Metro Bank Park
Metro Bank Park is a baseball park in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is the home field of the Harrisburg Senators minor league baseball team. The original structure was built in 1987 and it was called Riverside Stadium until 2004. Currently, the ballpark has a capacity of 6,187 people. Part of my "Reflections" series. The Golden Gate Quartet formed in the mid 30s and is perhaps the best known of the jubilee style gospel quartets, having their heyday mostly during the 40s. They disbanded in the late 40s but regrouped in 1955, performing mostly in Europe. Their style can be heard in almost all gospel groups that followed and their influence on Elvis Presley (and their arrangement) can be heard in his rendition of Swing Down Sweet Chariot.

ABOUT US:
The first ever Dance Live Company was created in 2001 by Joshua Guess; as a component of the Riverside County Friday Night Live Partnership. Dance Live is an official Substance Abuse Prevention Program filled with a culturally diverse group of youth who represent various high schools and cities within Riverside County. Dance Live uniquely integrates dance with promoting a healthy message of living ALCOHOL, TOBACCO & DRUG-FREE in efforts of initiating positive change in schools and communities. To effectively do this we receive training in developing and expanding our public speaking skills and obtain professional choreography instruction to enhance our dance performances. We have a blast performing the most fresh and hip moves in popular dance today! Our motto is: "We don't just dance*we Dance Live!"
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Dance Live presents, on average, twice a month at various elementary, middle & high schools, community health fairs and conferences in and outside the County of Riverside. We value the experience of being able to dance and provide community outreach simultaneously. In addition to our high-energy presentations we facilitate a very informative workshop that outlines body awareness, individuality, self worth, and health in conjunction with prevention. As a community service/performing arts program Dance Live students may be eligible to receive elective credits (Fine Art, Community Service or P.E.) for all hours volunteered in their community at the high school he/she attends.
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
TEENWORK: Annually we attend Teenwork, a statewide leadership conference planned by and for young people. The four days and three nights training are attended by hundreds of students from various areas in the State of California. We have the opportunity to develop our skills and build meaningful partnerships through interaction. Various activities include attending general sessions, planning meetings and teen-led workshops regarding an assortment of issues designed to provide knowledge on how we, as young people, can aid in bettering the lives of both youth and adults in our community. APLICANT CRITERIA:
* Enrolled or enrolling into any high school within Riverside County
* Have and maintain a 2.5 GPA or above
* Interested in addressing alcohol, tobacco, drug and violence issues
* Someone who feels comfortable working with a diverse group of youth and adults
* Able to commit extra curricular time to attend Dance Live rehearsals and performances
* Capable of providing your own transportation to and from rehearsal (transportation may be available if you cannot)
*Committed towards living a positive and healthy lifestyle

Under Manhattan’s Upper West side, runs the “Freedom” Tunnel. Built in the 30’s by Robert Moses, the passage boasts legendary graffiti murals and piles of debris remaining of the past homeless city era. After using it for only a couple of years, Amtrak discontinued the line and left a massive cavern which later became a shelter for street people. Progressively, the tunnel turned into a veritable underground metropolis where thousands of homeless were living in organized communities underneath the city’s skin.
The tunnel also became a prime spot for graffiti artists. Chris Pape, aka Freedom, was one of the pioneers and his work inspired the name of the tunnel. “Freedom” painted immense murals utilizing the unique lighting provided by the ventilation ducts, turning the tunnel into an extraordinary underground art gallery. Some of his most notable paintings survived for decades and are still conspicuous today (“Venus de Milo”, the “Coca-Cola Mural”, Dali’s “Melting Clock”,a self-portrait featuring a male torso with a spray-can head, etc.).
In 1991, Amtrak decided to reopen the tunnel. The shanty towns were cleared out by the police and homeless were evicted. Although deserted, the tunnel is now an active train line and a stunning experience for urban explorers.
It is a bizarre blend of dark and light, silence and rumble, solitude and multitude. As you penetrate the tunnel and walk along the tracks, the sunbeams perforating the ceiling and highlighting the railway gives the place a post-nuclear feel. Voices from children playing above in Riverside Park sound like lost souls and trains whistling and roaring through the ruins of the shanty towns send chills down your spine.
This is one of the most uncommon and fascinating journeys I’ve ever taken.

Part of my "Reflections" series. The Golden Gate Quartet formed in the mid 30s and is perhaps the best known of the jubilee style gospel quartets, having their heyday mostly during the 40s. They disbanded in the late 40s but regrouped in 1955, performing mostly in Europe. Their style can be heard in almost all gospel groups that followed and their influence on Elvis Presley (and their arrangement) can be heard in his rendition of Swing Down Sweet Chariot.

