California travel expert Veronica Hill of http://www.CaliforniaTravelExpert.com shares her San Diego travel video in this episode of "California Travel Tips."
San Diego California is home to more activities per square mile than perhaps any other place in the world. This laid-back surfer town is packed with hotels, restaurants and attractions, making it a great choice for any budget. And with an average summer temperature of about 70 degrees, you don't need to do any heavy packing. San Diego is extremely casual, so flip flops and sundresses are standard attire around most of the city. Be sure to plan at least 3 days to explore — but a week is even better. Most San Diego hotels offer great discount packages. Some even include free tickets to San Diego attractions, so don't be shy about asking. If you only have one day in San Diego city, be sure to visit the San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park. It's home to one of the finest collections of animals in the world, and it's a great place to brush up on your wildlife photography. At San Diego Wild Animal Park, you can explore the African Savannah by Jeep, go camping on an overnight safari, or rush down Flightline, the longest zip line in the continental United States. There are so many things to do in San Diego, but one of the most popular is Sea World San Diego, a marine animal theme park that's home to fast-moving water rides, entertaining dolphin shows, and that famous killer whale, Shamu. Don't miss a chance to take part in their Dolphin Interaction, where you can put on a wetsuit and swim with dolphins just like the pros. It's truly unforgettable. Small children will love Legoland California, a Danish theme park filled with animated characters, rides and miniature cities made of Lego bricks. The Apple Fries are loaded with calories, but worth every bite. San Diego is a huge metropolitan city, the second largest in California and 9th largest in the U.S. Downtown San Diego is home to the San Diego Padres, who play in Petco Park, and the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium. The San Diego Trolley is the city's rapid transit system, running three separate lines from the Mexican border north to El Cajon. On weekends, up to two children ride free with a paying adult. One of the most popular San Diego tours is offered by the San Diego Old Town Trolley. Your tickets include all day hop-on, hop-off access to the city's top sights, including the USS Midway, Little Italy, the Gaslamp Quarter, Whaley House and Seaport Village, where you'll find great San Diego shopping and some of the best San Diego restaurants. You can also go on a San Diego tour with a GPS-enabled Go Car, available through some San Diego rental car agencies, or board a hydra-terra vehicle for a land-to-sea experience on the San Diego Seal Tours. Marine buffs will appreciate the Maritime Museum of San Diego, home to one of the finest collections of historic ships in the world. Book an adventure at sea on a tall ship, or take part in a real cannon battle. Each September, the museum hosts the annual San Diego Tall Ships Festival, drawing salty sea dogs from around the world. For a glimpse at where it all started, be sure to visit Mission San Diego, founded in 1769 by Father Junipero Serra. It was the first of 21 Missions in California, and is considered to be the birthplace of Christianity in the Far West. When planning a San Diego vacation, it's easy to become overwhelmed by the lodging choices. A few San Diego resorts include the golf course and spa resort of La Costa in Carlsbad, the family-friendly Paradise Point in Mission Bay, the business-savvy San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina and the pet-friendly Loews Coronado Bay Resort. But my all-time favorite is the historic Hotel Del Coronado, one of the grandest oceanfront resorts in the West. Opened in 1888, the hotel offers tours by reservation, or you can explore on your own. While you're in Coronado, you'll find plenty to do, from sunbathing on Coronado Beach to kite surfing at the Silver Strand. Rent a bike from Holland's Bicycles and cruise the Bayshore Bikeway, take in the sights and shops of Orange Avenue, or spend a romantic sunset at sea on a Venetian gondola. In June, you can catch the annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition, one of the best San Diego events, where you're guaranteed to have a dog-gone good time. It's impossible to mention all of the great things to do in San Diego, but then again, maybe we shouldn't. It's always fun to discover new and exciting things every time you travel. Mark Dice is a media analyst, political activist, and author who, in an entertaining and educational way, gets people to question our celebrity obsessed culture, and the role the mainstream media and elite secret societies play in shaping our lives. Check out Mark's books in paperback on Amazon.com or e-book on Kindle, iBooks, Nook, or Google Play.
