Nurhachi; 21 February 1559 – 30 September 1626) was an important Jurchen chieftain who rose to prominence in the late sixteenth century in Manchuria. Nurhaci was part of the Aisin Gioro clan, and reigned from 1616 to his death in September 1626.
Nurhaci reorganized and united various Jurchen tribes (the later "Manchu"), consolidated the Eight Banners military system, and eventually launched an assault on the Ming China and Korea's Joseon Dynasty. His conquest of China's northeastern Liaoning province laid the groundwork for the conquest of the rest of China by his descendants, who would go on to found the Qing Dynasty in 1644

These are two 1-ounce silver coins from the Ch'ing Dynasty of China, circa 1860s. Silver coins from that time period are in some estimates 90% silver, and when gently tapped rim against rim certainly produce a noise that sounds like that of silver vibrating.
The Ch'ing Dynasty started in 1644 and lasted until 1912. It was the last dynasty in Chinese history. The man depicted on the face of the coins is Emperor Tung-Chih. The Ch'ing, or Manchus, were a race distinct from the Han Chinese who comprise 90% of "Chinese" as we know today. The Manchus came from what is now Northeastern China. The Jurchen leader of the Aisin Gioro clan, Nurhachi, began united the Jurchen clans and his son, Hong Taiji, claimed that they were unified as a singular entity known as the Manchus. The Manchus began invading the rest of China and eventually took in over within a few decades, aided by chaos and betrayal within the Ming army and government. The Manchus eventually established an empire larger than had ever been achieved by the Chinese at any time, before or after the Ch'ing Dynasty, at the height of their power, but started to crumble in the century these coins were made.
Tung-Chih Emperor was the son of Empress Dowager Tz'u-Shi. The Empress Dowagers of the Ch'ing Dynasty often had incredible power within the imperial court. Tung-Chih was crowned Emperor at age 5 and died at age 18 from disease, most likely smallpox. His name in Chinese means "to rule together," meaning his mother Tz'u-Shi really wielded the power behind the curtains while her son was the male figurehead.
Someday I hope one of my viewers will be able to help me identify more about the legitimacy and worth of these coins. Some people make the assumption that silver coins are worth basically their mass in silver times the going spot price for silver! Any precious metal coin, especially an antique, that is no longer in production or circulation is worth many times over its base worth in metal due to its status as a historical artifact and work of art.

= Some USA people are from Mexico. Does it mean that Mexican history is necessarily (United States of) American history (besides Albuquerque and San Diego)?
3. "China is not just Han ethnics!": Chinese means 56 ethnics (no longer a "race"- now it's a "nationality"!)
= "US people" includes a lot of ethnics, so can all world history become USA history?
= Russian, Uzbek, Mongolian, and Korean are included in the 56 Chinese ethnics. So, Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Korea are all part of Chinese history? Really?

This is no joke- the CCP seriously claims that Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan were "Chinese", and China has included Genghis Khan as a "Chinese" national hero!
Why should we care about Chinese history distortion? Because China is using the distorted history to justify its occupation of Tibet, East Turkestan, and Manchuria, and as a possible pretext to grab more surrounding territory.
So if China invades Mongolia/Монгол and Taiwan, it is not an invasion but "reunification" to Chinese- they were brainwashed by this distorted history. China can invade even Central, South, & Southeast Asian countries for "reunification" due to their new claims to the Mongolian Empire.

For example, my family, according to my family record, has changed our family name after the name of the province which our family forefather was appointed to the governor for and he served in, branching off from his family line during the Joseon dynasty. These are two 1-ounce silver coins from the Ch'ing Dynasty of China, circa 1860s. Silver coins from that time period are in some estimates 90% silver, and when gently tapped rim against rim certainly produce a noise that sounds like that of silver vibrating. His name in Chinese means "to rule together," meaning his mother Tz'u-Shi really wielded the power behind the curtains while her son was the male figurehead.
Someday I hope one of my viewers will be able to help me identify more about the legitimacy and worth of these coins. Some people make the assumption that silver coins are worth basically their mass in silver times the going spot price for silver! Any precious metal coin, especially an antique, that is no longer in production or circulation is worth many times over its base worth in metal due to its status as a historical artifact and work of art.
