Moriscos 1 تاريخ الموريسكيين مع الباحثة أديبة روميرو
An interview in Arabic language with Adiba Romero, a Spanish researcher who talks about the Moriscos in Spain's past and present, and how they recently discovered their origins. A Morisco (in Spanish) or Mourisco (in Portuguese), meaning "Moor-like", was a converted (converso) Catholic inhabitant of Spain and Portugal of Muslim heritage. Over time the term was used in a pejorative sense applied to those nominal converso Catholics who were suspected of secretly practicing Islam (crypto-Muslim). In the medieval period al-Andalus Muslims who had come under Iberian Christian rule, as a result of the incremental Reconquista, were known as Mudéjars. There was a tolerance with discrimination, although with treatment as inferiors from Catholic authorities. The victory of the Catholic Monarchs in the Battle of Granada in 1492 ended the last Islamic rule and al-Andalus territory on the Iberian peninsula. The pre-established Treaty of Granada (1491) guaranteed religious and cultural freedoms for Muslims and Jews in the imminent transition from Emirate of Granada to Province of Castile. The Alhambra Decree (1492) promptly rescinded the Jews' rights, expelling both the observant and the conversos suspected of secretly practicing Judaism (crypto-Judaism) called Marranos. The Decree set a precedent for upcoming persecution and later expulsion of Muslims and Moriscos. Moriscos: en.wikipedia.org

Annus Mirabilis
Spanish chroniclers called it "The Year of Wonders" It saw the fall of Granada, the election of a Spanish Pope, the foundation of the modern Spanish language and the discovery of the New World. For others like Spain's Jews and the Moors it was a year of dread. Nevertheless this year marked the beginning of modern Spain and Spanish rise to global power. The year 1492.

Secret Files of the Inquisition Pt4 The End Of Inquisition
The Inquisition was abolished during the domination of Napoleon and the reign of Joseph Bonaparte (1808--1812). In 1813, the liberal deputies of the Cortes of Cádiz also obtained its abolition, largely as a result of the Holy Office's condemnation of the popular revolt against French invasion. But the Inquisition was reconstituted when Ferdinand VII recovered the throne on July 1, 1814. It was again abolished during the three year Liberal interlude known as the Trienio liberal. Later, during the period known as the Ominous Decade, the Inquisition was not formally re-established, although, de facto, it returned under the so-called Meetings of Faith, tolerated in the dioceses by King Ferdinand. These had the dubious honour of executing the last heretic condemned, the school teacher Cayetano Ripoll, garroted in Valencia on July 26, 1826 (presumably for having taught deist principles), all amongst a European-wide scandal at the despotic attitude still prevailing in Spain. Juan Antonio Llorente, who had been the Inquisition's general secretary in 1789, became a Bonapartist and published a critical history in 1817 from his French exile, based on his privileged access to its archives. The Inquisition was definitively abolished on July 15, 1834, by a Royal Decree signed by regent Maria Christina of the Two Sicilies, Ferdinand VII's liberal widow, during the minority of Isabella II and with the approval of the President of the Cabinet Francisco Martínez de la Rosa. The Most Evil Christians in History Tomas de Torquemada
this christian murdered millions of muslims , and jews, forced countless more to become xtians, or they and their kids were brutally killed, he was sent by the church. these vermin act like innocents, always accusing islam of filth they do themselves, xtians think all people are vermin , cos they think all people are like them. these xtian bastards murdered and forced millions for 600YEARS, 75million killed, they never mention the shit of christianity. Tomas de Torquemada acquired a reputation as an especially cruel and zealous persecutor of alleged crypto-Jews and crypto-Muslims of Spain; his efforts were largely responsible for the Alhambra Decree, which expelled the Jews from Spain in 1492.

Immortal Technique - Harlem Renaissance (Prod by DJ Green Lantern)
Track 4 from "The 3rd World" The 3rd World is an album/mixtape by rapper Immortal Technique, following a five-year absence since Revolutionary Vol. 2. It was released on June 24th, 2008, on Viper Records. The 3rd World debuted at #99 on the Billboard 200 charts. Twitter: "Immortal Technique - Over 50000 sold. Thank you all. 2:55 AM Jan 31st 2009" "The few that choose to talk about the subjects that usually get swept under the preverbal rug do so in a manner that is bound to get your attention in one way or another—but no one attacks the plight of the unheard with the ferocity as Immortal Technique does. The radical revolutionary rapper has been righting the wrongs with his lyricism for almost a decade, and now returns with his third album, The 3rd World. With the help of DJ Green Lantern, the activist MC fills the CD with political injustices that basically affects everyone whether youre living in America or a country that doesnt have the basic necessities like running water." Amsterdam - Sinagoga israelo-portoghese
The Jews were expelled en masse from Spain in 1492 by the Alhambra decree. Many who fled to Portugal were forced to convert to Catholicism in 1496, while the other Jews were expelled from Portugal in 1497. For hundreds of years, the Inquisition continued to investigate the converts and their descendants on suspicions that in secret they still practiced Judaism (see Crypto-Judaism, Marrano). Some of those who wished to enjoy a freedom of religion found refuge in Amsterdam. During a substantial migration that took place in the 17th century, these Jewish refugees from the Iberian peninsula called themselves Portuguese Jews to avoid being identified with Spain, which was at war with the Dutch Republic at the time (see Eighty Years' War).

Maulana Tariq Jameel Bayan at FAST University 2012
Join us at Facebook Maulana Tariq Jameel (Official Page) : www.facebook.com Maulana Tariq Jameel Fan page : www.facebook.com Tablighi jamat 6 numbers Six Principles The method adopted by Muhammad Ilyas was simple. It was to organize units (called jamaats, Arabic: جماعتِ meaning Assembly) of at least ten persons and send them to various villages. This unit jamaat, would visit a village, invite the local Muslims only to assemble in the mosque and present their message in the form of Six Principles. Muhammad Ilyas articulated six demands in the form of Six Principles which are quintessential to Tabligh Jamaat's teachings. These six principles are: 1. Kalmah: An article of faith in which the tablighi accepts that there is no god but Allah and the Prophet Muhammad is His Last messenger". Yet it is not as simple as proclaiming tawheed, rather it also has to do with having conviction that every single thing is done by the will of Allah. Moreover, the fact that not a leaf can fall from the tree yet it has been decreed by Allah. The means of bringing this conviction in one's life requires one to follow the Sunnah (way) of the Prophet Muhammad (May Peace Be Upon Him). 2. Salah: "Five daily prayers that are essential to spiritual elevation, piety, and a life free from the ills of the material world" The notion that through one's salah, one can directly attain from the treasures of Allah (SWT). However it is not simply praying salah, but praying it in the manner of the Prophet ...

Spanish Inquisition -The Edict of Expulsion of the Jews.
The Spanish Inquisition on March 31, 1492 was one of the saddest days in history. Ferdinand and Isabella signed an edict to remove all the Jews from Spain. This was in direct objection to scripture, as Paul said so well, "Dear friends, my greatest wish and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved" Romans 10:1. History began to repeat itself again.... A state church was established and the Jewish people as well as all unbelievers in the state church where rounded up and tortured. The top down dictation of religion was enforced. We know as Christians a morality must come from the heart, not from rulers, through force. Not everything done under the name of Christianity is Christian. We need to read his word and love others, not persecute. Change comes from the heart, bottom up, not top down.
