Ranpur

It has population of around 25,000, containing both Muslims and Hindus. Ranpur is also known for its "unity" between community. Hindus and Muslims celebrate all festivals together.

Major sources of income in the village include engineering industries, diamond polishing and farming. Bearing industries are also historically associated with Ranpur. Currently Texspin and RMP Bearings are leading industries of the village. These are leading Ball Bearing and York Manufacturing Companies in India. Now it has become a Taluka of Ahmedabad dist.

In this town there is 30 bed Govt. Health Centre has a facility of well air conditioned labour room for the delivery, and air conditioned operating theatre where family planning operations and minor surgery are carried out. All patients get pure R.O. water. Ambulance facility. Every Monday and Thursday Eye checkup facility available. On every Wednesday gynaecologist and paediatrician facility available.

There is one Polytechnique name as N.M. Gopani which has more than 2000 diploma students.

Devang Rathod & Miten Makwana are from Ranpur and both are in United Kingdom for Higher Studies in Forensic Investigation and Business Strategies respectively. Their friends Bunty, Sanjay and Gopal Soni are in Ranpur doing their own business in their field. These five friends were enjoyed lot when they all were together in the Town. But Now they have been separated and each one is busy in his own. They are supposed to be future leaders for Hindu Community and Zalawadi Sai Sutar Samaj.
