Pure Imagination - Gene Wilder - Willy Wonka
The song Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory has always been a favorite of mine. Growing up in the 70's this was one of my favorite movies to watch. I'm not really a big of fan of the 2005 release of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory though, just didn't sit right with me for some reason. A little about the movie: Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a 1971 musical film adaptation of the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, directed by Mel Stuart, and starring Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. The film tells the story of Charlie Bucket as he receives a golden ticket and visits Willy Wonka's chocolate factory with four other children from around the world. Filming took place in Munich in 1970, and the film was released on June 30, 1971. Directed by: Mel Stuart Produced by: David L. Wolper Stan Margulies Screenplay by: Roald Dahl David Seltzer (uncredited) Based on: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl Starring: Gene Wilder Jack Albertson Peter Ostrum Music by: Anthony Newley Leslie Bricusse Cinematography: Arthur Ibbetson Editing by: David Saxon Studio: Wolper Productions Distributed by: Paramount Pictures Warner Bros. (Current) Release date(s): June 30, 1971 (1971-06-30) Song Lyrics: Willy Wonka: [Spoken] Hold your breath Make a wish Count to three [Sung] Come with me And you'll be In a world of Pure imagination Take a look And you'll see Into your imagination We'll begin With a spin Traveling in The world of my ...

Gene Wilder Willy Wonka's famous rant - YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY, SIR!
Grandpa Joe: Mr. Wonka? Willy Wonka: I am extraordinarily busy, sir. Grandpa Joe: I just wanted to ask about the chocolate - Uh, the lifetime supply of chocolate... for Charlie. When does he get it? Willy Wonka: He doesn't. Grandpa Joe: Why not? Willy Wonka: Because he broke the rules. Grandpa Joe: What rules? We didn't see any rules. Did we, Charlie? Willy Wonka: Wrong, sir! Wrong! Under section 37B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers shall become null and void if - and you can read it for yourself in this photostatic copy - "I, the undersigned, shall forfeit all rights, privileges, and licenses herein and herein contained," et cetera, et cetera..."Fax mentis incendium gloria cultum," et cetera, et cetera..."Memo bis punitor delicatum!" It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks. You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized, so you get nothing! You lose! Good day sir!

It is very rare to see pictures or videos of the very few wild brown bears that inhabit the Pyrenees mountains in the border between Spain and France. In these mountains the species reached the very edge of extinction, but the reintroduction project into the French side in the years 1996-1997 of two females and one male coming from Slovenia returned hope to the species.
For twelve days of work over three weeks in May-June 2010, the team of photographers Oriol Alamany and Eulalia Vicens working with naturalist Marc Alonso obtained new images of great documentary value, where you can see two different wild Brown Bears recorded in the Catalan Pyrenees. In twelve days Eulàlia and Oriol observed the bears on nine different occasions, sometimes for up to five consecutive hours, making photographs and videos. The images show two young bears constantly eating the tender grass that at this time of year covers the meadows of the high Pyrenees.
This video is recorded in 1080p Full HD with a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV, but this copy is reduced to 720p for viewing purposes. The team never approached the bears for not interfering at all with their natural behaviour, so we had to resort to long focal lengths of 500 mm with 2X and 1.4 X teleconverters.
You can see pictures and a detailed explanation of the work in:

The naturalist and nature guide Marc Alonso was responsible for monitoring the reintroduced bears during the LIFE-Brown Bear Project. He is currently a member of the board of DEPANA and track

Little and co-star Gene Wilder have great chemistry, and the delightful supporting cast includes Harvey Korman, Slim Pickens, and Madeline Kahn as a chanteuse modelled on Marlene Dietrich. As in Young Frankenstein (1974), Silent Movie (1976), and High Anxiety (1977), director/writer Mel Brooks gives a burlesque spin to a classic Hollywood movie genre; in his own manic, Borscht Belt way, Brooks was a central player in revising classic genres in light of Seventies values and attitudes, an effort most often associated with such directors as Robert Altman and Peter Bogdanovich . Some of this film's sequences, notably a gaseous bean dinner around a campfire, have become comedy classics. "blazing saddles","blazing saddles clip ...

Gene Wilder Interview with Bill Boggs
Gene Wilder (born Jerome Silberman; June 11, 1933) is an American stage and screen actor, director, screenwriter, author and activist. Wilder began his career on stage, making his screen debut in the TV series Armstrong Circle Theatre in 1962. His first major role was as Leopold Bloom in the 1968 film The Producers which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. This was the first in a series of collaborations with writer/director Mel Brooks, including 1974's Young Frankenstein, a script which garnered the pair an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Wilder is known for his portrayal of Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) and for his four films with Richard Pryor: Silver Streak (1976), Stir Crazy (1980), See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989), and Another You (1991). Wilder has directed and written several of his films, including The Woman in Red (1984). He was married to actress Gilda Radner. Her death from ovarian cancer led to his active involvement in promoting cancer awareness and treatment, helping found the Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Detection Center in Los Angeles and co-founding Gilda's Club.[1] Since his most recent contribution to acting in 2003, Wilder has turned his attention to writing, producing a memoir in 2005, Kiss Me Like A Stranger: My Search for Love and Art, and the novels My French Whore (2007), The Woman Who Wouldn't (2008), and What Is This Thing Called Love (2010). - Wikipedia
