The Moth Presents Anthony Griffith: The Best of Times, The Worst of Times
A comic must earn his living as a clown while suffering the ultimate heartbreak. Anthony Griffith lives in the mountains of California at 5000 feet elevation in an animal protected community. It's much different from the inner city of Chicago where he used to live, but he still travels doing stand-up. He says that the overwhelming positive response of him telling his story at The Moth has prompted him to write my one man show and pen other short stories now in development.

SUSAN BOYLE ☆ I DREAMED A DREAM ☆ COMPLETE VERSION
*** FULL HIGH QUALITY VERSION*** Britains Got Talent 11/04/09 - SUSAN BOYLE sings "I DREAMED A DREAM" [ HQ ] The most stand out audition of the show was that of 47 year old Susan Boyle. Susan first appeared with Ant and Dec declaring that she is a single woman who lives with her cat. Not only has she never been married but she also admitted that she had never even been kissed. Susan looked like your typical batty old aunt, gold dress and all and when she walked on to stage you could just feel the scorn of the audience. Simon Cowell didnt look too hopeful when Susan said she wanted to be a professional singer like Elaine Paige and when she said she would be singing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables. But then Susan sang and the amazement of the crowd was clear. It was the type of audition that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck and the tears well in your eyes, it certainly had that effect on Amanda Holden. Piers Morgan called the performance stunning and Simon told Susan she was a little tiger. She seemed a bit baffled by the description. Britain's Got Talent 2009 kicked off on April 11 and there will be seven audition shows on consecutive Saturdays before a week of nightly shows so fans can pick two finalists who will battle it out on May 30 2009. ***UPDATE*** Saturday's show (8.20pm - 9.50pm GMT on May 23rd) is more auditions, plus the judges will pick the best 40 acts from all that got though in the auditions to perform in the live shows. Then there ...

NYC 1983 and 1986 original footage
In 1983 and 1986 I filmed some scenes on the touristic places like Broadway, Time Square, Staten Island Ferries and Central Park, not spectacular, but a good feeling for the 80s in NYC. In 1983 I came to NYC for first time and filmed with my Bolex spring mechanism motor camera, no scene able more than 22 seconds, at some Kodak and Fuji 30m rolls of 16mm films. In 1986 at my second visit I was using a big ARRIFLEX ST 16mm camera with better lenses and a integrated light meter. Both footage ist scanned in the year of origin smart analog to 2" Ampex tape, later in the 90s copied to BETA analog and later to BETA digital, at least to a mpeg file in my computer. The sound was recorded with a SONY WM-D6C in Dolby C. Thank you to Judy for telecine & color correction and Marion for the original sound recording. Two details: the countdown on the Fuji neon is for the Los Angeles Olympics and the movie recording on Broadway is for a commercial for the new Musical "Chorus Line". Some street scenes are mixed with radio edits from original 1986 New York radio station recordings. Dont miss my other NYC original footage in my channel, a view from the roof of the WTC in 1986, a look in the subway stations 42nd St and Time Square and a visit at the Chinese market in China Town NYC,

Dream Theater - The Best of Times (studio version)
The fifth track from the Dream Theater album "Black Clouds and Silver Linings". Lyrics by Mike Portnoy: Remember days of yesterday And how it flew so fast The two score and a year we had, I thought would always last The summer days and west coast dreams, I wished would never end A young boy and his father, Idol and best friend I'll always remember Those were the best of times A lifetime together I'll never forget The morning shows on the radio The case of the missing dog Lying on the pillows at the old 812 Watching Harold and Maude The record shops, the stick-ball fields My home away from home And when we weren't together The hours on the phone I'll always remember Those were the best of times I'll cherish them forever The best of times But then came the call Our lives changed forever more You can pray for a change But prepare for the end The fleeting winds of time Flying through each day All the things I should have done But time just slipped away Remember "seize the day" Life goes by in the blink of an eye There's so much left to see These were the best of times I'll miss these days Your spirit laid my life each day Thank you for the inspiration Thank you for the smiles All the unconditional love That carried me for miles It carried me for miles But most of all thank you for my life These were the best of times I'll miss these days Your spirit laid my life each day My heart is bleeding bad But I'll be okay Your spirit guides my life each day

Kate Prank Call Nurse 'Commits Suicide | Kate Middleton DISGRACE UK hospital divulges radio Hoax
Please SUBSCRIBE for the Best Music and Breaking NEWS !! Kate Prank Call Nurse 'Commits Suicide | Kate Middleton DISGRACE UK hospital divulges radio Hoax A nurse at the hospital caring for the Duchess of Cambridge, who took a hoax call from DJs, is found dead at a London address. A nurse working at the hospital treating the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, who was duped by a prank phone call, has died in a suspected suicide. Jacintha Saldanha, 46, who has worked at the hospital for four years, was found dead at an address near King Edward VII's hospital in London on Friday morning. The hospital confirmed she had been the victim of a hoax call in which two Australian DJs, pretending to be the Queen and Prince of Wales, phoned up about Kate. Ms Saldanha, a mother of two, received the call and put it through to the ward where another nurse updated the pair on the Duchess, who was being treated for severe morning sickness. Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt said the nurse was from Bristol and has a son and a daughter. "The hospital had not suspended Ms Saldanha, nor disciplined her," he added. Her family said in a statement: "We as a family are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Jacintha." The owners of the radio station say the two DJs behind the call are "deeply shocked" by the tragedy. They have been dropped from their show until further notice amid a major backlash.
