2 aircraft VERTREP summer 2010. 1 SA-330J Puma and one MH-60S Knighthawk from the receiving ship. Worked out to be a good team that day. At first the 60S was unable to carry the heavier loads due to their installed internal aux tank being full. For being sort of an old aircraft the Puma can lift very well. The 60S was from an east coast HSC squadron.

Album: Between The Heart and The Synapse. www.myspace.com Triple Crown Records This song is the property of the respective authors, artists and labels; If you like the song, please buy the relative CD to support The Receiving End Of Sirens. Lyrics: I'll be the salt that resides from the water that drains from your eyes; The sting that burns your open wounds. I'll flood the ground. I swear on your grave, I'll bury this town, But not for me, no never for me. No not for me, no never. We have tested the buoyancy of loyalty. You left our lungs for canteens. You left our ankles for anchors. We thought your arms were tied behind your back, But elastic bands tied your hands. You swim with reckless abandon. Abandon ship! Mayday! Swim toward shore! Our captain is overboard! He punctured holes in the floorboards To flood the bow just in time to bow out. Abandon ship! Swim toward shore! (Swim toward shore.) He's over bored and overboard. But in the wake, we man our own driftwood orphanage, A second-hand sailor's fleet to flee. But in the wake, we man our own driftwood orphanage. Captain is over bored and overboard. Captain (captain) is calling. And there's nothing you can do when water ruins the maps we drew. Mayday! (Mayday!) Mayday!

Terrorism attack on the DPRK ship in waters off Somalia
Terrorism attack on the DPRK ship in waters off Somalia
DPRK's Consistent Principled Stand to Fight against All Forms of Terrorism Reiterated Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency released Thursday the following detailed report on the recent pirate attack on the DPRK-flagged trading ship "Taehongdan" in waters off Somalia: On Oct. 29, 2007 when it was anchored at roads ready for departure after discharging cargo at Mogadishu Port, Somalia the ship came under a surprise attack by seven armed pirates disguised as guards. All the crewmen were detained at a steering room and an engine room. The pirates demanded the crewmen pay a ransom of 15000 US dollars and navigate to the waters designated by them, opening fire to threaten them. The sailors, however, remained unperturbed under this dangerous situation created all of a sudden. They fought to beat back the pirates' attack. They switched on an automatic warning device and waged a fierce gunfight against the pirates after seizing weapons from two terrorists who were standing guard over the engine room. As the steering room was occupied by the pirates, they sailed towards the open sea by use of steering engine for emergency operation and life boat compass, while battling on to overpower the remaining pirates. In the meantime, upon receiving a SOS sent by the ship, an institution concerned in the DPRK officially informed the International Maritime Organization and the Piracy Reporting Centre of the IMB stationed in Malaysia of the incident and asked for help ...

Streetlight Manifesto - Receiving End of it All
Streetlight Manifesto - Receiving End of it All
Song from Streetlight Manifesto's "Somewhere in the Between". Lyrics: So Marigold, my love, you've had too much to drink And I need not remind you, our discount tickets for this sinking ship Take-backs and sweet regrets, that's all that we have left No one is looking out for anyone but number one One to one, two to dance, we all get our sweet romance Though sour grapes will turn to wine its all just vinegar with time And oh, I want to know, we all want to know How can anybody treat somebody so? She said it hurts too much I said it will never hurt enough No one will ever see these cuts No one will ever call this bluff But that's just the way that it goes And when he left us he said, "It's not so bad" That motherfucker he took everything we had And when I'm thinking back, I'm counting all the ways Nobody helped us so we dreamt of better days And we sang: "Yeah that's just the way that it goes" Yeah, we used to be in love (my love!), but now we're just in like And we broke all our promises and baby that ain't right Because you don't know what it's like to lose it all Take it back, take it back because you don't know what it's like to be on the receiving end of it all No! no! You were not on the receiving end of it all You beg and plead, but no one here can save you Why would they try when they can't quite save themselves? So Marigold, someday we'll have to write a script But I won't stop denying ashamed of all the selfish things we did Dropped out of every single friendship ...