Mark frequently stirs up controversy from his commentaries, protests, and boycotts, and has repeatedly been featured in major media outlets around the world.
Several of Mark's YouTube videos have gone viral, earning him a mention on ABC's The View, Fox News' O'Reilly Factor, CNN, Drudge Report, TMZ.com, and other mainstream media outlets. Mark has also been featured in (or attacked in) the New York Post's Page Six, Rolling Stone Magazine, USA Today, The New York Daily News, and in major papers in Pakistan and Iran.
Mark Dice appears in several documentary films including Invisible Empire, The 9/11 Chronicles, and has been featured on the History Channel's Decoded, Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, the Sundance Channel's Love/Lust: Secret Societies and more.
He enjoys enlightening zombies, as he calls them, (ignorant people) about the mass media's effect on our culture, pointing out Big Brother's prying eyes, and exposing elite secret societies along with scumbag politicians and their corrupt political agendas. You can support Mark's work by sending a PayPal donation to Donate@MarkDice.com or by using the Donate link on MarkDice.com.
He has called into several top-rated talk shows dozens of times, including the Sean Hannity Show, Glenn Beck, and Michael Savage, and verbally battles with the hosts on various issues since he has never been asked to be a guest on them as of yet. Audio of some of these calls are then posted online.
The term "fighting the New World Order" is used by Mark to describe some of his activities, and refers to his and others' resistance and opposition (The Resistance) to the overall system of political corruption, illegal wars, elite secret societies, mainstream media, Big Brother and privacy issues; as well as various economic and social issues.
Dice and his supporters sometimes refer to being "awake" or "enlightened" and see their knowledge of these topics as part of their own personal Resistance to the corrupt New World Order. This Resistance involves self-improvement, self-sufficiency, personal responsibility and spiritual growth.
Mark Dice is the author of several books on current events, secret societies and conspiracies, including his newest book, Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True which is available on Amazon.com, Kindle and Nook. While much of Mark's work confirms the existence and continued operation of the Illuminati today, he is also dedicated to debunking conspiracy theories and hoaxes and separating the facts from the fiction; hence the "Facts & Fiction" subtitle for several of his books. He has a bachelor's degree in communication from California State University.
If you have an iPad or Android tablet, then you can download the Kindle app and then download any of Mark's books from the Kindle store for only $6.99 or $7.99. Some of them are also available in e-book on Google Play. Or you can get paperback copies from Amazon.com too if you prefer a physical book. They are not available in stores. A lot of work and research went into them and they'll save you countless hours of web surfing or YouTube watching in your search for pieces of the puzzle.
Your support also funds more of Mark's videos and other operations. Equipment, software, travel, and the props all cost money, so by purchasing his paperback books and e-books, you are helping The Resistance continue and your help is greatly appreciated.
Be sure to subscribe to Mark's YouTube channel, and look him up on Facebook, and Twitter. http://www.YouTube.com/MarkDice http://www.Facebook.com/MarkDice http://www.Twitter.com/MarkDice http://www.MarkDice.com

Gangland: Logan Heights, LH. San Diego, California.
http://gangstersinc.dk/ The 99% - We Host "Freedom"
http://gangstersinc.spreadshirt.dk/
The Logan Heights gang was established in Southeast San Diego during the 1960s,
when several individual Mexican-American street gangs from the neighborhoods of Barrio Logan,
Logan Heights, and Memorial unified. Currently the gang is composed of four main subsets
(Red Steps, 30th Street, 33rd Street, Logan Heights 13) that operate within these neighborhoods.
There is also a small subset called Logan Heights Clicka that operates within the Colina del Sol neighborhood of the
City Heights district in San Diego.
