Sports Talk Radio goes behind the scenes of JOCK 700 AM. A station devoted to sports in British Columbia. STR delves into the lives of the on-air personalities. From the two polar-opposites who host the popular drive-home show to the sexy-traffic-and-weather-together-girl to the station manager who's trying to keep everything running smoothly. Meet Bunt and Frank, co-hosts of the afternoon show. Bunt votes conservative, is single, likes drinking rye and still hangs out at nightclubs. Frank is married, votes liberal and believes JOCK AM can transcend regular, jocular sports radio programming and become something better. And he's going to blackmail people to do it. You'll also get to know Marty & Mike in the Morning. Marty likes aerobics and hip hop. Mike likes Jesus and loves to talk to you about it. Fatima, the classy station manager, is forced to hire a vocal coach for evening host Dave who can't speak properly. Meanwhile the beautiful and long-suffering Preet, the engineer, runs everything while she bites her tongue at the incompetent, xenophobic and egotistical co-workers that surround her. A different version of this song appears on the 1979 album 'Don't Throw Stones'. Trivia: The schoolgirl in the background is a teenage Gina Riley, who would later become famous as a comedian, most notable as Kim Craig of hit Australian comedy sitcom 'Kath & Kim'. Beside her with the bleached-blonde hair is Phill Calvert, drummer of Nick Cave's old band The Boys Next Door (later known as The Birthday Party). Boys Next Door's bassplayer Tracey Pew (who was dating Gina Riley at the time) also makes an appearance in this video as one of the extra's - can anybody identify him? Other extra's in this video are relatives to members of the Sports. Funniest / Most Akward moment in sports radio History
I'm a long time listener of 1050 AM ESPN Radio in New York. I've have been listening since ESPN debuted WEPN/NY back in 2003. Well, in November 29,2007 during the Brandon Tierney show, I witnessed a moment I will never forget. Possibly the funniest moment in sports radio history. It was so funny, that I cried. So the very next day during the Brandon Tierney show, I called the show and asked the guy in charge of the phone calls that night if he can get BT to replay that moment again. He did. That was over 465 days ago. Yesterday, I went on google searching for a clip of that moment. And I got it and downloaded it. Here's it is.

Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. On his own he added stints in New York and Los Angeles with leading acting teachers, as well as learning the grace and style of many forms of dance and athletics. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. The accident was a near brush with death and it almost ended her career but following her live performances draw record crowds in the Orient, Las Vegas and Miami. Her body of work expands with more films, TV Specials and awards
This is the decade in which Ann-Margret grows up. The eighties begin with her winning her first Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Award. She tours the country with her Vegas act. Her film career is full speed ahead and she stars in her first of several critically acclaimed TV Dramas, and is nominated for three Best Actress Emmy's. However, her husband Roger is stricken with Myasthenia Gravis, and Ann-Margret is thrust into the toughest role of her career... she's in charge of her career and Roger's battle to survive.
A new, mature Ann-Margret emerges in the nineties. Roger's health stabilizes and new opportunities abound. She performs live at the Radio City Music Hall. She tackles new characters in TV Film Dramas and receives renewed acclaim for her acting. She films two classics: "Grumpy Old Men," and its sequel, "Grumpier Old Men" with Walter Mathau, Jack Lemmon and Sophia Loren. Ann-Margret just gets better and better
In 2001 she starred in the touring production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is playing the lead role of Miss Mona Stangley, indomitable madam of the multi-storied Chicken Ranch brothel
