Based in a converted church this is an impressive venue, with great decor and ambience. It's a great place for a party (we recently held our engagement party there), and areas of the bar can be hired for this. Jo and her team will also provide a buffet at very reasonable cost. The cocktails are fantastic, ranging from the classics such as Cosmopolitans to more unusual apple martinis and the like. The food is very good for snacks, although for me it's a bit too lively for dinner. They also do an excellent salad bar lunch Monday to Saturday. The only slight quibble is the service which can sometimes be a little slow, but I know they're working on this at the moment. It was completed under Bishop Luffa in time for its dedication to the Holy Trinity in 1108. Richard of Chichester - also known as Richard de Wych - is a saint canonized 1262. He was Bishop of Chichester. His original shrine in Chichester Cathedral was a richly-decorated centre of pilgrimage which was destroyed in 1538.
