Good Times Bad Times

"Good Times Bad Times" is a song by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, featured as the opening track on their 1969 debut album Led Zeppelin.

Composition

For the lead guitar solo, guitarist Jimmy Page passed his Fender Telecaster guitar through a Leslie speaker to create a swirling effect. This type of speaker contains a rotating horn enclosure and was designed for a Hammond organ. However, guitars could be used with it. In an interview, he gave to Guitar World magazine in 1993, Page explained that:

Page, also the band's producer, placed microphones all over the recording studio to capture a live sound when this song was recorded.

This song is also notable for drummer John Bonham's repeated use of a series of two sixteenth-note triplets on a single bass drum, an effect many subsequent rock drummers have imitated, and as well as keeping the hi-hat playing eighth notes throughout almost the entire song with his left foot. Bonham had reportedly developed this technique after listening to Vanilla Fudge. He was unaware that drummer Carmine Appice was actually playing on a double bass set. As Page has stated:

Good Times, Bad Times... Ten Years of Godsmack is a greatest hits collection by the heavy metal band Godsmack. The collection includes all of Godsmack's singles, with the exception of "Bad Magick" and "Bring It On"; and a DVD of the band's acoustic performance in Las Vegas, Nevada at The House of Blues.

Goede tijden, slechte tijden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌ ɣudə ˈtɛidən ˌslɛxtə ˈtɛidən], English: Good times, bad times), also known as GTST, is the longest-running Dutch soap opera, which began on 1 October 1990 on RTL4. The programme was the first daily soap in the Netherlands. The soap is produced by Joop van den Ende and to date over 5,000 episodes have been broadcast. It was inspired by the Australian soap The Restless Years, although it started following its own course during the third season. GTST is broadcast Monday to Friday at 20:00. Around 1.5 million viewers watch each episode. It is the highest rated soap opera in the Netherlands.

The soap mainly revolves around the lives of the families Alberts, Sanders, De Jong, Van Houten and Bouwhuis. It all takes place in the fictional town of Meerdijk. Like any other soap, marriage, divorce, kidnapping and business are a few of the ingredients of GTST, although in recent years, GTST has become known for writing and producing more controversial storylines. GTST is also known for having a summer break each year, ending a season sometime in June with a cliffhanger, only to resume three months later in September. Although the early cliffhangers often revolved around family drama, later cliffhangers have often revolved around disasters and unexpected twists.

Justin Lee Collins

Justin Lee Collins (born 28 July 1974) is an English radio host, television presenter and actor.

Justin Lee Collins started out as a stand up comedian in his late teens, then moved on to be a presenter on a number of TV shows. From 2003 – 2005 he hosted his own radio show on XFM, and was one half of the famous duo presenting The Sunday Night Project (previously named The Friday Night Project) alongside Alan Carr for Channel 4. He also hosted numerous specials on Channel 4 entitled 'Bring Back...' reuniting the cast and crew from famous shows or films such as Dallas, Star Wars and Fame. He then took on challenges to become a Mexican Wrestler, a Surfer, a Ballroom Dancer, a Ten Pin Bowler, a High Diver and a West End Star. He later became a West End Star in Rock of Ages.

In 2012 he was convicted of harassing an ex-girlfriend. Since his conviction, Collins has sought professional help and now hosts a weekly radio show on Fubar Radio, the UK's only uncensored station.

Recently, Collins starred in comedy/horror feature film 'The Hatching' (2014) alongside Thomas Turgoose and Andrew Lee Potts and recently played a small role in time travel comedy 'Time Slips' (2015).

Leaving Wonderland... in a Fit of Rage

Originally slated to be the second solo album from Marcy Playground frontman John Wozniak, it was later decided that Leaving Wonderland...in a fit of rage would instead be the fourth LP from the band.

Good Times (Ella Eyre song)

"Good Times" is a song by English recording artist Ella Eyre. It was released as the fourth single from her debut album Feline, it has peaked at number 37 on the UK Singles Chart and number 14 on the Scottish Singles Chart. The song is also included on Sigma's album Life.

Background

"Good Times" was written by Ella Eyre, Sigma and Sigala, produced by Sigma and Sigala, vocal produced by Michael Angelo and performed by Eyre. In an interview with The Line of Best Fit, Eyre noted that if the song was a food it would be sushi, and said that she wrote it in 2015 and that it was about herself and her best friend Chlöe Howl, both of whose circumstances had disintegrated and whose company helped each other get through them. It was released as the fourth single from her debut album Feline, and was the fourth track on the album. It was released to iTunes on 14 August 2015 backed with "Fall Down" and was first performed during her set on Glastonbury on 27 June. It has also been featured on an advertisement for SNOG Pure Frozen Yogurt and Channel 5 (UK)'s 2016 trailer.
