Lim Guan Eng: Johor DAP firing its first salvo in Johor Jaya
Democratic Action Party (DAP) secretary general, Lim Guan Eng, who is also the chief minister of Penang, was in Taman Molek, here, recently, to attend the largest ever Johor DAP fund raising dinner. Some 3300 party supporters and well wishers attended the dinner function. Upon Lim's arrival, he was greeted with thunderous applause and was given a standing ovation by the crowd who have been waiting anxiously to hear him speak. He was escorted to the stage and waved to the applauding crowd and he started off by greeting the crowd in three languages much to the delight of crowd. Lim then smilingly said, this is his first experience to stand on a 360 degree stage to speak, and again the crowd reciprocated with loud applause and laughter. He told the crowd that, Johor DAP is firing its first salvo in Johor Jaya, by telling the BN government, specifically Malaysian Chinese Assocaition (MCA) chief, Chua Soi Lek, that the people in Johor is ready for change. Johor Jaya state seat is currently represented by the two term state assemblyperson, Tan Cher Puk, from MCA. Lim went on to highlight on the many successes of what the Penang government under the Pakatan rule have achieved over the last four years. Pakatan Rakyat (Pakatan) is a coalition between three main opposition parties namely, Peoples Justice Party (Keadilan), headed by de-facto leader , Anwar Ibrahim, Democratic Action Party (DAP) by Karpal Singh and the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) lead by Abdul Hadi Awang. Pro-UMNO MCA Is Anti Buddhist! 马华是反佛教! Dap vs Mca
Please go INTERNET to see:Pro-UMNO MCA Is Anti Buddhist! 马华是反佛教! (MCA Gombak, Yip Kum Fook menghina Sami-sami Buddha)HIDUP-HIDUP-HIDUP BUDDHA! HIDUP SAMI-SAMI BUDDHA!,,And we would like announce to everyone in Malaysia about YIP KUM FOOK. If money and women in his hand, it isn't run away and below of messages to send for EVERYONE TO KNOW, thank you very much. MCA MAN INSULTED BUDDHIST MONKS Dear Devotees into the Dhamma, I sincerely shall use the language to make publicly the bitter experience that actually has happened in the SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST ASSSOCIATION NO: 19-21 JALAN 38 TAMAN DESA JAYA KEPONG 52100 KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA. I am not satisfied with the Gombak MCA Division chairman (Yip Kum Fook) and the SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST ASSSOCIATION chairman (Yip Kum Fook) because he used vicious and arrogant means in bringing in a group of individuals from other places to provoke and trample the sacred ground and without any sound reason called in the police to forcefully detain the monk so as to humiliate worshippers of Buddhism. I strongly would like to ask here that what great sin and crimes had he committed to the extent of you Yip Kum Fook lawyer by means or by crooks called in the police to detain a monk like him? I came from Penang, I was a newcomer and I temporarily put up at the SAMNAK SAMBODHI BUDDHIST ASSSOCIATION to study and learn to practice Buddhism. While at the temple, I could not bear with the way Yip Kum Fook lawyer behaved, your uncourteous ...

Johor DAP Fund Raising Dinner
Johor DAP recorded an unprecedented show of support from the people in Johor Bahru during its fund raising dinner which was held here, recently. CJMY was made to understand that the huge turnout of some 3200 supporters and well wishers came not only for the dining but specifically to listen to DAP's state and national leaders who were scheduled to speak at the dinner that evening including Penang chief minister, Lim Guan Eng. DAP's state leaders who spoke on that evening include Tan Hong Pin, the state organizing secretary, followed by Andrew Chen, DAPSY committee member whereas the national leader speakers were Liew Chin Tong, member of parliament for Bukit Bendera, Dr. Hew Kuan Yau, the 'superman', Tony Pua, member of parliament for Petaling Jaya Utara and Penang chief minister, Lim Guan Eng. MP Liew Chin Tong told the crowd that Pakatan needs to win at least a third of the total parliamentary seats in the state of Johor, Sabah and Sarawak to see a change in the federal government. He urged Johoreans to catch up with the wind of change and to create history by voting at least a third of the Johor Pakatan candidates to parliament in the forthcoming 13GE. Dr. Hew Kuan Yau aka Superman had the crowd in stitches when he came up with his ever popular satirical speech in targeting his political opponents namely, BN national leaders, who have committed major political follies. MP Tony Pua was next to speak where he went on to elaborate on the issues that are related to the ...

Debate 2.0: DAP & MCA 2012 冠英細歷双王辩2.0 Full Version
Whose policies benefit the country more? The debate, known as 'Debate 2.0: DAP & MCA: Whose Polices Benefit the Country More?', will be at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The time allocated for the debate is two hours, that is from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The debate will be conducted in English. The topics that will be covered on are: • Education • Healthcare • Economic Prosperity • Community Service • National Unity • Public Welfare • Poverty Alleviation The rationale behind the choice of the topics is that as the election is just around the corner, the debaters will get to discuss their public policies and the public will get to see which party has better policies. The debate will continue the series of public policy discussions that ASLI had been promoting for a long time. Yeoh said that it is important because there a greater need to focus on public policy issues that are important to the country and to different communities. He thinks that for politics in Malaysia to develop to a greater level we need to be able to debate on issues and public policy matters rather than be emotional and criticize personalities. Half an hour will be given for a panel to post questions. ASLI will select a panel of three persons, who are academicians or newspaper editors. The panel will also be agreed upon by the debaters. AQ & A session will be opened to the public. According to Yeoh, the questions will have to be submitted earlier, and then representatives from both parties can ...

DAP victory celebration in Kuching
The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) erupts in jubilation when the candidates for Pending, Batu Lintang and Padungan were announced as victors. About 400 people, waving flags and mostly donning red, boisterously chant "Ubah" and "Vote DAP" while reaching over a metal barrier to 'high five' the three candidates. Fanning the euphoria is endless gusts of wind that lead many reporters to remark that the "winds of change" is blowing. After the DAP candidates and party leaders leave the venue the crowds disperse. Some regroup in front of the DAP headquarters nearby, where they are addressed by DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng. "This is a very, very historical day for Sarawak," he says Full Story: www.malaysiakini.com

Suee Lim: DAP leaders should accept state titles
INTERVIEW DAP leaders should accept state titles when offered, as this will counter the perception that DAP has adopted an anti-royalty stance, Sekinchan assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim says. There has been talk, Ng said, that DAP does not respect the Malay rulers and intends to depose them. As purported proof, its secretary-general Lim Guan Eng does have any title, even though he is the chief minister of Penang. Full Story: www.malaysiakini.com Camera/Editing: Tan Jiun Wuu
