The idea that a God exists and is elusive to the point of being indistinguishable from a reality in which he doesn't exist, gives no reason to believe in him.

Your God Sucks... But It's Nothing Personal
Why do you, as a theist, take this statement to be a personal attack? This video addresses the issue of bridging the gap between a philosophical conclusion based on perceived evidence and an attack of a personal nature.
Also, I am introducing a new series of upcoming videos called, "Why Didn't YOUR God Think Of That?" Check it out...

Arguments for a Personal Cause of the Universe
For more resources visit: http://www.reasonablefaith.org
Dr. William Lane Craig outlines two arguments for why the cause of the universe is a personal God, rather than an impersonal set of necessary and sufficient conditions. He then goes on to explain how his atheist opponent, Prof. Lewis Wolpert, accidentally argues for a personal God himself by trying to re-define "a special computer" as an alternative cause! 1 of 2 - God is a Personal God - Billy Crone
Danger! Danger! The alarm has been sounded! The American Church is under attack! The Body of Christ has been fallen under a horrible epidemic where believers in God no longer believe in God! People, believe it or not, we now have Churches full of people who are living like practical atheists. Oh, we say we believe in God, but half the time we act like He's not even there. How? With our lips and with our lives. And this is not only detrimental in our walk with God, it keeps others from believing in God. Therefore, to avoid this irony of Christian's living like a practical atheists, God is Personal reveals that even though God is Independent and Immense, He still wants a Personal relationship with each one of us. And if we truly understand this, it'll Change Your Prayers, Your Singing, Your Walk, and Your Loneliness. And this is the awesome message we have the privilege to tell to the nations. "God not only exists, but through Jesus Christ, people really can have an intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the universe!" But if the world is ever going to believe our message, then you and I must stop acting like practical atheists and start demonstrating by our lips as well as our lives that God is Personal.

The Real God: An Epiphany
Because I was constantly being told that I'm rejecting God, and I knew that wasn't true, I decided to research rejection, which made me aware of its effects. My studies took me in a completely unexpected direction. The epiphany (pun intended) was rather shocking. The evidence indicates that the personal god is a manifestation of the ego, which explains a plethora of theistic tendencies, including their typical dislike of atheists, who theists subconsciously perceive to be rejecting a part of themselves. God is Tyler Durden; and the first rule of Jesus Club is you have to talk about Jesus Club. The second rule of Jesus Club is you have to talk about Jesus Club.

Dr Francis Collins believes in a personal God
Dr Francis Collins (Director of the National Human Genome Research Institute) explains why he believes in a personal God and how his faith is compatible with science.
From Wikipedia:
Francis S. Collins (born April 14, 1950), M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-geneticist, noted for his landmark discoveries of disease genes, and his leadership of the Human Genome Project (HGP). He is director of the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI).
With Collins at the helm, the HGP has attained several milestones, while running ahead of schedule and under budget. A working draft of the human genome was announced in June 2000, and Collins was joined by US President Bill Clinton and rival scientist Craig Venter in making the announcement.[1] Venter and Collins thus shared the "Biography of the Year" title from A&E; Network.[2] An initial analysis was published in February 2001. HGP scientists continued to work toward finishing the sequence of all three billion base pairs by 2003, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Watson and Crick's seminal publication of the structure of DNA.

Personal Prayer to Dear God | Dear God personal prayer
You can learn more about personal prayer here: http://bit.ly/UKkxUt
The loveliest expressions of pure and simple faith are the innocent prayers of children, who simply talk to their "Dear God" in their own words.
Although they seem silly and childish sometimes, don't estimate the power of these prayers.
Spoken from pure hearts, these personal prayers most certainly ascend straight to the heavenly
In Judaism we use personal prayers a lot. We pray three times a day and we insert our own personal prayer inside your davening. Personal prayer is one of the most important parts of prayer. We have to ask god for what we need.
Rabbi Lazer Bordy of Breslev Israel new video is trying to teach people about how to recite a personal prayer.
Throne.

