Roger Glover - Love Is All from The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast 1974
Vocals: Ronnie James Dio (Passed away today, May 16, 2010 at 7:45 AM at 67). From Roger Glover's concept album "The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast". This music video is best remembered by US viewers as featured on the 1980's TV shows Pinwheel on Nickelodeon and Night Flight on the USA network. The song and the characters are based on a 1973 children's picture book of the same name by Alan Aldridge and William Plomer, which was loosely based on an 1802 poem by William Roscoe entitled "The Butterfly's Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast" (notice the apostrophe after butterfly), which tells the story of small woodland creatures who put aside their differences temporarily for a party.