Under Manhattan’s Upper West side, runs the “Freedom” Tunnel. Built in the 30’s by Robert Moses, the passage boasts legendary graffiti murals and piles of debris remaining of the past homeless city era. After using it for only a couple of years, Amtrak discontinued the line and left a massive cavern which later became a shelter for street people. Progressively, the tunnel turned into a veritable underground metropolis where thousands of homeless were living in organized communities underneath the city’s skin.
The tunnel also became a prime spot for graffiti artists. Chris Pape, aka Freedom, was one of the pioneers and his work inspired the name of the tunnel. “Freedom” painted immense murals utilizing the unique lighting provided by the ventilation ducts, turning the tunnel into an extraordinary underground art gallery. Some of his most notable paintings survived for decades and are still conspicuous today (“Venus de Milo”, the “Coca-Cola Mural”, Dali’s “Melting Clock”,a self-portrait featuring a male torso with a spray-can head, etc.).
In 1991, Amtrak decided to reopen the tunnel. The shanty towns were cleared out by the police and homeless were evicted. Although deserted, the tunnel is now an active train line and a stunning experience for urban explorers.
It is a bizarre blend of dark and light, silence and rumble, solitude and multitude. As you penetrate the tunnel and walk along the tracks, the sunbeams perforating the ceiling and highlighting the railway gives the place a post-nuclear feel. Voices from children playing above in Riverside Park sound like lost souls and trains whistling and roaring through the ruins of the shanty towns send chills down your spine.
This is one of the most uncommon and fascinating journeys I’ve ever taken.

Sidney Samson (born 2 October 1981) is a Dutch DJ and dance musician. Samson started DJing at the age of 13, focusing on hip hop music before working seriously on house music from 1999.[1][2] He is a resident DJ at The Matrixx, a major Dutch nightclub and released "Bring That Beat Back" and "It’s all funked up" on the digidance and Spinnin' Records labels respectively.[2][3] After collaborating with Gregor Salto, he formed his own record label, Samsobeats, in 2007.
Samson managed to get his debut single "Riverside" to #1 on the Dutch Top 40,[4] #9 on the Australian ARIA Charts,[5] #1 on the Irish Singles Chart, and #2 on the UK Singles Chart.[6]
He released his second single "Shut Up and Let It Go" (featuring Lady Bee) in February 2010.[2]

Motherfucker (sometimes abbreviated as mofo, mf, or mf'er) is an American vulgarism. Its literal sense, referring to one who participates in sexual intercourse with a mother, either someone else's, or his own is seldom implied. Rather, it refers to a mean, despicable, or vicious person, or any particularly difficult or frustrating situation or alternatively as an inverted praise of the individual or thing's "badness". Due to the semiotics, it is not generally applied personally to females, a personal direct object referred to as such is invariably male.[1]

Like many widely used offensive terms, motherfucker has a large list of minced oaths. Motherhumper, motherfugger, mother f'er, mothersucker, motherlover, mofo, motherflower, motherkisser and many more are sometimes used in polite company or to avoid censorship.[2] The participle motherfucking is often used as an emphatic, in the same way as the less strong fucking. The verb to motherfuck also exists, although it is less common. Conversely, when paired with an adjective, it can become a term denoting such things as originality and masculinity, as in the related phrase "bad ass mother fucker".

Usually the word 'motherfucker' is used in place of a noun in a sentence, such as: That trig problem was a real motherfucker.
Almost always, the word does not actually imply that someone has had sex with his own or another person's mother. Instead it is understood as a swear word, related to the usage of parent word "fuck."
The word is also commonly used as an expletive. For example if a person is told an incredible tale or description of an event they may respond with "Motherfucker" said slowly.
Popular culture[link]
The word appears in George Carlin's Seven Words You Can't Say on Television. In one HBO special, he comments that at one point, someone asked him to remove it, since, as a derivative of the word "fuck," it constituted a duplication.[3] He later added it back, claiming that the bit's rhythm doesn't work without it.[3]
Kurt Vonnegut's classic novel Slaughterhouse-Five has, since its original publication, been challenged in libraries and schools on the grounds that the word is used occasionally by the soldiers in the story. Vonnegut later joked in a speech, published in the collection Fates Worse Than Death, that "Ever since that word was published, way back in 1969, children have been attempting to have intercourse with their mothers. When it will stop no one knows."[4]
Richard Pryor used to the word frequently in his skits. Sometimes, in a, perhaps almost ironic fashion, he even used it with a sense of endearment. [5]
The word has become something of a catchphrase for Samuel L. Jackson, who frequently utters the word in his movies.[6]
The Motherfucker with the Hat is a 2011 Broadway play.
