiful!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ -

K. Oanh Ha interviews Bolinao 52 filmmaker Duc Nguyen and boat survivor, Tung Trinh, the woman featured in the film. Duc Nguyen explains why he felt driven, as a boat refugee himself, to tell this story. Tung Trinh boarded the boat that became known as the Bolinao 52 in 1988, with her young five year old son, Lam, never realizing the ordeal that they would both endure. The refugees hoped to make it to the South China Sea to be picked up by passing ships. Only two days out, the engine died, and soon food and water ran out and over half of the 110 refugees perished from the hunger, thirst and exposure. Their boat drifted for thirty-seven days before the Pilipino fisherman from the town of Bolinao rescued the refugees. Tung Trinh recounts a remarkable story of survival and the power of the ...

We got there via a tricycle but some resorts provide van tours around Bolinao which will include these falls.The road to the falls is unpaved giving us a bumpy ride. But getting there is worth it. It's good in the picture and in video as well. There are two falls in the area, namely: Falls 1 and Falls 2

they instructed us on how to get there... we commuted....
From Anda, we took a jeepney ride going to Alaminos then ride off at Samang Norte... Rode on a tricycle for almost 30minutes.. rough road actually... :))
ridding off the tricycle... we already heard the water falls... then we took a 10minutes walk going down to the falls from the main road...
it's forest.. not civilized area... it is so beautiful!!!!

Tung Trinh boarded the boat that became known as the Bolinao 52 in 1988, with her young five year old son, Lam, never realizing the ordeal that they would both endure. The refugees hoped to make it to the South China Sea to be picked up by passing ships. Only two days out, the engine died, and soon food and water ran out and over half of the 110 refugees perished from the hunger, thirst and exposure. Their boat drifted for thirty-seven days before the
