Christopher Fynsk. A Brief Introduction to Maurice Blanchot 2012
http://www.egs.edu/ Christopher Fynsk, contemporary philosopher talks about Maurice Blanchot, his life as an author, how he introduces the question of literature, his political background, the impact of surrealism, Thomas The Obscure, The Book To Come, The Literary Space, post-war period of Blanchot, in relation to the statements of Lacan, Foucault, Heidegger, Derrida, Bataille, Levinas and the post-structuralist thinking in Blanchot's theoretical and literary works.
Christopher Fynsk has been the Director of the Centre for Modern Thought as well as the head of the School of Language and Literature at the University of Aberdeen since 2005. He also currently holds the Maurice Blanchot Chair for Continental Philosophy at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. Previously he taught at SUNY Binghamton where he was co-director and founder of the Philosophy, Literature and Theory of Criticism department.
Internationally recognized as a Heidegger scholar and literary theorist, Christopher Fynsk has worked extensively with Philipe Lacou-Labarthe and Jean Luc Nancy as well as others over the course of his career. In his book Heidegger; Thought and Historicity (1986), Fynsk examined Heidegger's notions of human finitude and difference, especially through an examination of the role of 'mitsein' in Being and Time. In later works, Fynsk has taken up the idea of language (that there is language) and its relation to being. His book Infant Figures: The Death of the Infans and Other Scenes of Origin (2000) continues this engagement with language.
Amongst Chris Fynsks published works are Typography: Mimesis, Philosophy (1989), Heidegger: Thought and Historicity (1986), Politics Language and Relation: that there is language (1996), Infant Figures: The Death of the Infans and Other Scenes of Origin (2000), The Claim of Language: A Case for the Humanities (2004).

Resident Evil 3D Interview w/ Milla Jovovich
Award winning journalist Shawn Edwards sits down with Milla Jovovich to talk about the 5th installation of Resident Evil. Check out this exclusive interview only on BlackTree TV.
The $675 million-grossing film franchise returns for its fifth and most spectacular installment to date, Resident Evil: Retribution, written and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, in state-of-the art 3-D.
MILLA JOVOVICH (Alice) has established herself as a highly regarded international model and actress. Jovovich (her name is pronounced "mee-luh" "yo-vo-vitch") has transitioned effortlessly to full-time actress, starring in over two-dozen films.
Jovovich was most recently seen in Julien Magnat's thriller Faces in the Crowd, starring opposite Julian McMahon and David Atrakchi; Famke Janssen's Bringing Up Bobby, with Bill Pullman and Marcia Cross; and Paul W.S. Anderson's The Three Musketeers, alongside Christoph Waltz, Matthew Macfadyen, Mads Mikkelsen and Juno Temple.
Star of the Resident Evil franchise from the beginning, Jovovich reprised her role as Alice in the fourth installment of the series, Resident Evil: Afterlife. Written and directed by Anderson, the film was released nationwide in September 2010 and grossed $295 million worldwide.
Jovovich was recently seen in John Curran's thriller Stone, starring Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro and Academy Award® nominee Edward Norton; Dirty Girl, with William H. Macy and Juno Temple; and the Russian production Lucky Trouble, co-starring Konstantin Khabenskiy and Ivan Urgant.
At the age of 11, Jovovich was spotted by photographer Richard Avedon, who featured her in Revlon's "Most Unforgettable Women in the World" advertisements. In 1987, she appeared on the cover of the Italian fashion magazine Lei, her first of many covers. In 1988, she signed her first professional modeling contract.
Jovovich has appeared in hundreds of magazines and on dozens of covers. She has been featured in ad campaigns for brands including Banana Republic, Christian Dior, Damiani, Donna Karan, Gap and Versace. An international spokesmodel for L'Oréal cosmetics since 1998, Jovovich has also been seen recently in campaigns for ICB, Ann Taylor and Mercedes-Benz.
In 1988, the actress made her feature-film debut in the romantic thriller Two Moon Junction. Her first leading role was in Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991), for which she was nominated for a 1991 Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Starring in a Motion Picture." Early film credits include Kuffs (1992), Chaplin (1992) and Dazed and Confused (1993).
Jovovich's breakout role was playing Leeloo, the "perfect being" in Luc Besson's The Fifth Element (1997). She later starred in several other action movies including Ultraviolet (2006), A Perfect Getaway (2009) and The Fourth Kind (2009).
Jovovich demonstrated her talent for comedy and drama in films such as He Got Game (1998), The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), The Claim (2000), The Million Dollar Hotel (2000), Zoolander (2001), Dummy (2003), No Good Deed (2003) and You Stupid Man (2003).
Jovovich is also a talented musician. In 1994, she released her critically acclaimed folk album, "The Divine Comedy." She wrote the lyrics at age 15 and recorded the album when she was just 16. For "In a Glade," a traditional Ukrainian folk song, Jovovich sings in her native tongue.
For some time, Jovovich led a band called "Plastic Has Memory," which played about a dozen shows in Los Angeles and New York City in 1999. Jovovich performed the song "Left and Right" at Fashion Rocks in London in 2003.
She has also had songs on several albums, including two cover versions of Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love" on The Million Dollar Hotel soundtrack (2000), "Rocket Collecting" on the Underworld soundtrack (2003), and "Shein Vi Di L'Vone" and "Mezinka" (Yiddish klezmer songs) on the Dummy soundtrack (2003).
The actress is also a fixture in the fashion world. Jovovich-Hawk, a fashion line formed by Jovovich and Carmen Hawk in 2003, operated for five years. Jovovich-Hawk was a finalist in 2006 for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund initiative. The popular fashion chain Mango released a Jovovich-Hawk collection in 2007.
Jovovich is an ambassador for amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) and also supports several other charities, including OCRF (Ovarian Cancer Research Fund), The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Wildlands Project and UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
When she is not in production, Jovovich resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Paul W.S. Anderson and daughter, Ever

