Cruising a Motorbike in Huizhou 惠州, China (HD 1080p Helmet-cam)
Words can't really describe what it's like riding a motorcycle in China. But I once said, "it's like playing Asteroids and the winner makes it home alive." Well, here's some footage I shot using a Panasonic HD mini-camcorder I mounted to the front of my helmet while driving around the city I live in. I ride everyday and there's never a dull moment, just complete awareness. Special thanks to Black Sabbath and Tony Iommi for one of the biggest monsters of a guitar riff ever in their song "Supernaut". Ride safe and enjoy.

Official in Huizhou at Guangdong using violence to force dem
Up next we have story of how forced demolition in China resulted in death. In Huizhou in Guangdong province, a local communist official was leading the demolition of farmer's pavillions outside tourist sites. The farmers had set up the pavillions hoping to sell some of their goods--the tourism development company had promised the locals a percentage of ticket sales when they moved into the area, but according to locals they were never actually compensated, so they turned to selling their vegetables as a way to make ends meet. A local official led a task force to destroy the farmer's pavillions on behalf of the tourism company. But the confrontation ended in his death. Although the incident happened on June 2, it took a week for any media to pick up the story. The "South Rural Newspaper" reported on June 11 that a local communist official, Deng Kaihua, was leading a task force of 80 people charged with demolishing farmer's pavillions outside four construction projects along the Zhukeng River. The area was developed by the Tourism Development Zone of Nankun Mountain. When the demolition team tried to force an elderly couple from Zhou Weilin out of their pavillion, family members rushed at the task force members with a machete, kitchen knives and shovels. Local official Deng Kaihua died after receiving a blow to the head. Zhous relatives claim they attacked because the elderly woman had been pushed to the ground and almost thrown into the river. The family had also demanded ...

Olympic flame touring Huizhou
Olympic flame touring Huizhou WATCH VIDEO Source: CCTV.com | 05-09-2008 12:50 Special Report: 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Following on the success of its Olympic Torch Relay Run in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the Olympic Flame for the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games is now touring Huizhou in China's southern province of Guangdong. A starting ceremony for the Beijing Olympics torch relay was held at Huizhou Stadium at eight o'clock on Friday morning. The stadium in the city of Huizhou, nicknamed "the city of the goose" was built in the shape of a goose. Huizhou is scheduled to hold a sports event at the provincial level in 2010. The first torchbearer was the local swimming champion, Chen Xiujun. She finished first in the women's two-hundred-meter backstroke at China's national games in 2001. Chen also took fourth place in the four-by-one hundred medley at the 2004 Athens Games. A total of 208 torchbearers take part in the Olympic Torch Relay. The relay route stretches nearly 31-kilometers long. It covers lake-encircling scenery, avenues, trees, and mountains -- displaying an overall scene of "half landscape and half lake" in the city. The event is scheduled to end at five o'clock in the afternoon. During the past 30 years of reform and opening-up, Huizhou has been an economic powerhouse in Guangdong. Manufacturing and research centers of world-famous brands, including General Electric, SONY, Samsung and Lenovo are all based in Huizhou. The city also boasts the world's largest ...

The Spring in the mountain area around the border between Anhui and Jiangxi provinces in China is the most beautiful season in a year. Green mountains, blue sky, white clouds, colorful flowers, clear creeks and special Huizhou buildings build a very beautiful picture. I have made a short movie with photos I took in the trip and I like to share with you, I hope you like it.

將進酒徽州屯溪話版本吳語拼音注音Huizhou Chinese pronunciation
Li Bai (Chinese: 李白; pinyin: Lǐ Bái, Lǐ Bó; 701 -- 762), also known as Li Po, among various other transliterations in the West, was a major Chinese poet of the Tang dynasty poetry period. He has been regarded as one of the greatest poets in China's Tang period, which is often called China's "golden age" of poetry. Around a thousand existing poems are attributed to him. Thirty-four of his poems are included in the popular anthology Three Hundred Tang Poems. In the area of Chinese cultural influence, Li Bai's poetry has been much esteemed from his lifetime through the present day. His influence also extends to the West through many translations, adaptations, and much inspiration. wengu.tartarie.com

Yin Yu Tang
Through this media-rich experience, Web site and kiosk users explore a 3-D house to discover a Chinese region’s renowned architecture and the generations of a family that made it their home.
Yin Yu Tang is an elegant, rural home originally located in a small, remote village in the southeastern region of Huizhou in China’s Anhui Province. Built in the late Qing dynasty (1644–1911) by a Chinese merchant surnamed Huang, the residence was home to the Huang family for over two hundred years. By the mid-1980s, all surviving Huang family members had moved away from their home which sat in silence until 1997, when the family and the government authorized the house to be transported across the world, to be opened to the public at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. Through this media-rich, interactive experience, Web site visitors and kiosk users can explore the house to discover this rare example of the region’s renowned architecture and learn about the daily life of the Huang family. The heart of the experience is comprised of five thematic sections that provide a unique lens through which the house can be examined, including Orientation, Construction, Ornamentation, Belongings, and Preservation. Content is segmented into distinct “scenes” within each theme; as visitors navigate between scenes, a persistent 3-D model view of Yin Yu Tang reacts to reveal different features of the house. A visual interactive family tree, dozens of audio interviews, hundreds of historical and contemporary photographs, and many videos are scattered throughout the experience to make this Chinese home “a living house.”
