Reconstruction of the Battle of Isandlwana.
Reconstruction of the Battle of Isandlwana.
Reconstruction of the Battle of Isandlwana (Zulu war) On 22nd January 1879, at the foot of a rocky crag called Isandlwana in Southern Africa, 20000 Zulu warriors, armed largely with shields and spears, inflicted on the British army the worst defeat of the Victorian era. Over 1300 British and allied troops were killed; when the battle was over, the grassy slopes of Isandlwana ran red with blood. It is this story that is told in the film ZULU, starring Michael Caine. This film tells too the story of the remarkable adventures of a group of British history enthusiasts (The Diehard Company) who, in January 1999 - 120 years on, set out to walk in the footsteps of history, and to re-enact the events at Isandlwana on the battlefield itself.

Empire Total War: Battle of Isandlwana
Empire Total War: Battle of Isandlwana
I decided to make another historical battle video. Enjoy! Also Subscribe! Biography: In the 1870's and 80's the British invaded the Zulu African States (Eastern South Africa). Scout parties spied on the zulu states to see their numbers and power. The british began sending armies in after most scout parties got back. One scout party of about 2000 men were still trapped in Zulu territory trying to get back to British territory as fast as they could. The entire zulu army of 20000 men caught up with them and tried to destroy them on the hills of Isandlwana. This battle shows their encounter.
