This is my best holiday EVER! Staying at Crimson Resort & Spa was the best decision I made and it is a great resort for relaxation although there is nothing much to do in Cebu! _________________ Mactan is an island located a few kilometers from the island of Cebu in the Philippines. The island is part of the province of Cebu and it is divided into Lapu-Lapu City and the municipality of Cordova. The island is connected to Cebu by the two bridges one of which is the Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the Mactan Bridge. Motorbike Ride Thru Basak, Mactan Island. 5:45 PM December 8, 2009. The streets fill up at dusk, the heat of the sun has died down and the people come out of the shade. This is the real Mactan, not the glossy fairytale the five star resorts show you. Nice, friendly wonderful folks, coming home from work, school, and playing basketball in the streets. Mactan is full of traffic... all kinds of traffic. Makes an interesting ride.