The Tomb Of Jesus Christ Discovery: New Evidence??? You Tube.flv
Archaeologists working in Jerusalem claim that a discovery they made inside a burial tomb, dating back to the time of Jesus Christ, could shed new light on the origins of Christianity.
Biblical historian James Tabor, professor and chair of religious studies at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, is working with the team, led by controversial filmmaker Simcha Jacobovici. Using a camera mounted on a robotic arm, the team found a 2,000-year-old engraving, which they claim depicts Jesus' resurrection, on an ossuary -- a limestone burial box that contains human bones -- in a first-century tomb. "It's almost like a moonscape feeling of something eerie, something kind of silent- a reverent feeling really," Tabor said. "Because these people died 2,000 years ago and now we are investigating their last memories, how they bury their dead, what they left behind, so that was there and then the excitement of, 'Well will there be something we'll find or will we find just another Jewish tomb'?"
But the team thinks they found something much more than that. Tabor believes the engraving found on the ossuary depicts the Biblical story of Jonah, who was swallowed by a whale in the Book of Jonah.
For many Christians, the Old Testament story of Jonah and the whale has come to symbolize the resurrection of Jesus. If the engraving is of Jonah, as Tabor believes, he said it would be the earliest Christian symbol of resurrection ever found.
However, many biblical scholars don't see it that way at all.
Mark Goodacre, an associate professor of religious studies at Duke University, who specializes in the New Testament, says there are other, far more likely, explanations as to what the engraving could be, such as a vase with handles.
"When is a fish not a fish? When it has handles, matching handles," he said. "It's a vessel. It's a vase. It's a vase that looks like many of the ones that you'll find in the early Roman period."
Yet Jacobovici and his colleagues believe that ancient Greek letters found on another ossuary a few feet away from the engraving also refer to resurrection.
"Now whether they were saying he rose or we will rise, we can argue about it, but the finds themselves are hard archaeology that show, you know, new light, shed new light on the big bang of Christianity," Jacobovici said.
But again, religious scholars say it is more like a big bust.
"He's seeing things that simply aren't there," Goodacre said. "His head is so full of 'DaVinci Code.'"
Robert Cargill, an assistant professor of classics and religious studies at the University of Iowa, told "Nightline" that the original image of the engraving that Tabor sent him is "clearly displaying the handles" but that the handles do not appear in the image that was distributed to the press.
"There are clearly handles on the top of the so-called 'Jonah fish' image, but Tabor and Jacobovici don't include them in their museum replicas or the CGI image," Cargill said. "No credible scholar except those that work with or for Simcha on this or some other project believe his conclusions... The evidence does not support their sensational claims. But that doesn't stop them from wanting it to be true, so in their minds, it's true."
Jacobovici has been criticized before when he made the claim five years ago that he had found Jesus' family tomb, with ossuaries that contained the bones of Jesus' mother Mary, Jesus himself, Mary Magdalene and perhaps -- as told in "The DaVinci Code" -- their love child.
But Tabor, among others, do believe that Jacobovici did find something significant -- that the two tombs, just 200 feet apart, are related somehow. Tabor has even collaborated on a new book called "The Jesus Discovery."
"We have one tomb that has the bones of Jesus and 200 feet away, people celebrating his resurrection," Tabor said. "They're able to put this together in a way that maybe people today haven't considered."
However, as Goodacre points out, there is no evidence that either tomb has anything to do with Jesus. But what Jacobovici and his critics can agree on is that exploring the inside of tombs dating back to the first century is "really exciting."

