But it had to be shared. I think he was on a very special mood this particular night. He sang as he never did. Miss him so bad ******************* well, to be totally honest, i first watched this concert by chance 8 years ago in an awful quality: 240p and poor images and sound, normal for a live show registered on TV about 20 years ago. Then someone shared on Youtube a song of this concert in a perfect quality, so i searched for it during 2 years, till i finally got it. Why did it have to end during grace ? because the TV show was ending.. so they put the credits at the bottom then switched the show. Shame on them... MojoDream94 noticed : sadly they didn't film the 3 other songs,"Eternal Life" "I Know Its Over" and "Hallelujah" .There was also another "Grace", the additional version of Grace played before the show for the 'Musik & Diskussion' program on Hessischer Rundfunk. Would be interesting to check this radio and ask for. So i tried to look for that TV channel on google, but i can't even find the name .. i know that logo, but i can't say what channel it was... I had asked her three or four years ago to look into the archives, but unfortunately she couldn't find it. However the original broadcast was done by the Hessischer Rundfunk (Hessian) and this broadcast seems to be a re-broadcast of the Bayrischer Rundfunk (Bavarian). The logo stands for BR. It's possible as they share programs. They are both public channel, so in theory the video should be in their archive. He was the son of Tim Buckley, also a musician. After a decade as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, Buckley amassed a following in the early 1990s by playing cover songs at venues in Manhattan's East Village, such as Sin-é, gradually focusing more on his own material. After rebuffing much interest from record labels and his father's manager Herb Cohen, he signed with Columbia, recruited a band, and recorded what would be his only studio album, Grace. Over the following two years, the band toured widely to promote the album, including concerts in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Australia. In 1996, they stopped touring and made sporadic attempts to record Buckley's second album in New York with Tom Verlaine as producer. In 1997, Buckley moved to Memphis, Tennessee, to resume work on the album, to be titled My Sweetheart the Drunk, recording many four-track demos while also playing weekly solo shows at a local venue. While awaiting the arrival of his band from New York, he drowned during a spontaneous evening swim, fully clothed, in the Wolf River when he was caught in the wake of a passing boat. His body was found on June 4, 1997. Since his death, there have been many posthumous releases of his material, including a collection of four-track demos and studio recordings for his unfinished second album My Sweetheart the Drunk, expansions of Grace, his Live at Sin-é EP. Chart success also came posthumously: with his famous cover of Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah" he attained his first No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs in March 2008 and reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart that December.