Although they are based in San Diego, the influence of the gang has spread to other cities in the United States
(Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, and Lakewood, Washington) and to Tijuana, Mexico.
Membership is not restricted to Mexican-Americans, and the gang has included Mexican nationals,
members from other Hispanic cultures, Native Americans, and Whites.
The Logan Heights gang has been an allied to the Tijuana Cartel
(Arellano-Félix Organization) over the Tijuana smuggling route to the border city of San Diego,
California. The alliance between Tijuana cartel and the gang began On November 8, 1992
when Hector Palma Salazar struck out against the Tijuana Cartel at a disco in Puerto Vallarta,
Jalisco, where eight Tijuana Cartel members were killed in the shootout,
the Arellano-Félix brothers having successfully escaped from the location with the assistance of Logan Heights gangster
David ''D'' Barron.
In retaliation, the Logan Heights and the Tijuana Cartel attempted to set up Mexican drug lord "chapo" Guzmán
at Guadalajara airport on May 24, 1993. In the shootout that followed, six civilians were killed by the hired gunmen from the gang.
The deaths included that of Roman Catholic Cardinal Juan Jesús Posadas Ocampo.
The church hierarchy originally believed Ocampo was targeted as revenge for his strong stance against the drug trade.
However, Mexican officials believe Ocampo just happened to be caught in cross fire.
The Cardinal arrived at the airport in a white Mercury Grand Marquis town car, known to be popular amongst drug barons,
making it a target. Intelligence received by Logan Heights gang leader David ''D'' Barron was that Guzmán would be
arriving in a white Mercury Grand Marquis town car. This explanation, however, is often countered due to Ocampo
having been wearing a long black cassock and large pectoral cross,
as well as him sharing no similarity in appearance with Guzmán and having been gunned down from only two feet away.
The Logan Heights gang also has close ties to the Tijuana Cartel and Mexican Mafia.
Enemies of the gang include several San Diego County gangs (most notably Barrio Sherman,
Varrio Shelltown, and Old Town National City), and gangs from North Hollywood, Los Angeles.

Silent Spring + 50: Lessons from San Diego's Bees and Bays
(Visit: http://www.uctv.tv/) On this third program in Silent Spring - Exploring Ethics series, San Diego Coastkeeper's Jill Witkowski and Dr. James Nieh of UC San Diego address two major environmental problems in the region -- water pollution and the devastating effect of parasites and pesticides on the honey bee population. Both presentations shed light on how members of the public can work with San Diego researchers to protect our natural resources and create a more sustainable community. Barricaded Suspect Standoff Ends Peacefully, Rancho San Diego
RANCHO SAN DIEGO - March 6, 2013 - INFORMATION FROM RADIO TRAFFIC/SERGEANT: A standoff with a suicidal subject has ended peacefully tonight in Rancho San Diego. At 3:52 PM Sheriff was called out to the home for a man who claimed to have doused his entire home with gasoline. Responding units set up a perimeter and spent almost 4 hours negotiating with him. Sheriff fired several rounds of pepperball and/or less-lethal rounds through the front windows to help ventilate the home in case the suspect was filling the home with natural gas. Fire Department arrived on scene and shut down gas service to the home. The claim of gasoline was unfounded per the Sergeant. He finally agreed to come out peacefully. He walked out and was taken in to custody without incident. Neighbors tell me (one on tape) that he's a polite guy. Some neighbors also tell me he is known to have a drinking problem. Others speculate drug use, after finding needles in their trash, but that's merely heresy and can not be confirmed. The friend I interviewed told me the suspect had just left the bar, and that he saw him at a gas station just prior to this. He also tells me the suspect tried to call him just prior, but didn't answer. As I was talking to the friend, he called the suspect and he answered and simply said he can't talk right now and hung up. The windows to the home were shattered and the blinds were broken. There were two dogs inside. The suspect is being taken by San Diego PD PERT. It may be a combination of alcohol, drugs and/or mental health issues per the Sergeant.
