Kill Devil is a Japanese movie about a group of juvenile delinquents in the year 2025. The juveniles are host to a "murder gene", and are sent to an uninhabited island by the government so that they can be rehabilitated. The government studies the causes of the gene, and implants an experiment on the juveniles called a "Tag". The Tag gives the juveniles murder impulses and memory loss, and both boys and girls start to brutally kill each other.

This movie is being distributed by AsiaVision, the Asian live-action label from Urban Vision Entertainment.

Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

Kill Devil Hills is a town in Dare County, North Carolina. The population was 6,683 at the 2010 census, up from 5,897 in 2000. The Kill Devil Hills Micropolitan Statistical Area is part of the larger Virginia Beach-Norfolk, VA-NC Combined Statistical Area.

The town is home to the site of the Wright brothers' first controlled, powered airplane flights on December 17, 1903, which were commemorated by the Kill Devil Hill Monument, which was dedicated in 1932. At the time of their flight, the town of Kill Devil Hills did not exist, having received its municipal charter in 1953.Kitty Hawk, popularly noted as the site of the famous flights, is approximately four miles (6 km) to the north, and was the nearest settlement at the time of the famous flight.

History

Kill Devil Hills is the site of the Wright Brothers National Memorial, commemorating the siblings' four powered airplane flights of Thursday, December 17, 1903. Orville returned in 1911, and on October 25 he set a new world glider record, remaining in the air 10 minutes and 34 seconds, soaring against the wind with very little forward movement.

The Kill Devil Hills were formed in 2003 in Fremantle, Western Australia, as an acoustic, country-tinged 3-piece, which slowly swelled its ranks to become a 6-piece outfit.

The Kill Devil Hills released their debut album Heathen Songs in August 2004 and nationally in February 2005 on Reverberation Records. In the same month, The Kill Devil Hills were nominated for 6 WAMi Awards taking home "Best Blues/Roots Act" and "Best Country Music Act". Triple J picked up the album, with Heathen Songs receiving a lot of airplay on a variety of shows and then being chosen as one of Triple J's 'fresh Crop' Artists of 2005 The Kill Devil Hills have been featured on Triple J's "Like A Version", JTV and the Lonely Planet documentary series "Six Degrees" on SBS. The band were hand picked to perform at The West Coast Blues & Roots Festival 2005, and were a favourite at The Bridgetown Blues Festival 2005, where they played on stages with the likes of The Black Keys, The Mountain Goats, The Living End, Dallas Crane, The Mess Hall, Kim Salmon, Jebediah, The Panics and The Drones just to name a few. There was a short tour of the east coast in May 2005, winning hearts all over the country. They were then invited back to Sydney for shows in November the same year.

The Kill

"The Kill" (written "The Kill (Bury Me)" on the single and music video) is a song by American band Thirty Seconds to Mars, the song was released as the second single from their second album, A Beautiful Lie.

The cover art of the single depicts a Venus flytrap.

Overview

Jared Leto described the meaning of the song as, "It's really about a relationship with yourself. It's about confronting your fear and confronting the truth about who you are." He has also said it is about "confrontation as a crossroads" — coming face-to-face with who you really are.

In September 2007, "The Kill" was re-released again in the UK. It was also available as a Compact Disc with a A Beautiful Lie poster and two stickers, and a special limited edition 7" vinyl version. The song is played in 6/8 time.

Two alternate versions of the songs exist: the "Rebirth" version, which adds in orchestral accompaniment and has no screaming, and an acoustic version featuring Brazilian singer Pitty that was only released in Brazil. On May 2, 2010, the band performed the song live with Chino Moreno from Deftones.
