ES Posthumus - Pompeii
1M+ Views??!?!?!?!? Thanks Guys! Album: Unearthed ES Posthumus is an independent music group that produces cinematic style music. It is a form of epic classical that fuses intertwined drum beats with orchestral and electronic sounds. Their music is inspired by the Pythagorean Philosophy which states that "music is the harmonization of opposites; the conciliation of warring elements". The ES is an acronym for "Experimental Sounds" while Posthumus is a word that represents "all things past". According to the group, ES Posthumus was formed in 2000 by brothers Helmut and Franz Vonlichten. Helmut and Franz studied piano with their mother. After graduating from high school, Franz worked in recording studios while Helmut attended and graduated from UCLA, with a degree in archaeology. ES Posthumus' music has been licensed by many movie and television production studios; being included in numerous movie trailers and television shows. For instance, the song "Posthumus Zone" was composed for the CBS Sports TV programs The NFL Today and The NFL on CBS. ES Posthumus have so far released two albums.

Pompeii _ Life and Death in a Roman Town
www.independent.co.uk Pompeii: one of the most famous volcanic eruptions in history. We know how its victims died, but this film sets out to answer another question - how did they live? Gleaning evidence from an extraordinary find, Cambridge professor and Pompeii expert Mary Beard provides new insight into the lives of the people who lived in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius before its cataclysmic eruption. In a dark cellar in Oplontis, just three miles from the centre of Pompeii, 54 skeletons who didn't succumb to the torrent of volcanic ash are about to be put under the microscope. The remains will be submitted to a barrage of tests that will unlock one of the most comprehensive scientific snapshots of Pompeian life ever produced - and there are some big surprises in store. Using the latest forensic techniques it is now possible to determine what those who perished in the disaster ate and drank, where they came from, what diseases they suffered, how rich they were, and perhaps, even more astonishingly, the details of their sex lives. The way the remains were found in the cellar already provides an invaluable clue about the lives of the people they belonged to. On one side of the room were individuals buried with one of the most stunning hauls of gold, jewellery and coins ever found in Pompeii. On the other, were people buried with nothing. It looked the stark dividing line of a polarised ancient society: a room partitioned between super rich and abject poor. But on closer ...

POMPEII Italy
On August 24th in 79 AD, a massive volcanic eruption destroyed the Roman city of Pompeii when millions of tons of lava instantly petrified the bodies of 2000 of its inhabitants. Pompeii is the incarnation of a civilization that was destroyed by this natural disaster. Some of its underground corridors were accidentally discovered in 1594 but serious scientific excavation did not begin until the 18th century. Even today, more than one third of the city remains concealed beneath volcanic rock. Because of the airtight conditions beneath the lava, Pompeii is the most well preserved ancient city in the world with perfectly preserved streets and buildings that provide detailed information of the former living conditions, trade, commerce and art of Roman times. The lively city attempted to compete with Rome and offered its visitors and guests abundant luxury, diverse entertainments and the interiors of the buildings, with their magnificent reliefs, indicate the wealth and high living standards of Pompeii's elite.

Pompeii - Buried Alive
Two-thousand years ago, Rome was an all-powerful empire and Pompeii was one of its prosperous provincial towns-until Mount Vesuvius exploded in the largest eruption ever recorded. In a matter of hours the thriving city was entombed under a thick layer of ash and debris, undiscovered for centuries.

Pink Floyd - Echoes / Live at Pompeii ( full )
These are the two parts of ''Echoes'' ,at the Pompeii , in one video .. 24'06'' Enjoy :-) "Echoes" Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves The echo of a distant tide Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine And no one showed us to the land And no one knows the where's or why's But something stirs and something tries And starts to climb towards the light Strangers passing in the street By chance two separate glances meet And I am you and what I see is me And do I take you by the hand And lead you through the land And help me understand the best I can And no one calls us to move on And no one forces down our eyes And no one speaks And no one tries And no one flies around the sun Cloudless every day you fall Upon my waking eyes Inviting and inciting me to rise And through the window in the wall Comes streaming in on sunlight wings A million bright ambassadors of morning And no one sings me lullabies And no one makes me close my eyes So I tore the windows wide And call to you across the sky.

Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii - Director's cut
Directed by Adrian Maben Produced by Steve O'Rourke, Michele Arnaud, Reiner Moritz Starring Pink Floyd Music by Pink Floyd Cinematography Willy Kurant, Gabor Pogany Editing by Jose Pinheiro Distributed by Universal Home Video Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii is a 1972 film featuring Pink Floyd performing six songs in the ancient Roman amphitheatre in Pompeii, Italy. It was directed by Adrian Maben and recorded in the month of October with 24 studio-quality tracks without a live audience. The performances of "Echoes," "A Saucerful of Secrets," and "One of These Days" were filmed from October 4, 1971 to October 7, 1971. The remaining songs were filmed in a Paris studio, along with additional front projection footage for insertion into the Pompeii performances. The sequences in Paris were filmed in late 1971/early 1972, and can be distinguished by the absence of Richard Wright's beard. This version was released in cinemas in September 1972 and is also included on the DVD edition as an extra feature. In August 1974, another version was released combining the original film with supposed recording sessions of The Dark Side of the Moon at Abbey Road Studios. These sessions were actually staged for the film[citation needed], as the recording of the album had been completed when these sessions were filmed in January 1973 and the band was mixing the album at the time. Track listing - 2003 Director's cut 02:13 1. "Echoes, Part 1"/"On the Run" (Studio Footage) (Uncredited) (from Meddle ...

PERISHED NATIONS(The End of Pompeii )Islamic Documentry
Throughout world history, a great many very different civilisations have grown up, ruled for a while, and then faded away when their time came. Despite all their power and wealth, they disappeared off the face of the earth. In this film, we shall be examining past societies that were destroyed because of their rebellion against Allah, such as People of Ad, People of Lut and the end of Pompeii
