Joanna of Castile (1479-1555) : Called Joanna the Mad (Juana La loca), daughter of Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile.Brothers: Isabella (Queen of Portugal), Prince John, Mary (Queen of Portugal) and Catherine (Queen of England). Philip of Austria's wife and Queen of Spain, children: Eleanor , Queen of Portugal and France Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor Isabella, Queen of Denmark Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor Mary, Queen of Hungary and Bohemia Catherine, Queen of Portugal The death of her only brother John, Prince of Asturias, her eldest sister Isabella , Queen of Portugal, and then of the latter's infant son Miguel, Prince of Asturias, made Joanna the heiress of the Spanish kingdoms. Her passionate jealousy and constant suspicion of her husband made her notorious. After Philip's death , Joanna was imprisoned in Tordesillas in 1509 until his death in 1555. Some historians argue she suffered from either manic depression or clinical depression, worsened by her situation and the treatment she received from her husband and father, both of whom wanted her out of the way in order to assume rulership for themselves. Joanna only nominally remained Queen regnant of Spain until her death. film "Juana La Loca" (2001) Director: Vicente Aranda Cast: Pilar lópez de Ayala, Daniele Liotti...

Juan, Prince of the Asturias and Margaret of Austria
In order to achieve an alliance with Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon, Maximilian started negotiating the marriage of their only son and heir, John, Prince of Asturias, to Margaret, as well as the marriage of their daughter, Joanna, to Philip. Margaret left the Netherlands for Spain late in 1496. The marriage took place in 1497. John died after only six months, on 4 October. Margaret was left pregnant. On 8 December, she gave birth to a stillborn daughter. The Dowager Princess of Asturias returned to the Netherlands early in 1500, when her brother and sister-in-law invited her to be godmother to their newborn son, Charles of Austria.

The Truth About Christopher Columbus and 1492 - Another Roman Inquisition
in 1480 the Inquisitions started all done by Cardinals serving The Papacy en.wikipedia.org in 1492 all the jews also were expelled , here read for your self www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org Christopher Columbus (working for Aragon Templarism) was Jewish and serving The Papacy (ROME) he was funded by Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile (both devoted Roman Catholics) with the Gold they took from the Sephardic Jews that they expelled from Spain. The Holy Roman Emperor of that time was Maximilian I who was the son of Frederick III , his wife was a papal bloodline Bianca Maria Sforza (House of Visconti) en.wikipedia.org Also 1492 was the year that the Los Alumbrados (The Enlightened Ones) was created which later on was banned , 40 years later former Los Alumbrados member Ignatius Loyola founded The Society of Jesus together with Francis Borgia (papal bloodline) based on Aragon Templarism and The Babylonian Mystery Religion (Hassassins) tou counter reformate The Protestant Reformation , this they have been doing for the past almost 600 years. America is the final piece and they will bring USA down , they simply already do , the whole government is crawling with Knights of Rome.....and they will dupe all the people. We see here a lot of things coming together and i mean a LOT , I think also the Roots of the British East India Trade or should we say Spanish East India trade because it were the Portugese that first sailed around Africa !!! , the first major ...

A few days later she was sexually assaulted in prison. She resumed male attire either as a defense against molestation or, in the testimony of Jean Massieu, because her dress had been stolen and she was left with nothing else to wear. Eyewitnesses described the scene of the execution by burning on 30 May 1431. Tied to a tall pillar in the Vieux-Marche in Rouen, she asked two of the clergy, Fr Martin Ladvenu and Fr Isambart de la Pierre, to hold a crucifix before her. A peasant also constructed a small cross which she put in the front of her dress. After she expired, the English raked back the coals to expose her charred body so that no one could claim she had escaped alive, then burned the body twice more to reduce it to ashes and prevent any collection of relics. The Young Princess Mary Tudor
The Childhood of Princess Mary Tudor Blathnaid Mckeown as Mary Tudor Mary was the only child of King Henry VIII of England and his first wife Catherine of Aragon to survive infancy. Her mother had many miscarriages, and Mary had been preceded by a stillborn sister and three short-lived brothers, including Henry, Duke of Cornwall. Through her mother, she was a granddaughter of King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile. She was born at the Palace of Placentia in Greenwich, London, and was baptised three days later at the Church of the Observant Friars. Her godparents included her great-aunt the Countess of Devon, Lord Chancellor Thomas Wolsey, and the Duchess of Norfolk. The King's cousin once removed Margaret Pole, 8th Countess of Salisbury, stood sponsor for Mary's confirmation, which was held immediately after the baptism. The following year, Mary became a godmother herself when she was named as one of the sponsors of her cousin Frances Brandon. In 1520, the Countess of Salisbury was appointed as Mary's governess.Sir John Hussey, later Lord Hussey, was her chamberlain, and his wife, Lady Anne, daughter of George Grey, 2nd Earl of Kent, was one of Mary's attendants. Mary was a precocious child. In July 1520, when scarcely four and a half years old, she entertained a visiting French delegation with a performance on the virginals (a type of harpsichord). It was said that the princess was very beautiful in her youth, as a child and young woman. A great part of ...

