Voiceovers are a bit loud, only realised as it was rendering that my headphone volume had been turned way down low, d'oh.
Endless love to Willow and Tara - all these years later, their story is just as important and beautiful. And I am forever grateful to Alyson and Amber for how they brought their love story to life!
This is a happy video for them, which is rare - I didn't wanna focus on fights, or break ups, or death. I wanted to focus on their love for one another, and I hope I did that.

Tara Maclay
Tara Maclay is a fictional character created for the action-horror/fantasy television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003). She was developed by Joss Whedon and portrayed by Amber Benson. Tara is a shy young woman with magical talents who falls in love with Willow Rosenberg, one of the core characters. Together, they help Buffy Summers, who has been given superhuman powers to defeat evil forces in the fictional town of Sunnydale.
Willow was a popular character when Tara was introduced, and the onset of their relationship was met with some resistance from fans. Tara grows from a reserved girl who is unsure of herself to being the moral center of Buffy's circle of friends, named the Scooby Gang. Her relationship with Willow is consistently positive, and the first recurring depiction of a lesbian couple on prime time network series television in the United States. Tara is killed by a stray gunshot toward the end of the sixth season, causing Willow to go on a rampage. Series writers and producers received angry protests from some fans when Tara was killed, including accusations of homophobia. Whedon upheld that it was the necessary course to take to propel Willow's story arc further; both the show's producers and Amber Benson deny that there was any malicious intent behind the decision. Tara was included in AfterEllen.com's Top 50 Lesbian and Bisexual Characters, ranking at No. 15.

Willow
Willows, also called sallows, and osiers, form the genus Salix, around 400 species of deciduous trees and shrubs, found primarily on moist soils in cold and temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Most species are known as willow, but some narrow-leaved shrub species are called osier, and some broader-leaved species are referred to as sallow (from Old English sealh, related to the Latin word salix, willow). Some willows (particularly arctic and alpine species) are low-growing or creeping shrubs; for example, the dwarf willow (Salix herbacea) rarely exceeds 6 cm (2.4 in) in height, though it spreads widely across the ground.
Description
Willows all have abundant watery bark sap, which is heavily charged with salicylic acid, soft, usually pliant, tough wood, slender branches, and large, fibrous, often stoloniferous roots. The roots are remarkable for their toughness, size, and tenacity to life, and roots readily grow from aerial parts of the plant.
The leaves are typically elongated, but may also be round to oval, frequently with serrated edges. Most species are deciduous; semievergreen willows; coriaceous leaves are rare, e.g. Salix micans and S. australior in the eastern Mediterranean. All the buds are lateral; no absolutely terminal bud is ever formed. The buds are covered by a single scale. Usually, the bud scale is fused into a cap-like shape, but in some species it wraps around and the edges overlap. The leaves are simple, feather-veined, and typically linear-lanceolate. Usually they are serrate, rounded at base, acute or acuminate. The leaf petioles are short, the stipules often very conspicuous, resembling tiny, round leaves, and sometimes remaining for half the summer. On some species, however, they are small, inconspicuous, and caducous (soon falling). In color, the leaves show a great variety of greens, ranging from yellowish to bluish.

Vampire hunter
A vampire hunter or vampire slayer is a character in folklore and fiction who specializes in finding and destroying vampires, and sometimes other supernatural creatures. A vampire hunter is usually described as having extensive knowledge of vampires and other monstrous creatures, including their powers and weaknesses, and uses this knowledge to effectively combat them. In many works, vampire hunters are simply humans with more than average knowledge about the occult, while in others they are themselves supernatural beings, having superhuman abilities. A well known and influential vampire hunter is Professor Abraham Van Helsing, a character in Bram Stoker's 1897 horror novel, Dracula.

