The Tallest Man On Earth - The Gardener (Good Quality)
I sense a runner in the garden Although my judgements known to fail Once built a steamboat in a meadow Cos I'd forgotten how to sail I know the runner's going to tell you There ain't no cowboy in my hair So now he's buried by the daisies So I could stay the tallest man in your eyes, babe I sense a spy up in the chimney From all the evidence I've burned I guess he'll read it in the smoke now And soon to ashes I'll return I know the spy is going to tell you It's not my flag up in the pole So now he's buried by the lilies So I could stay forever more in your eyes, babe I sense a leak inside my phone now From all the lies I have told I know he has your private number And soon he'll make that vicious call I know the leak is going to tell you There ain't now puppy in your leash So now he'll fertilize the roses So I could stay the king you see In your eyes, babe (x2) So now we're dancing through the garden And what a garden I have made And now that death will grow my jasmine I find it soothing I'm afraid Now there is no need for suspicion There ain't no frog kissing your hand I won't be lying when I tell you That I'm a gardner I'm a man In your eyes babe (x3)

Howard Gardner: Five Minds for the Future / Ross Institute Summer Academy 2007
Howard Gardner, renowned education expert and one of Ross School's founding mentors, presents the five kinds of minds—ways of thinking and acting—critical for success in the rapidly changing environment of the 21st century. These include the disciplined, synthesizing and creative minds which are all related to intellect, as well as the respectful and ethical minds which emphasize character. Gardner describes what it means for students and citizens of the world to exhibit these types of minds and contends that without these minds, we risk being overwhelmed by information, unable to succeed in the workplace and incapable of the judgment needed to thrive both personally and professionally. Gardner is John H. and Elisabeth A. Hobbs Professor of Cognition and Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is also Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Harvard University and Senior Director of Harvard Project Zero. Over the last two decades Gardner has been involved in the design of performance-based assessments; education for understanding; the use of multiple intelligences to achieve more personalized curriculum, instruction and pedagogy; and the quality of interdisciplinary efforts in education. The Maestro
A destitute man, living on city streets liberates a device and escapes to a symphony of light and sound.
The idea came about by wanting to play with timelapse as a way of showing different realities. The Maestro obviously sees things differently than most people and by working the timelapse effect into the narrative, it allows us to see the world from his point of view.
The Maestro was shot in Sydney, Australia with a crew of four people on the Canon 5D Mark II using only available light. The visual effects featured were all shot in-camera and later composited in post.

A Day in the Life of a Fire Lookout.
The video documents the (usually) very peaceful life of a fire lookout in the Gardner Lookout on the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California. I've been a Marin County Fire Department volunteer lookout for two years and deeply love the mountain and the peace it brings to us here in the Bay Area. Perhaps this 6-minute video will convey some of the emotions I feel when sitting (and sleeping) on her peak.
All timelapse editing done in Lightroom4 and LR Timelapse2.
