An oil depot (sometimes called a tank farm, installation or oil terminal) is an industrial facility for the storage of oil and/or petrochemical products and from which these products are usually transported to end users or further storage facilities. An oil depot typically has tankage, either above ground or underground, and gantries for the discharge of products into road tankers or other vehicles (such as barges) or pipelines.
Oil depots are usually situated close to oil refineries or in locations where marine tankers containing products can discharge their cargo. Some depots are attached to pipelines from which they draw their supplies and depots can also be fed by rail, by barge and by road tanker (sometimes known as "bridging").
Most oil depots have road tankers operating from their grounds and these vehicles transport products to petrol stations or other users.
An oil depot is a comparatively unsophisticated facility in that (in most cases) there is no processing or other transformation on site. The products which reach the depot (from a refinery) are in their final form suitable for delivery to customers. In some cases additives may be injected into products in tanks, but there is usually no manufacturing plant on site. Modern depots comprise the same types of tankage, pipelines and gantries as those in the past and although there is a greater degree of automation on site, there have been few significant changes in depot operational activities over time.

A member of a firefighting crew said on Thursday, Libya has made more progress in extinguishing a fire at oil storage tanks at the country's biggest oil port, Es Sider, that has been raging for one week. Es Sider and its adjacent Ras Lanuf terminal have been closed since a group allied to a rival government in Tripoli moved three weeks ago to try and take them, part of a struggle between former rebels who helped topple Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 but are now fighting for power and a share of oil reserves.

Fighters linked to al-Qaeda have reportedly seized a major airport and an oil terminal in southern Yemen.
It comes as the country slides deeper into chaos, with Shiite Houthi rebels locked in fighting with pro-government forces backed by Saudi air strikes.
The United Nations' special envoy to Yemen even stepped down on Thursday after he failed to broker an end to the conflict.
Now fighters linked to Al Qaeda are said to have seized Mukalla, the capital of Yemen's largest province Hadramawt, a…

Hi Everyone!
This is my first time making a YouTube, I got a bit nervous & emotional but my intent is to give others HOPE, so please overlook my mistakes & delivery.
My Story in brief: (Book to follow)
Monday 16th December 2013 I had been complaining of a small niggling pain on my left side around my ribs for a few days but nothing too bad. I’d had an hour massage on the previous Friday so I thought that I was just feeling the after effects of that. As the days went on when I took a big deep breath I did have slight pain on my left side. So I got it checked out.
On Thursday 19th December 2013 an ED Doctor found a mass on my left lung after a chest X-Ray this was quickly followed by CT with contrast.
The ED Doctor came out & motioned for us to come into her office & sit down not saying a word. She opened the conversation with I’m so very sorry…..what?? I’m so very sorry. There appears to be a sizable mass in your left lung – what? What is it? Have you ever smoked? What? No? Never! The look on the Doctors face said it all. There seemed to be silence, just her looking at me & time seemed to be slowed down somehow. She kept saying sorry, sorry to give you this news so close to Christmas. What? She said she has contacted a Respiratory Registrar to come down to see me to book in for a biopsy of the mass. My head was spinning! I recall saying a number of times, what? No? What? I don’t smoke, I never have, what? Well we can remove it right? What? It’s like I could hear myself saying the same thing over & over but I couldn’t stop. But I’m so healthy. What? No?
It really did feel like she was talking about someone else. It didn’t feel real. I was thinking to myself, it will be fine, Doctors will operate & take it out somehow, and it will be fine.
But it wasn’t fine. After several attempts to biopsy the tumour, finally on Monday 13th January 2014 the Doctors were able to get a sample via a CT guided chest/lung biopsy through my back. The X-Ray taken 4 hours after to check the lung, showed a minor haemorrhage around the left lung mass & as a bonus they managed to give me a pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung).
Wednesday 15th January we got the results, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (adenocarcinoma) & a PET SCAN was booked to see if it had spread. As I was a non-smoker the Doctors were convinced that the lung would not be my primary.
Friday 17th January 2014 – PET SCAN. The lung was the primary, 5cm mass, 2 lymph nodes in the chest & one in the base of the neck, fluid around my heart, and cancer in the pleura or lining of the lung. The Doctors told me as it had spread to the lining of my lung & lymph nodes they classified me as stage IV Terminal Lung Cancer with a prognosis of 6-9mth to live.
Thursday 30th January 2014 1st chemo (5hrs)
Thursday 6th February 2014 2nd Chemo (1hour)
Friday 14th February 2014 we found out that the biopsy taken was EGFR positive mutation, so no more chemo, yah!

