Beth Jean Riesgraf (born August 24, 1978) is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Parker in the TNT TV series Leverage.^[1]

Originally from Belle Plaine, Minnesota,^[2] Riesgraf is the youngest of six girls.^[3] She attended Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, where she was student body president, senior prom queen, and a member of the photography club, was voted "Most Admired Senior," and graduated with honors.^{[citation needed]}

She was formerly engaged to the actor Jason Lee, with whom she has a son, Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf Lee (Born September 28 2003).^[4]

She appeared with Lee as the character Natalie Duckworth on the show My Name is Earl in 2005 and 2007 and in Alvin and The Chipmunks as a mother in the supermarket in 2007. In 2008, Riesgraf played the unnamed bride (presumed to be Cathrine) in the official music video for "Cath" by Death Cab for Cutie. Also in 2008, she became a co-star of the TV show Leverage.^[5]

Dean Devlin (born August 27, 1962) is an American screenwriter, producer, television director and former actor. He is the founder of the production company Electric Entertainment.

Devlin was born in New York City, the son of actress Pilar Seurat and Don Devlin, a writer, actor, and producer.^[1] His father was Jewish and his mother was Filipino.^[2] He is married to actress Lisa Brenner.

Devlin appeared as an actor on numerous television shows throughout the 1980s. He also appeared in films including My Bodyguard, The Wild Life, Real Genius and Martians Go Home. Due to his youthful appearance, Devlin often played teenage characters despite being in his 20s.

Devlin gradually began writing scripts. His first produced screenplay was for Universal Soldier which was a worldwide hit. He reached prominence as a writer/producer working alongside director Roland Emmerich with whom he teamed after appearing in Emmerich's film Moon 44. Together they cowrote and produced Stargate which became the first movie to have a web site (run by Devlin himself).^[3] The team then produced Independence Day and Godzilla. Their final collaboration was on the 2000 Mel Gibson film The Patriot, where Devlin met his future wife. Devlin has also produced Cellular, Who Killed the Electric Car?, and Flyboys. On October 12, 2009 Devlin's screenwriting partner Roland Emmerich confirmed that he and Devlin have written a script for a sequel to Independence Day, and that they are in contract negotiations with Will Smith. They have stated they do not want to make the sequel if Smith cannot return. On June 24, 2011, Devlin confirmed that he and Emmerich have found an idea for the sequel and have written a treatment for it.^[4]

Christian Kane (born June 27, 1974) is an American actor and singer/songwriter of Native American descent. He currently stars as Eliot Spencer on the TNT series Leverage. He is best known for his roles in the television shows Angel and Into the West, and the movies Just Married and Secondhand Lions.

He is the lead singer of the country-southern rock band Kane. On December 7, 2010 they released The House Rules, their third album and their debut for record label Bigger Picture Group. The album reached #25 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The first single from the album, also titled "The House Rules", debuted at #54 on the Billboard Country Songs chart. The second single, “Let Me Go”, was released on July 11, 2011.

Christian Kane was born in Dallas, Texas. He is of Native American descent^[1] and is a cousin of country singer Branden Hart.^[2] His parents participated in, and met at, the rodeo. The family moved around the South and Midwest because his father was in the oil business and finally settled in Norman, Oklahoma, when Kane was in 8th grade. While growing up in Texas and Oklahoma, Kane was a wrestler and played American Football (as a strong safety) .^[3] He studied Art History at the University of Oklahoma but decided he wanted to be an actor and headed to Los Angeles before finishing the degree.^[4] In LA, he worked at a talent management company where he delivered scripts in exchange for being sent on auditions.^[5]

Kane landed his first acting role in 1997 as one of the leads in MGM's television series Fame L.A.; in the series he played a country singer who moved to Los Angeles from Kansas. His television roles have included a recurring role in Joss Whedon’s Angel as the lawyer Lindsey MacDonald, the Jerry Bruckheimer produced series Close to Home on CBS, the TNT television film Crossfire Trail in which he appeared alongside Tom Selleck, and he played the role of Abe Wheeler in the Steven Spielberg produced miniseries Into the West.

Kane’s appearances on the big screen include the 20th Century Fox film Just Married and New Line Cinema's Secondhand Lions, as the younger version of Robert Duvall's Hub McCann, he has a scar on his upper lip from an injury he received while filming the movie.^[6] He also appeared in Taxi, Life or Something Like It, the Peter Berg directed Friday Night Lights, and the Warner Bros. baseball film Summer Catch.

In 2007, Kane was featured in the Carrie Underwood music video, "So Small", playing the role of one of the three converging stories.

In 2009, he appeared in the psychological thriller, Hide,^[7] in which he played the lead role of Billy, and The Donner Party which is based on the true story of the Donner Party.

In 2010, he starred in the romantic drama, Not Since You.^[8][9]

Since late 2008, Kane appears on the TNT television series Leverage, which will return for its fifth season next summer.^[10] Kane does his own stunts and fights^[1] as Eliot Spencer, a retrieval specialist who teams up with four other specialists to undo the injustices perpetrated upon the helpless.

In 1997, Christian Kane met Steve Carlson, who had taken over his old job. They started writing songs together, and in 1998, they formed the Southern rock band Kane. They have toured the U.S. as well as England and Germany. The band has self-released two albums, their self-titled debut, Kane, in 2000 and a recording of a live acoustic set, Acoustic Live In London! in 2004.^[11]

The band consists of Christian Kane (lead vocals, guitar), Steve Carlson (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Jason Southard (lead guitar), Will Amend (bass guitar), and Ryan Baker (drums) and is signed to independent record label Bigger Picture Group (Zac Brown Band, Big Kenny, The Harters). Their label debut, The House Rules, was released December 7, 2010. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers album chart and #25 on the Country Albums chart.^[12] The album was produced by Bob Ezrin and Jimmie Lee Sloas.^[13]

The first single from the album, also titled "The House Rules" debuted at #54 on the Billboard Country Songs chart^[14] and was the 7th most added song on Mediabase Country stations on its official impact date.^[13] The video for the single was directed by Timothy Hutton and premiered on CMT's Big New Music Weekend October 1, 2010.^[15] The second single, Let Me Go, was released on July 11, 2011. The video for the single was directed by Roman White, it premiered on CMT August 8, 2011 and reached #1 on their Today's Top Videos chart .^[16]

Christian Kane is also signed to a songwriting deal with EMI Music Publishing and writes much of his own material. Trace Adkins released a song written by Kane called "Happy Man" on his 2010 album, Cowboy's Back in Town.^[17]

Kane's co-writing efforts include songs written with Blair Daly, Brett James, David Lee Murphy, Casey Beathard, and Jerrod Niemann.^[18] "Thinking of You", a song he co-wrote with Blair Daly, featured in episode 3X06, "The Studio Job", of Leverage.^[4][19]
