Gdynia [ˈɡdɨɲa] (Kashubian: Gdiniô) is a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland and an important seaport of Gdańsk Bay on the south coast of the Baltic Sea.
Located in Kashubia in Eastern Pomerania, Gdynia is part of a conurbation with the spa town of Sopot, the city of Gdańsk and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity (Trójmiasto), with a population of over a million people.
The area of the later city of Gdynia shared its history with Pomerelia (Eastern Pomerania); in prehistoric times it was the center of Oksywie culture; it was later populated by Slavs with some Baltic Prussian influences.
Lotos Gdynia is a Polish women basketball team, based in Gdynia, playing in PLKK. The club is founded 1946.

Wizyta przeprowa...

Me walking around the city of Gdynia in Poland. "Gdynia" is not pronounced like I do in the video, my apologies. :) Just like the last video, this video feels a bit uninspired as my girlfriend Frances left the day earlier to Sweden. Right now though we're both together and we're doing super well!! :) New projects by us soon (that are much better than this)!! :D Music by: Breves De Comptoir - Super Star (Instrumentale) https://soundcloud.com/oldyclaprecordz ProleteR - Faidherbe Square https://soundcloud.com/proleter-beatmaker ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi guys! This is a short video I made during my visit to Gdynia, Poland in February 2015. I only spent a few hours in the city but it wasn't very big so I was able to cover a lot of ground. The attractions in the video include the Gdynia Port, the Gdynia City Museum, the view from Kamienna Gora, and a statue and the home of Abraham (Domek Abrahama). Gdynia is beautiful city but it's definitely a much better idea to visit during the summer. Don't expect any classic Polish architecture as it is one of Poland's newest cities and a dedicated port town. The nearby town of Sopot has much more to offer in terms of attractions and tourism qualities. The song I used is a classic Polish song from the Lublin region of the country.
In January I flew over to Gdansk in Northern Poland for a week to explore the famous tricity, consisting of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. I booked a really fantastic airbnb, in the heart of Gdansk, costing just £15 a night inclusive of our own private sauna! Next we travelled over to the seaside part of the tricity, to the resort town of Sopot. Staying at the Mera Spa hotel we enjoyed outside jacuzzi's... yes I know crazy at -7! As an English guy I found the prospect of snow on the beach unbelievable - i'm told this is normal... I also witnessed europe's longest pier, half a km long and built over 100 years ago, quite the stunner! We concluded our trip back in Gdansk, staying at the hilton looking over the gorgeous city. Due to the coldness the river was frozen over, which was strange seei...
And when the lights go down
That's when it bites just a little
Bites just a little more
And when the lights go down, down
That's when I die just a little
Wanna get high just a little more
When the curtain falls
And there's no more applause
When the party's over
And there's no one to hold you
Look inside yourself and find
Your own light to ease your mind
And when the lights go down
That's when it bites just a little
Bites just a little more
And when the lights go down, down