Sheeped Away
Sheeped Away tells the tale of a farmer who just wants to be with his beloved sheep. When a giant UFO enters his life to claim his sheep, what will he do to keep them safe from harm? And can he do this without waking his monstrous wife?
The whole point of making “Sheeped Away” was to make a tribute of sorts, to the old American cartoons I grew up with. They were not necessarily made for children but neither were they unwatchable for them. I wanted to make something just like that; something for both adults and kids. And adult kids like me.
It was a difficult process of 7 long months, but with the help of a lot of awesome talented people, I made it. I can’t thank them enough.

mongolia!
this summer we got an amazing opportunity to go on a ten-day motorcycle trip across the scarcely populated steppes of mongolia and live their nomadic life.
while researching mongolia prior to our trip, we found out that most of the native mongolians love having photographs taken of themselves. although mongolia's capital, ulaanbaatar, is fairly urbanized, modern technology is not as commonly seen in the countryside. many of the families we met had very few or no pictures as a family together. most opportunities to have a printed photo of themselves either came from tourists or from visiting the city. also, most young people (we met a boy Vanessa's age, 17, who didn't have a printed photo of himself) have never had a photo to keep of themselves. we decided to bring a bunch of polaroid film along on our motorcycles so each local we met along the way could have a picture to keep of him or herself!
when we asked one family if we could take a picture of them, we were kind of scared of bothering or distracting them from their daily duties. we didn't see the family for the next ten minutes so we assumed they didn't want a picture. finally, the family (the first family seen in the video) came out of their yurt dressed in traditional celebratory clothing! we were so honored to be able to capture a moment of them together.
people huddled around us just to have their photo taken and once they got one, they'd return to their yurt, but eventually return with other friends or family members who also wanted a polaroid.
each person photographed really prized and protected his or her polaroid (fearing that we wanted to keep it), and barely let us see it when it was developed! the children automatically stored it away once we showed them it. it was a really great experience and showed us how much just one photograph can mean to people. although many people claim they want to escape this mess of technology in more delevoped countries, we often tend to take the beauty of some technology, such as photography, for granted.
anyways, this video is the reactions of just a few people we photographed...enjoy! :D
the song is "janglin' (itunes session)" by edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros
(UPDATE: through articles and this description, there have been several misunderstandings.. we're sorry for any misunderstandings and we hope we cleared it up! we made this video originally just for ourselves, our friends, and our family. we never imagined it would get this many views, although we're very grateful for them, so our description might not have been perfect.. we don't want to blame any articles either, because our original description for our intended few viewers was a bit ambiguous. we hope you can please ignore any misconceptions and enjoy the profound delight these people received from the magic of photography! :) their nomadic lifestyle is very beautiful, but just different to ours. our trip to mongolia was a very unique and special experience, which we hope to share with as many people as we can.)

Man claims to Be Jesus Christ The Messiah living in Australia
Visit our site: westcoastfiya.com
Matthew 24 - Watch out that no one deceives you for many will claim I am the Christ and fool many.
At long last, Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene have returned. Or at least that's what one Australian couple wants you to think.
Cult watchers are keeping a close eye on the pair, actually named Alan John Miller and Mary Suzanne Luck, who under the title "Divine Truth" claim to be the second coming of the biblical figures.
"Just a little over 2000 years ago, we arrived on the Earth for the first time," Miller says on his website. "Because of my personal desire and passion for God, as I grew, I recognized not only that I was the Messiah that was foretold by ancient prophets, but also that I was in a process designed by God that all humans could follow, if they so desired."
Miller, 47, and Luck, 32, have drawn in between 30 and 40 disciples since moving to the Wilkesdale region of Queensland in 2007, the Courier Mail reports.
"I don't want to be Jesus. Who wants to be Jesus?" Miller told his followers. "But I love the divine truth."
Australia's Cult Awareness and Information Centre and the Anglican and Catholic churches are concerned that the couple, relying on supporter donations to sustain themselves, appeals to the vulnerable.
"The moment someone becomes God or God's voice on Earth, it gives them another level of authority to enforce submission to them," Cult Awareness and Information Centre spokeswoman Helen Pomery told the Courier.
Divine reincarnation or not, the holy couple has worked wonders for local real estate. Miller and Luck's move to Wilkesdale reportedly sparked an "unlikely property boom," as their followers aggressively purchased much of the surrounding land.
In 2009, followers pooled together $400,000 to purchase roughly one square mile of land, where they currently hold weekly meetings and plan to build an international visitors center.

I finally finished my 2,000 Subscribers Special! Took about 3 days, and one revamp. You see I originally planning on making
a mini mmv clip collaboration of all my favorite songs from my faovrite artists & bands. That was a sad failure, I might plan on uploading what was completed of it.
In this MMV, I tried to improve my Sony Vegas Editing style. Which was a total failure, but fun for me. I was trying to achieve a dirty feel, as if you were watching this behind a glass,
watching a person trying to forgive himself for all his past mistakes. for me, I think that's a bit too late. Blah, anyways I hope you guys enjoyed. The MMV's inspiration was soley based on the only and only one, Anna, XxSayakaxX. No I was not trying imitate her style, o__o;. I'm trying to create my own style, that changes so often.
Custom Hair & Eyes were made by the lovely ChibiKirie.
Shout Outs;
*I hope this makes up for what I've done Michelle.
*I'm sorry dude, miss you.
* I love every-one-and-single-of-you. ♥
I am not affiliated with Nexon INC., Wizet, or WMG in anyway. I do not own any of the content in my videos unless stated.
