The residence, in Gary, Indiana, was destroyed two weeks by Zak Bagans, a host and producer of the show Ghost Adventures. It was filmed for a documentary he plans to release later this year. Bagans bought the home back in 2014 for $35,000 after Latoya Ammons reported that she and her three children had been possessed by demons while living there, a claim which was later backed up by members of the local police department and workers from the Indiana Department of Child Services.'Something was inside that house that had the ability to do things that I have never seen before — things that others carrying the highest forms of credibility couldn't explain either,' Bagans told the IndyStar. 'There was something there that was very dark yet highly intelligent and powerful.' The possession and exorcism of Ammons was actually filmed inside the house by police. Throughout the hour-long film officers hear testimony of children picked up and flung against walls and furniture; of adults being ‘choked to death’ by some supernatural force; of a demonic form appearing in different shapes – the shadow of a man, a black looming monster; an apparition of a withered old lady with red eyes and hood; of a house that bled clear, odorless oil and of the household’s three children convulsing and chanting Satanic verses. In a chilling aside, in a separate audio recording made by one of the officers as he took pictures while his colleague filmed – audible here exclusively at MailOnline – the two officers’ speech is cut across by a whispered, but clear, ‘Hey.’ Neither said or heard it at the time. She recalled: ‘I saw “it” trying to come out [of him]. It was trying to break loose in front of the doctor. ‘His head was turning, his eyes rolled back, his mouth went crazy, he started talking in tongues then it threw my grandson completely across the room.’ The nurse who witnessed this would not go back into the room while the doctor, realizing this was well beyond his capabilities, called police and paramedics to take the child and his brother, both of whom fell unconscious, to Gary ER. When there, and in the grips of demonic possession, his grandmother maintained, her youngest grandson – growling and gurning – walked backwards towards a wall then glided up it, walking backwards to above her head height, holding her hands all the way as she tried to coax him down and ‘it’ out, before flipping over her head and landing on the floor. The child had no recollection of the event that was witnessed by nurses, social workers and paramedics all of whom recorded it in official reports. A terrified mother claims she watched in horror as her demon-possessed 9-year-old son walked backwards up a wall and ceiling. Her claims would be easy to dismiss if a child services case worker and a nurse weren't reportedly there to witness it all. Latoya Ammons claims all three of her children showed signs of being possessed, including "evil" smiles and strangely deep voices, the Indianapolis Star reports. The mother says she also witnessed her 12-year-old daughter levitating in their Gary, Ind., home. Strangely enough, the scary-sounding incident is outlined in official documents. Further, Gary police Capt. Charles Austin told the Star that he is a "believer" after making several visits to the home and interviewing witnesses. He first thought the family was making stories up as part of a get-rich-quick scheme. Ammons' home was "exorcized" by a catholic priest in a number of ceremonies that were reportedly authorized by the Diocese of Gary. The story apparently became so believable that officers with the police department said they were too scared to stay at the house and some city officials wouldn't even step foot on the property. The 32-year-old mother says the spirits that haunted her family's house were only vanquished after she moved away and underwent several exorcisms. The unbelievable story has come to light after the Indianapolis Star obtained hundreds of pages of official documents relating to the case. The Ammons family moved into the rental house on Carolina Street in Gary, Ind., back in November 2011. They soon noticed strange occurrences, including swarms of flies around the house, footsteps in the basement and wet footprints streaking across the living room floor.