All The Way(Buffy 6x06): Tara finally shows her opinion and concern about the Willow's use of magic , they have a big fight, and Willow casts a memory spell on in Tara. Once More, with Feeling(Buffy 6x07): Tara sings how much she loves Willow and discovers in this episode about the fact that Willow have used the memory of spell on her. Tabula Rasa(Buffy 6x08): Tara proposes that Willow stay without a spell for a week, but she immediately violates the combined and casts the spell on in Tara, who just backfires and leaves everyone without memory. Even without their memories, both show themselves attracted by the other, Tara finds out at the end about the spell and leaves Willow. Smashed(Buffy 6x09): Even being separated from Willow, Tara still shows how much she cares with Dawn and continues meeting with her. Dead Things(Buffy 6x13): Tara helps Buffy and again comforts her being the first to know about Spuffy. Older and Far Away(Buffy 6x14): Tara shows how she has evolved and turned into a strong woman, protecting Buffy of investees by Spike, she also demonstrates tha she still be in love with Willow and protects her when everyone wants to oblige her to do a spell. Hell's Bells(Buffy 6x16): Tara and Willow start to drawn close again. Normal Again(Buffy 6x17): Tara and Willow continue to draw closer again. Entropy(Buffy 6x18): Tara and Willow return to dating. Surprise and Fear
Everyone you’ve ever met has come into the world screaming in fear. Surprise and fear for any Monty Python fans out there. They say the world is a stage… ALL of you, used this scream as your first line in the play. Fear passed down from our ancestors is a tool to survive. In technology, we would call this first scream the “alpha prototype” of fear. Let’s say the rest of the world were granted superman type vision, except for… this table, would you fear that scenario? Lose your competitive edge? Your social empathy? Future shock is the dizzying disorientation brought on by premature arrival of the future. You’re welcome.
Today, a good safe distance from your trauma of birth, lets inspect another fascinating tool that is a great counter weight to fear. That tool is called Augmented Reality. This is the intelligent overlay of data on the real world. A mix of atoms and bits. Audio visual serendipity. Semantic context. Some call it media, some an experience, some call it a super power… a human evolution – is it “survival of the fittest” or with shared data can we call it a co-operative evolution “survival of the nicest”? Some already talk about smartphones as prosthetics for their brain. Multiply that.
One of Steve Jobs favorite stories as some of you may know, is of the Scientific Journal’s comparison of locomotive speed amongst animals. Over 1km, humans were a third the way down, however humans on bike, came way out on top. From here, he encouraged people to think of computers as the bicycles of the mind. Well if that’s the case, AR is the motorcycle of the mind and there’s some handy neuroscience to explain why.
Before this, lets note a trend: there is a pattern as we’ve emerged from cinema, TV, PC and mobile – the screens are getting smaller, more personalized and closer to the eye. Generally most media is now consumed on mobile, cranking the top our necks down to look at thumbnail screens in an anti-social ritual. Reaching into our pockets 150x a day on average, disconnecting with the immediate world. Is there a better way?
Yes. With Augmented Reality (AR) instead of having to look down we see the world through our camera. It allows us to be more conscious and connected with the real world, with graphics to enhance our focus, and be in the moment. It allows us an infinite array of layers to reinterpret the world. Indeed the world is a stage now.
Through Augmented Reality we can imagine looking at the financial world, patterns and forecasts through the eyes of Peter Costello, or indeed seeing a storyline from Tara Moss play out throughout the city in a location based hologram narrative, or maybe Keith Suter illustrates international intelligence movements on a 3D holographic Earth which you can interact with. The fact is visual experiences have old brain “priority mail”.
Lets take an example of a furniture catalogue delivered to more than 230million homes around the world. Some claim this was the most downloaded app in 2013.
Impressive hey. It’s about the interface. Lets think of PC and Laptop. These two early notions of computing served the metaphors for the calculator and the function of the typewriter. Via a WIMP. Windows, Icons, Mouse, Pointer.
These are mass production unintuitive devices. We reverse engineer our tools, retro fit our skills and often have to painfully acquire new skills just to get the job done. Is it any wonder why we have so many laggards, technophobes, naysayers.
Augmented Reality (AR) moves us away from WIMPS to interface with People, Environment, Icons, Gestures and Natural field of view. The design of storytelling in AR looks to nature, the laws of physics and neuroscience. This is about making computers human literate instead of forcing humans to be computer literate.
“But it’s a solution looking for a problem” they said in the beginning. That statement would make complete sense if you ignored increased human productivity and safety by 30-50%, even saving lives, it gives more meaningful and extensive public relations, studies showing higher propensity to buy by 35% and greater perceived prices by 33% (maybe not good for super savings sorry). Augmented Reality is a solution looking for funding and is about to make a dent on the world economy.