Dear God
The pure and innocent prayers of children.
Dear God, did You really want the camel to have a hump on his back or was it a mistake?
Dear God, I know that You're higher than everybody else.
If You ever get lonely, You can always come and play with me.
Dear God, thanks for my baby brother, but what I prayed for was a talking parrot.
Dear God, please don't do things that make people mad, so they won't have to say those words that we're not supposed to say.
Dear God, please send me have a ride on an airplane. I never asked for anything before. You can look it up.
Dear God, I would love to visit You, but isn't it scary to be so high in the air?
Dear God, I think about you lots of times, even when I'm not praying.
Dear God, I bet it is hard for You to love all the people in the world. There are only six people in our family and I can never do it.
Dear God, in public school, they taught us that Thomas Edison made light. But in Sunday school, I learned that You did it. I bet he stole your idea.
Dear God, I don't think anybody could be a better God. I just wanted You to know that I love You even more than I love Winnie the Poo.
Dear God, is Grandpa really up in the sky with You? He can't hug me anymore and I miss that. Will you hug me? That way, I'll never be afraid.
Dear God, I know lots of people just say it, but I really love You.
Let me have sweet dreams; good night!

The Noumenal Cause and the Personal God by Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrtijii
Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar
(Shrii Shrii Anandamurti)
Modern writer, philosopher, scientist, social theorist, and spiritual leader, Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has attracted a following in more than 130 countries. His books have been translated into all the world's major languages, and his unique blend of historical perspective and social commentary has been the inspiration for social activists seeking progressive alternatives to capitalism and communism.
From his early childhood in Bihar, India, where he was born in 1921, Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar has been attracting others by his deep love for humanity and guiding them along the path of self-realization. Adjusting the ancient science of Tantra Yoga to meet the needs of this age, he developed a scientific and rational philosophy (based on the immanence and transcendence of God) and taught a system of practical spiritual disciplines for physical, mental and spiritual development. Recognizing him as a spiritually realized master, his followers called him Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, which means, "He who attracts others as the embodiment of bliss", or simply "Baba" (father).
Those who followed his teachings found their lives transformed as they overcame the weaknesses and negative tendencies of the mind to experience a deep peace and bliss within. Inspired by his selfless example, they focused their efforts on serving the society and elevating the oppressed.]
ÁNANDA MÁRGA: "Path of Bliss"
Ananda means "bliss" and Marga means "path."
So Ananda Marga means "Path of Bliss."
Bliss is infinite happiness. It is the fundamental desire of human beings. "There is in the living being a thirst for limitlessness." We can never be satisfied with limited things. They may give us pleasure for a while, but not long-lasting satisfaction. A limited object can only give a temporary and limited amount of happiness. But only infinite happiness will satisfy us. So how are we to attain it? By expanding our awareness to infinity; by transforming our individual limited experience into the cosmic experience of the unlimited: infinite happiness; perfect peace and contentment bliss.
Ananda Marga is the name of the system which allows us to do that. It is an optimal selection of those techniques and practices that lead to the total experience of infinite peace and happiness what we call "self-realization." It is an ideology and way of life; a systematic and scientific process for the fulfillment of all human needs: physical, mental and spiritual. It is introversial, intuitional practice; with techniques ranging from personal hygiene to yoga postures; from social service to meditation. Its goal is the all-round elevation of human beings, both individually and collectively, in all spheres of human existence: individual, social, economic, intellectual and spiritual. It is a total response to human longing and aspiration.
As an organization, Ananda Marga has a global network of centers in virtually every country of the world. Its activities encompass a wide range of projects for the welfare of humanity, animals, plants and the whole planet. These include yoga and meditation centers, schools, childrens homes, food distribution centers, disaster relief, medical centers and community development projects. Emphasis is placed on meeting the needs of the local people and assisting them in developing their personal and social resources for the prosperity of all.
The philosophy of Ananda Marga is one of universalism. It is an all-embracing outlook, recognizing God as the one limitless supreme consciousness, with all beings of the universe part of the one cosmic family.
It recognizes that a balance is needed between the spiritual and mundane aspects of existence, and that neither one should be neglected at the expense of the other. Hence the goal of Ananda Marga is "Self-realization and the welfare of the universe."
Ananda Marga is a global spiritual and social service organization founded in 1955 by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar). The mission of Ananda Marga is self-realization (individual emancipation) and service to humanity (collective welfare): the fulfillment of the physical, mental and spiritual needs of all people. Through its meditation centers and service projects around the world, Ananda Marga offers instruction in meditation, yoga and other self-development practices on a non-commercial basis, and responds to social emergencies and long-term social needs