M2TW: XVI Century Knights of Malta repelling 2 Ottoman Turkish Armies 1/2
Its been while since i last uploaded a battle vid with my edited Knights of St.John of the XVI century, so i thought i'd make one. This time i made some edits on the small banners aswell, i edited them with each Coat of Arms representing the 8 Langues or Tounges of the Order of St.John. Provence, Auvergne, France, Aragon, Castile, Germany, Italy & England. This way i gave it a little more historical accuracy. I also edited the GrandMaster's (General) tunic with the Order's white cross, quartered by La Valette's Coat of Arms. My edited Knights of Malta of the XVI Century are created by myself & they are NOT a complete downloadable mod, i used the faction of Portugal for its Aventuros pikemen & Conquistadores, i added other XVI century units from other factions, like Forlorn Hope 2 handed swordsmen, Swiss Guard halberds, Reiters mounted gunners etc, i altered the unit textures, horses, banners & attachments & gave them the white crosses of the Order & added some other minor edits, like making the Forlorn Hope & Turkish Hashishim units from 60 per unit to 120 per unit. This battle is NOT historical, but i thought if i'd make my knights defending some fort or highground, while repelling a large army of Late era Turks, it would look a bit more realistic.

Óbidos - Portugal - Medieval Town - Mittelalterliche Stadt - Canon 550D
Material utilizado na produção do filme: Canon 550D Pan and Tilt motorized head CPL filter Slide camera Contrary to what one might think, the name does not derive from Óbidos paronym deaths, but the Latin word oppidum, meaning "citadel", "fortified city". Around it stands the Roman settlement of Eburobrittium. Have been taken from the Moors in 1148, and ...

MANDALABAND - IV - The Kingdom of Aragon (PR). Music [by permission]. 'The Kingdom of Aragon' is a song from the album AD - Sangreal (released February 2011), written by Jose Manuel Medina, David Rohl and Cindy Spear, with Dave Durant on vocals. The video shows locations and artefacts related to the Romano-Spanish tradition of the Holy Grail, which came from Rome to the Spanish kingdom of Aragon in the 3rd century AD. The Grail was kept in secret hiding places for several centuries, the most important of which was San Juan de la Peña which became the Grail Castle of the medieval romances. The greatest guardian of the Holy Grail was Alfonso I of Aragon who was the legendary Grail King Anfortas of Wolfram von Eschenbach's story of Parsifal. © MANDALABAND +++ www.Mandalaband.co.uk www.myspace.com/mandalaband3 www.edunitsky.com +++ Band Members: DAVID ROHL: Producer/Engineer, composer, arranger, keyboards, vocals, archaeology and the clever-clogs of the outfit. Blues for the Great Discovery
INFO TO THE VIEWER: This video is not intended to prove that Christopher Columbus was the first to arrive to America. We know that before the Spanish expedition other humans were in that vast continent, but from the historic point of view, the only one trip with true importance and deep consequences in the historic, religious economic and political fields was made in 1492 by Christopher Columbus and his crew. Having said that let me clarify that my sole intention is to show the places which gave birth to the so-called "Discovery of America" and add some historical aspects unknown to most people and written in the following description. Thanks for your visit and understanding. One of the most significant dates during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs was 12th October 1492: the named Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. The fact that Columbus appealed to a foreign court to offer his services proved that the Discovery of America was not incidental. In fact Columbus recieved the letters of navigation to the unknown lands from "Alonso Sánchez de Huelva" The Columbus first intention was to offer his project to John II , king of Portugal, as his country was then more advanced exploring the Atlantic south along the African coast. The king's advisers rejected the project by considering, the Columbus calculations wrong and the distance to Asia much higher too. For some dark matter, Columbus had to flee from Portugal and seek help in Castile. But, why Columbus went to ...

THE PILLAR IN ZARAGOZA, SPAIN
The Basilica--Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar (Spanish: Catedral-Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar) is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. The Basilica venerates Blessed Virgin Mary, under her title Our Lady of the Pillar[1] praised as Mother of the Hispanic Peoples by Pope John Paul II. It is reputed to be the first church dedicated to Mary in history. Local traditions take the history of this basilica to the dawn of Christianity in Spain attributing to an apparition to Saint James the Great, the apostle who had brought Christianity to the country. This is the only known apparition of Mary to have occurred before her Assumption. Many of the kings of Spain, many other foreign rulers and saints have paid their devotion before this statue of Mary. Saint John of the Cross, Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and Blessed William Joseph Chaminade are among the most outstanding ones. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar is one of two minor basilicas in the city of Zaragoza, and is co-cathedral of the city alongside the nearby La Seo Cathedral. The architecture is of Baroque style, and the present building was predominantly built between 1681 and 1872.

Tex Productions™ has all rights to this video and is under copyright. This video was made by Tex Productions™ and Legend Films© Redemptions End is the story of a man who is sent off to fight in the Vietnam war. When he is on a scouting mission he is caught under enemy fire. He then makes his escape to survive and fight for his country. This video was filmed with only three people in the middle of a insect infested swamp. There was only one actor for the majority of the movie and only one director and one camera man. The filming lasted only 3 days total and it took only one full day to edit. This was an extremely low costing film having us spend only $15.00, all of the money was used to buy the Class A military uniform. I know i can speak for everyone when I say that this was one of the hardest films we could have ever done with the resources we had.
