Rebel victory possible in Syria, but at unacceptable price - Russia
Russia says it doesn't rule out the possibility of a rebel victory in Syria's long-running conflict, admitting that the Assad government is losing control of the country. The statement follows an international conference, where around a hundred states pledged to boost their support for the opposition. Chemical Syria: 'Enemies of Allah will die like rabbits'
Syria's military is preparing to use chemical weapons against rebels, and is awaiting final orders from President Assad according to un-named US officials quoted in the American media. Washington says THAT would be all the reason it needs to intervene in the conflict. And as RT's Middle East correspondent Paula Slier reports, the timing of these unsubstantiated WMD revelations may not be coincidence. Also, RT talks to Dr. Ali Mohamad, the editor in chief of the Syria Tribune online magazine. 'Ground being prepared for Syria intervention' - ex-US Chief of Staff
The Netherlands is mobilizing two Patriot missile batteries to send to Turkey, joining German and American units. They're to guard against a possible attack from Syria, one that Lawrence Wilkerson, the former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell, says will never come. Ground Zero: Syria (Part 1) - Assad's Child Victims
VICE commissioned renowned photojournalist and videographer Robert King to embed on the front lines with the Free Syrian Army in Aleppo. War-zone chaos ensued. In this episode, Assad forces hit Al Qusayr with a rocket attack while Robert is filming - it was targeted directly. Syria: terrorist confessions & journalists testimony: Al-Jazeera partner in Syrian bloodshed
'Qatar is aligned with US in destabilizing Syria': The emir of Qatar has become the first Arab leader to voice support for military intervention in Syria should the bloodshed continue there. Does that mean Doha is aligned with the West's agenda in the region? Sheikh Hamd bin Khalifa Al Thani made the statement during his interview with US news channel CBS. Speaking about the conflict in Syria, Sheik Hamad said "For such a situation to stop the killing, some troops should go to stop the killing." Patrick Henningsen, an associate editor for infowars.com told RT that Qatar is aligned with the US in destabilizing Syria, as it was in Libya. "Qatar played a crucial role in the destabilization of Libya and actually provided 1600 troops on the ground during the Libyan uprising. Qatar also was the country that signed the deal back in February 2011 to market crude oil from Libya -- this is way in advance of toppling Gaddafi," he explained. "Qatar hosts US Central Command. So there is definitely synergy there with whatever America's agenda is." Watch Video rt.com

Playground From Hell - Syria
For downloads and more information visit: www.journeyman.tv Over 3000 children have been killed in Syria's conflict. For children in the war zones innocence is lost, play a charade from another life. In this powerful report we hear their stories, glimpse into a world no child should have to suffer. Ahmad has grown wise to the rules of Syria's deadly grown-up games. He calmly recollects how his home was recently searched by the army. "The man said, 'repeat after me: the people want...'. I said: Bashar al-Assad, of course." Age has offered no escape in Syria's bloody battle of attrition. Schools have become military bases, families have been driven from their homes and children have seen parents, siblings and friends murdered. In Homs, a city almost entirely destroyed, three children take to the stage, singing a chant of martyrdom whilst men below sway to the rhythm. At home with a farming family as the sound of shelling grows closer, it is clear why eleven-year-old Yahya "cries out in fear" in his sleep. 5-year-old Malek says she isn't scared of the shelling, but since her father was killed she hides behind her mother whenever she hears the sound. Brothers from Homs break down in tears as they describe fleeing the bombardment of their home and the men with knives who butcher children. "Where is the world?" implores one of the children, his face scraped, his eyes filled with tears. Hugh Macleod and Annasofie Flamand

Syrian activist: Lethal attack on bakery was a 'message'
At least 90 people were killed and scores others injured in an air strike on a bakery in Syria's central Hama province, activists said. Activists on Sunday told Al Jazeera that the death toll was likely to rise in the town of Halfaya, where the strike hit. Mousab al-Hamadee, an activist in the suburbs of Hama, told Al Jazeera that Halfaya and nearby towns have witnessed heavy shelling since rebels began advancing in the province. Al Jazeera spoke to Hamadee.

Syria. The other side.
Following the recent events that took place in Syria, people all over the world used to see this country like it presented by media. I have been twice there and can assure you Syria is a wonderful land with its age-old traditions and unique culture. First, I came to Syria together with my friends in August 2010. That's exactly when I shot my first video about the place. Later Blake Whitman showed it on vimeo.com HD channel. The movie was warmly met and watched by a great number of people, what gave me an opportunity to take part in another project in Syria in February this year. It was a documentary about the country made in 20 days. I was DOP in a second unit. The video you see I made together with my friend from my Syrian shot here, at home. I wish people remembered Syria a great and marvelous country like it really is! Thank you!

A Day in the Life of a Syrian Citizen Journalist
Hussein worked for his family's real estate company before the Syrian uprising became increasingly violent 8 months ago. Frequent bombings and gunfire between President Bashar al-Assad forces and Syrian rebels turned the country into one of the most dangerous place in the world. Most jobs in Syria, including Hussein's in Qusayr, disappeared.
Hussein, a pro-revolution activist who asked not to use his last name for fear of retribution, began taking pictures and videos of the violence and sending them to TV stations, free of charge. Blockades and attacks on foreign journalists in Syria has made real-time information about the conflict more and more scarce.
Broadcaster are increasingly relying on untrained citizen journalists like Hussein for insight into what's going on in the country.
In this eye-opening Storyhunter video, Hussein tells his story.

Syrian School - Part 2 - Rap Refugees
Episode two introduces Yarmouk School, which sits in the heart of a Palestinian Refugee Camp that’s sat on the southern edge of the city for over sixty years. Nearly all its students are Palestinian, coming of age in a society obsessed with its Palestinian identity and right to return to its homeland.
Two schoolgirls are breaking the mould. Shaza and Rahaf dream of serving the Palestinian cause though rap music, but their plans put them on a collision course with their parents and traditionalist head teacher as they try to bring their radical rap into the classroom.
