AMR MOSTAFA Mohamed Abdrhman (Arabic,عمرو مصطفى محمد عبد الرحمن) (born December 30, 1979) is an Egyptian singer and composer. One of the most popular composers in the Middle East composing for the likes of Amr Diab, Samira Said, Nawal Al Zoghbi, Mohamed Monir, shab Mamy, Mostafa Ammar, Hesham Abaas, Mustafa Sandal, Raquel Camins, Orshe palm, and many others. Early life Amr Mostafa was born in Cairo and lived in a normal family with his two sisters and one brother. It soon came out that he was artistically talented, composing Arabic poems from his first year in school. According to his official biography, the first toy ever was a small guitar when he was age three only. Intending to become a pilot in the Egyptian air force, Amr entered the air force high school which he quit after one year. The biography states that he felt imprisoned in this school and could not easily adapt to the environment. Later, Amr joined Faculty of Law at Cairo University, which marked the official beginning of his career as a musician and singer. He composed some songs, including the university song which is called ( Gamaatna ) as well as a song about the tragedy of the Palestinian people, for which he was awarded a prize as the best composer in Cairo University. One of Egypt's most popular lyrics writers, Dr Adel Omar, was one of the supervisors of best composer contest[1].
