Universal Studios Hollywood is recognised worldwide as the home of film making and has produced 100s of classic TV shows. The park is open to the public and provides guests with the usual theme park attractions, but also includes a comprehensive, behind the scenes look at the stage sets and production houses. 0:04 - Ticket kiosks and Universal Studios Hollywood arch. 0:31 - Inside the theme park. (1:02) Blues Brothers actors in old police car. (1:16) Blues Brothers act singing at the Blues Brothers R&B; Revue - Stage 13. (2:12) 1970s British Leyland Mini used on the set of Mr. Bean's Holiday. 2:45 - Jurassic Park: The Ride, situated in the Lower lot. 3:48 - The Starway escalator. 3:59 - Onboard the Studio Tour aka The Backlot Tour. The Tour is the signature attraction at the park, and goes into a working movie studio, with various film sets on the lot. In recent years, guests have sat in multi-car trams for the duration of the ride. The Tour lasts about 45-50 minutes and is led by a live tour guide who can be seen throughout the tram on video screens. It travels through the Front Lot, Backlot and various attractions, passing sets and props from movies along the way. The Studio Tour includes some special demonstrations, as well as some small segments. Patterned by Nature was commissioned by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences (http://naturalsciences.org) for the newly built Nature Research Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The exhibit celebrates our abstraction of nature’s infinite complexity into patterns through the scientific process, and through our perceptions. It brings to light the similarity of patterns in our universe, across all scales of space and time.
10 feet wide and 90 feet in length, this sculptural ribbon winds through the five story atrium of the museum and is made of 3600 tiles of LCD glass. It runs on roughly 75 watts, less power than a laptop computer. Animations are created by independently varying the transparency of each piece of glass.
The content cycles through twenty programs, ranging from clouds to rain drops to colonies of bacteria to flocking birds to geese to cuttlefish skin to pulsating black holes. The animations were created through a combination of algorithmic software modeling of natural phenomena and compositing of actual footage.
An eight channel soundtrack accompanies the animations on the ribbon, giving visitors clues to the identity of the pixelated movements. In addition, two screens show high resolution imagery and text revealing the content on the ribbon at any moment.

Muzorama
Muzorama is a short 3D animation film based on the universe of french illustrator Jean-Philippe Masson aka Muzo.
Produce in late 2008 with a six weeks production time.
Directed by Elsa Brehin, Raphaël Calamote, Mauro Carraro, Maxime Cazaux, Emilien Davaud, Laurent Monneron and Axel Tillement.
