Korea real history- Koryo Dynasty霜花店A Frozen Flower (movie)
Korea-Koryo Dynasty(918-1392), Korea gets its name from this kingdom which came to be pronounced Korea. The Koryo Dynasty or Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392) was a Korean sovereign state established in 918 by Emperor Taejo. Korea gets its name from this kingdom which came to be pronounced Korea. The film is set in Koryo Dynasty Korea and stars Jo In-seong, Ju Jin-mo and Song Ji-hyo. The historical background is to some degree the reign of Gongmin of Koryo (1330--1374), but the film doesn't strictly comply with historical facts. -Plot The king of Goryeo Dynasty Korea has a palace guard composed of thirty six young soldiers, led by military commander Hong-lim. The King marries a Yuan Dynasty princess, but they do not have any children, because the King is not attracted to women. There is constant pressure upon the King both from the Yuan emperor and the Goryo Kingdom to produce a crown prince and ensure the continuity of its royal dynasty. The King finally decides to charge his bodyguard and lover, Hong-lim, with a strange commission: make love to the Queen and beget a child. Hong-lim and the Queen are uncomfortable accepting the royal order, but they finally comply. However, their relationship does not stop at sexual contact, but a true love bursts into flowers between the two, and in this intimate relationship there is no place for the King. The two lovers surpass their "official mission" and continue to meet each other at midnight in the library. The King begins to suspect Hong ...

Goryeo--Khitan Wars
This story is about two Altai people or Turanian which are Korean and East Mongolian branch(Khitan) to have East Asia's supremacy at 10C The Goryeo-Khitan Wars were a series of 10th- and 11th-century invasions of Korea's Goryeo Dynasty by the Khitan Liao Dynasty During the Three Kingdoms of Korea period, Goguryeo occupied the northern Korean Peninsula and parts of Manchuria. With Goguryeo's fall in 668, Silla unified the Three Kingdoms, . A former Goguryeo general revived Goguryeo's Manchurian territory as the new kingdom of Balhae. Right after the fall of Goguryeo, Turkic peoples (called Göktürks) were divided and Another Turkic tribe, the Uyghurs, replaced the Göktürks their control was also strong. As Balhae, the Uyghur and the Tang Dynasty weakened, the Khitan people, a nomadic confederation located in Manchuria and eastern Mongolia who spoke the Mongolic Khitan language, grew stronger and began to expand their territory. Following Tang's fall in 907, China experienced a long period of civil war. In 911, threatened by Khitan expansion, Balhae sought assistance from the declining Silla of the Korean Peninsula. Records stated that Balhae also requested help from Silla's successor dynasty Goryeo during the Later Three Kingdoms. In 916, the Liao Dynasty was founded by the Khitan chief Yelü Abaoji, replacing the Uyghurs as the dominant power of present-day Mongolia. On the Korean Peninsula, Goryeo founded in 918. The Khitan in 926 destroyed Balhae, and many of Balhae's ...

PULGUK-SA South Korea
At the foot of Mount Tohamsan, in the region of Gyeongju is South Korea's impressive Bulguksa 'Pulguk-Sa' Temple. In the middle of the 8th century, while under the rule of Silla monarch, King Gyeongdeok, the sanctuary was enlarged with various fine buildings. In 774 AD, the beautifully decorated temple was given its name of Bulguksa, 'the Temple of Buddha Land'. During the 500 years of the Goryeo Dynasty, several kings influenced the buildings of the BulguksaTemple, thus its architecture is something of a mixture. In the first courtyard of the temple complex there are some fine stone pagodas, particularly the three story high Dabotap Pagoda. The original beauty of the buildings has withstood the often violent history of South Korea and Bulguksa Temple is still regarded both as a masterpiece of Buddhist art and the home of many of Korea's national treasures.

History of Korea5(answer video)
5.The Goryeo Dynasty (918 - 1392) The Goryeo Dynasty was established in 918. Buddhism became the state religion during this time and greatly influenced politics and culture. Famous items produced during this time include Goryeo celadon and the Tripitaka Koreana. Jikjisimgyeong, Buddhist scripture printed with the world's first movable metal type developed in Korea during the Goryeo Dynasty, is at least 78 years older than the first Gutenberg Bible. The Goryeo Dynasty's strength decreased gradually in the latter half of the 14th century. - The source of news: visitkorea.or.kr -

Mad Dog the Creator - 바다 바다 道 (Korean Shock Salesmen)
Korea (Korean: 한국 or 조선) is a civilization and formerly unified nation currently divided into two states. Located on the Korean Peninsula, it borders China to the northwest, Russia to the northeast, and is separated from Japan to the east by the Korea Strait. Korea was united until 1948; at that time it was split into South Korea and North Korea. South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea, is a capitalist, democratic and developed country, with memberships in the United Nations, WTO, OECD and G-20 major economies. North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is a single-party communist country founded by Kim Il-sung and currently led by his son Kim-Jong-il. North Korea currently has membership in the United Nations. Archaeological and linguistic evidence suggest the origins of the Korean people were in Altaic language-speaking migrants from south-central Siberia,[1] who populated ancient Korea in successive waves from the Neolithic age to the Bronze Age.[2] The adoption of the Chinese writing system ("Hanja" in Korean) in the 2nd century BCE, and Buddhism in the 4th century CE, had profound effects on the Three Kingdoms of Korea. Korea later passed on a modified version of these cultural advances to Japan.[3][4][5][6] Since the Goryeo Dynasty, Korea was ruled by a single government and maintained political and cultural independence until the 20th century, despite the Mongol invasions of the Goryeo Dynasty in the 13th century and Japanese ...