In 2010, scientists succeeded in recreating a miniature version of the Big Bang.
Within a few years, some of the universe's deepest secrets may be unlocked.
Genesis is another self-initiated personal project that I've written, designed and animated single handedly. It's a 3D short film with a story that revolves around a machine that has the power of creating new, miniature universes. By controlling the universe rotation, it can speed up the time and evolution of the miniature worlds, and with the help of a fancy search engine it can pin point and extract terrestrial planets. Well, it's not very scientifically correct by any means.. Or is it..? You might live in a manufactured miniature world..
Anyway, what would mankind do if they possessed the power of creating new worlds? Probably use it for creating some kind of decorative snow globe. Guaranteed gift of the year.
Well, it's not all science fiction, I actually got inspired after reading some interesting articles about the European science agency CERN, who designed the world's biggest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider. This accelerator shoot beams around a freezing 27km concrete ring underground near Geneva, smashing atoms together in search of the elusive "God particle" believed present at the Big Bang. Since it began operating at the end of March 2010, CERN engineers and physicists have created billions of miniature versions of the Big Bang, revealing fundamental insights into the nature of the cosmos.
Also, at Lancaster University in UK, physicists unraveling the secrets of how to build a universe. In fact, they have already formed one, or something very much like it. This scientific breakthrough lies in the bottom of a chamber no larger than a pinky finger, filled with helium and cooled to 0.0003 degrees Fahrenheit above absolute zero.

DEUS EX HOMINE - San Francisco 3D Moco Time-lapse by Golden Gate 3D (GG3D)
This was a stereoscopic 3D motion-controlled (moco) time-lapse test for an upcoming Golden Gate 3D (GG3D) http://gg3d.com project. Ideally, it should be viewed in S3D.
View it in 3D at YouTube 3D: http://youtu.be/0quUxvXtHPw
You can select from various anaglyph (colored glasses) and stereo modes.
NVIDIA has chosen "Deus Ex Homine" as "Best 3D Video of 2011": http://www.3dvisionlive.com/content/best-3d-video-2011
If you have NVIDIA 3D Vision, you can also view at NVIDIA's 3D Vision Live, which offers a higher quality stream than YouTube: http://www.3dvisionlive.com/3d_video/deus-ex-homine-san-francisco-3d-moco-time-lapse
"Deus Ex Homine" comes from Latin meaning "god built by humans." That "god" might be the tools - our machines and technologies, the city - our caves of concrete and steel, and the networks - the highways and waterways that are the lifeblood of our cities. With our technology, we conquered and reshaped the natural world. As we have overrun our planet's surface, more and more of us live in the fantastically complex artificial biomes that are our cities. Modern societies and economies depend on these constructs. Bridges and servers connect us, cars and planes move us, farms and restaurants feed us, and cargo ships and oil tankers make it all possible. The "Makers" among us forge machines - electromechanical gods - that reshape and govern humanity. Automobiles. Typewriters. Computers. The Robot Maker creates machines in our image, striving to infuse them with intelligence, emotion, and sentience. Perhaps some day they will surpass us. They already have in many ways. Perhaps we will re-engineer ourselves, integrating man and machine. Deus ex homine (deus?).
Brad Kremer and Stewart Mayer of camBLOCK flew out for three days of shooting at the end of March. It rained the entire time they were in town so we were confined to interiors, which turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise since those shots turned out to be some of the more impressive ones in 3D. After the weather cleared, I shot for an additional nine days around San Francisco with assistance from Simon Christen, Noah Hawthorne, Christopher Fuzi, Robert Mooring, Josh Golz, and Paul Leeming.
Canon 5D Mark II's were used in both parallel and beamsplitter configurations for true, native stereo capture at 5.6K resolution RAW. The camBLOCK and Dynamic Perception were used for motion control. There were some major technical hurdles with both capture and post, but once we saw the results in 3D, it was well worth it.
Special thanks to Jeremy Mayer, Cisco Systems, Gather Restaurant, San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, The Millennium Tower, The Port of Oakland, and the San Francisco Film Commission for giving us access to some great locations and subjects on short notice.

