K Lite Codec Pack - Download and Install the latest Codec Pack for your PC.
So your not able to play that Video File that you want to play on your favorite media player or maybe you can't play that favorite or specific media file on the Media Player that you just built and designed in VB.NET. Here's Your Answer. K Lite Web Site www.free-codecs.com Download K Lite Codec Pack 5.7.0 FULL www.free-codecs.com Here's the message that you will probably get if your trying to play an AVI Video File with Windows Media Player for the First Time. Windows Media Player ERROR : Image rabidpaladin.com Windows Media Player ERROR : The Message Windows Media Player Cannot Play The File. The player Might Not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. Welp, you just spent $700++ on a brand new Laptop with Microsoft Windows Vista Pre Installed, and you can't play any media files because the only media player that came with the Operating System doesn't have the latest Codecs on it, and I don't have Internet access. Get rid of codec-c / codec-v plugin ad
How to get rid of the 'missing plugin' notices to install the code-c or codec-v plugins. FASTER METHOD: Instead of ctrl+shift+I to bring up the developer tools and then using the magnifying glass you can just right click on the video and then click inspect element. OTHER BROWSERS: (NOTE: Will not work on filebox) (Instructions are almost the same) * Firefox - Install the firebug extension and then use 'inspect element with Firebug' on the video frame See www.youtube.com If still stuck * Safari - In preferences under 'advanced' check the 'developer tools' box and then use 'inspect element' on the video frame * Opera - Use 'inspect element' on the video frame IF THIS DOESN'T WORK (eg On Veehd & DaClips): Follow the steps BEFORE you click play on the video, use the search bar on the right to find the code reading "cblocker" (Credit to @Juxxize & @AxisLearning for noticing) IF THIS STILL DOESN'T WORK and you have watched the entire video, read the description and attempted the fix twice! please comment and let me know which browser you are using and what site you are on, there may be some sites it won't work for that we haven't discovered yet. These are the sites I know it works for: - Filebox (Only on chrome (and maybe safari?)) - GorrilaVid, OvFile - Veehd, DaClips (using the extra instructions as above) If you find any more that work let me know :)

How to increase the Canon 7D dynamic range (Tutorial)
Tutorial on how to use picture styles to increase the dynamic range of the Canon 7D / 5DMkII.
Custom picture styles are an amazing feature that almost compensate for the lack of a raw codec for video capture on the Canon DSLRS. The default picture styles on the camera are geard towards producing nice results out of the box but are not very good if you intend to do color correction and grading in postprocessing. This tutorial shows how to use custom picture styles that produce very flat, high dynamic range footage (similar to real film cameras).
The actual picture styles have been made by other people, and here are some references:
Super Flat, Genesis Panalog and Velvia:
http://www.cinema5d.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t;=3401
Marvel's Cine Style:
http://marvelsfilm.wordpress.com/2009/10/19/canon-7d-picture-style-with-cine-gamma-s-curve-free-download/
If you have problems downloading them, you can get them from here in one package (http://www.crnkovic.org/video/picture_styles.zip). I do however recommend that you get them from the original sources and read the forum posts/blog posts associated with them.
The final example footage was shot handheld (Zacuto rapid fire + zfinder) at Skogskyrkogården cemetery in Stockholm. I scouted the place for a possible future shoot and the footage I shot was never meant for release - it did however come handy in this tutorial as it was all shot using the super flat picture style.

My life as a filmmaker has blessed me with the privilege of seeing some of the most surreal and timeless places on the planet. These images of our Sacred Earth set to music are my way of sharing some of the magic I've experienced along the way...
"Terra Sacra" ~ Latin for Sacred Earth.
Terra Sacra Time Lapses is a short film featuring remote landscapes and ancient monuments from around the globe. These images were photographed during my assignments and personal travels between 2006-2012.
I've combined my favourite shots from these trips into non-narrative film that touches on a theme close to my heart: Sacred Earth.
The visuals are driven by an original score by composer Roy Milner (roymilner.com). The six-minute film is a journey through three distinct Acts: (I) Primordial Earth (II) Past meets Present and (III) Eternal Universe.
This film is a personal project to share the beauty and awe I witnessed at these locations. I hope viewers will be moved by the intangible power of our Terra Sacra.
THANKS TO:
Endless thanks to Art Wolfe for hiring me to as the cinematographer for the public television series Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge and taking me to the ends of the Earth where most of the shots from Terra Sacra were made. Art, you are an inspiration and the most driven photographer I have ever known! I learned so much working on this show with our amazing crew and have stories to tell for a lifetime!

Never-ending thanks to friends and colleagues Ian Herring and Maija Leivo of Parallax Film Productions for permission to us shots I took for the television series Ancient Megastructures (National Geographic Channel / History Television) and Battle Castle (Discovery/History Television/ BBC). These assignments provided unprecedented access to some of the world's most iconic ancient landmarks

Infinite thanks to my amazing wife Deddeda for her love and constant encouragement to pursue this project.
TECHNICAL:
Most of the time lapses were shot with a Canon 5D at the maximum resolution using a TC-80N3 intervalometer. A few shots were taken with a Canon 7D and Canon 5D mk II.
All images are single manual exposures, no HDR composites.
Original full resolution images were colour corrected and processed in 16-bit in Adobe Bridge using Camera Raw and exported as JPEG sequences at maximum quality. The rendered JPEG sets were then opened in Quicktime Pro as image sequences and exported at their native full resolution (up to 5K) as Quicktime movies at 23.98 fps with the Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) codec. The ProRes 422 (HQ) files were then edited in Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 on a ProRes 422 (HQ) timeline at 23.98. The master file is ProRes 422 (HQ) 1920 x 1080.
Selected time lapse sequences were also processed using Adobe Bridge and LRTimelapse to smoothen aperture flicker apparent in some shots with large depth-of-field.
LICENSING:
If you are interested in licensing any of the shots from the film, please contact me so I can direct you to the appropriate agency.
WHAT'S NEXT?
I would love to revisit many of the locations in this film and other powerful sacred sites around the world to create a feature-length "Terra Sacra". The film would combine real-time, slow-motion, and motion control time lapse imagery - all in stereoscopic 3D. If you are an angel investor, potential sponsor, broadcaster, distributor or someone deeply passionate who would would like to get involved, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you.

Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon.
We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya.
Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3.
No color grading was utilized.
No additional lights used.
Lenses:
16-35 mm 2.8
17 mm TS
35mm 1.4
50 mm 1.4
85mm 1.4
100 mm 2.8 macro
70-200 mm 2.8
