As a result they are now looking at possibly having to close or transfer ownership of some of their parks in order to fit into the new budget they've been given. Are these feasible suggestions on how to deal with the shortfall in State Parks? Terry Wood checks in with commissioners in some of the rural areas that would be greatly affected to find out.

Marshall County, Alabama [HD]
This video follows US 431 northbound through the Alabama cities of Boaz, Albertville and Guntersville, county seat of Marshall County. All of these cities are in the north Alabama county of Marshall, which is just southwest of Madison County, of which Huntsville is the county seat. This was an interesting drive, to say the least; especially with all of the left lane hogs/slowpokes that I encountered. *sigh*

Barnesville, Georgia
I'm driving through Barnesville, Georgia, along Old US 41 and US 41. US 41 was re-routed along a truck bypass on the southside of Barnesville, to keep thru trucks out of Downtown Barnesville. Old US .41 was turned back over to local maintenance. US 341 was truncated to the US 41 truck bypass. Barnesville is home to a two-year institution -- Gordon College (est. 1852; enrollment: 3703). Lamar County, of which Barnesville is the county seat, is one of the counties in Metro Atlanta, surprisingly enough. It's just south of Spalding County, separated to the north by Pike County.

Clearwater Beach Florida, Pier 60, Pinellas County, Spring Break (pinellasadventures.com) "Best"
Clearwater Beach Florida One of the most popular beaches in the Country. Clearwater Beach Florida Present-day Clearwater was originally the home of the Tocobaga people. Around 1835, the United States Army began construction of Fort Harrison, named after William Henry Harrison, as an outpost during the Seminole Wars. The fort was located on a bluff overlooking Clearwater Harbor, which later became part of an early 20th century residential development called Harbor Oaks. University of South Florida archaeologists excavated the site in 1977 after Alfred C. Wyllie discovered an underground ammunition bunker while digging a swimming pool on his estate. The area's population grew after the Federal Armed Occupation Act of 1842 offered 160 acres (0.65 km2) to anyone who would bear arms and cultivate the land. Early settlers included the Stevens, Stevenson and McMullen families, who claimed and farmed large tracts of land. Prior to 1906, the area was known as Clear Water Harbor. The name "Clear Water" is thought to have come from a fresh water spring flowing from near where the City Hall building is located today. There were many other freshwater springs that dotted the bluff, many in the bay or harbor itself. View north from Sand Key toward Clearwater Beach Originally part of Hillsborough County, the first road joining Clearwater and Tampa was built in 1849, which dramatically reduced the prior day-long commute between the cities. During the American Civil War, Union gunboats ...