Jeremy Mayer - Typewriter Sculptor
http://jeremymayer.com
http://twitter.com/JeremyMayer
Jeremy Mayer on Bust V (Grandfather): "The initial inspiration for the piece was that I wanted to create a self-portrait in my old age, so it's based on me, my dad, and my grandfather. I wanted to say something about aging, transition (particularly transition into new technology), and the place of the personal mechanical machine in modern society, all without making the piece look too 'robotic'. A lot of the sculpture I've done over the years has been ideal human figures: youthful, athletic, and kind of sexy. With this one I wanted to create a face that was more aged and worn, the face of a person who was tired, maybe a little forlorn and weary, but proud and dignified even after a life lived with a lot of difficulty and pain. With all of the news about the closing of the world's last manual typewriter assembly line, Godrej in India, and all of the buzz about typewriters in popular culture, I sense a great deal of nervousness in general about the advance of technology and what that means for people who are unwilling or unable to move on to the next step. I feel like this piece speaks of that worry in many ways."

Music Background info:
This song started out as a remix of one of the themes from the movie Tron. But when I played around with the chords it became something completely different. I'm not sure how to label it in terms of music style. All I can say is that I'm quite happy with the result and hope you are too.
Video Background info:
The two girls in this video are just breathtakingly beautiful. For me they both are in the same league as my favorite Bethanie Baderstscher (model from my video 'f yeah'). I find it pretty rare to see women who just by one glance can melt you down. Kinda scary, wouldn't you agree?
I chose the title/theme 'lust' as it seems like a very natural feeling towards these girls.
Being a happy atheist I get to have a go at the Bible's frustrating way of dealing with this topic. While most religions try to convince you of the hidden evil, I would rather suggest celebrating 'lust'. It's the pure raw animal instinct that has driving billions of years of evolution.
Funny how looking at these angels would almost make me believe there must be a god 8-)

First of all, let me credit Playboy for providing the high quality footage in this video! I'm pretty sure that the video plays a large role in introducing my music to a worldwide audience. For several reasons, I had to cut out most the 'cracks and nipples' from the original footage. But apparently not enough, for it was banned from youtube. However, the original footage was even kinkier. I don't need a lawsuit from Playboy. But, don't let me stop you from downloading the uncensored video from the playboy website. hair-whip heartbreak
Naomi is 16, and works with us at photography factory when she is off school pretty much as an equal member. Lets be honest age is irrelevant in a great picture, plus she has a sense of the social media space to rival the best new media agency analysts. All the newest trends are always playing out as only she predicts. Her detailed clear and analysis of youth culture on the internet is worth a million dollars to us and she is a key member of our team. More importantly her simple black and white photographic portraits are utterly brilliant, an evocation of sub suburban teenage life as seen though the eyes of a 15 (now 16) year old girl. But on the day of this slow motion test Naomi was not her normal beautiful smiling dry sarcastic self (think Juno with a camera). Recently she had a relationship with a Hollister lookalike boy end in an unfair way (what was ever fair about being 16?) and have to get it all dragged around the internet as the aftermath played out on FaceBook in a very modern and very public way. So in other words she was putting on a brave face. We all involved setting up the high speed camera and needed someone to stand in as a lighting dummy, When shooter one had the idea to getting someone to shake their hair around... and see how it might look at 2000 fps. Naomi stepped up to the plate and quite shocked us by the force and passion she used to whip. The beguiling result is here... if you look at here closely you can see something else:
Something about that action and the air swishing though her hair just seemed to change her mood, as if she had just tossed away the weight of an the old nightmare, something thick and heavy that had been clinging to her, but suddenly it was gone. As she was hair whipping for the camera, shooter one quietly said to himself:
"Go girl, shake that boy right out of your hair..."