Tuesday 25th February 2014 start juicing heaps of fresh cannabis leaves

Sunday 20th April 2014 my Husband cooked 2nd batch of cannabis oil
Tuesday 22nd April 2014 we received cannabis oil from an experienced Medical Cannabis activist that was prepared to help
Tuesday 20th May 2014 we started experimenting with suppositories & eventually by mixing .5ml of organic coconut oil with .5ml cannabis oil in a 1ml syringe just straight up & in we call it ‘the backdoor method’. I believe that this was our break through & also with this method I experienced no ‘high’ & was able to have the full 1ml of cannabis oil per day as what was recommended for an aggressive cancer.
Wednesday 3rd September 2014 PET scan Conclusion: complete metabolic response. Residual non-FDG avid scar tissue in the left upper lobe corresponding to the site of the previously intense FDG avid primary malignancy. NO CANCER!!!
Yes, there is a lot more detail that I could go into but this is just a quick look at my year so far. I hope it helps someone if so, please let me know.
My Husband & I would like to thank all the amazing people from around the world that helped us on a Facebook Group Site called ‘Cannabis Oil Success Stories’. These people taught us all we know & helped save my life.

The United Nations' special envoy to Yemen even stepped down on Thursday after he failed to broker an end to the conflict.
Now fighters linked to Al Qaeda are said to have seized Mukalla, the capital of Yemen's largest province Hadramawt, a…

Oil Apocalypse (Mega Disasters)
Peak oil, an event based on M. King Hubbert's theory, is the point in time when the maximum rate of extraction of petroleum is reached, after which the rate of production is expected to enter terminal decline. Peak oil theory is based on the observed rise, peak, (sometimes rapid) fall, and depletion of aggregate production rate in oil fields over time. Mostly due to the development of new production techniques and the exploitation of unconventional supplies, Hubbert's original predictions for world production proved premature. Peak oil is often confused with oil depletion; peak oil is the point of maximum production, while depletion refers to

Piper Alpha was a North Sea oil production platform operated by Occidental Petroleum (Caledonia) Ltd. The platform began production in 1976, first as an oil platform and then later converted to gas production. An explosion and the resulting oil and gas fires destroyed it on 6 July 1988, killing 167 men, with only 61 survivors. The death toll includes two crewmen of a rescue vessel. Total insured loss was about £1.7 billion (US$3.4 billion). At the time of the disaster, the platform accounted for approximately ten percent of North Sea oil and gas production, and was the worst offshore oil disaster in terms of lives lost and industry impact.

Crude: The Incredible Journey Of Oil
It has taken between 50-300 million years to form, and yet we have managed to burn roughly half of all global oil reserves in merely 125 years or so.
The world now consumes 85 million barrels of oil per day, or 40,000 gallons per second, and demand is growing exponentially.
Oil production in 33 out of 48 out countries has now peaked, including Kuwait, Russia and Mexico. Global oil production is now also approaching an all time peak and can potentially end our Industrial Civilization. The most distinguished and prominent geologists, oil industry experts, energy analysts and organizations all agree that big trouble is brewing.

Various analysis techniques and approaches are elaborated with a focus on practical application. A case study is also presented to demonstrate the use of tank terminal simulation models in solving real-life operational problems. The benefits and limitations of simulation modeling as an approach are also discussed.

Total insured loss was about £1.7 billion (US$3.4 billion). At the time of the disaster, the platform accounted for approximately ten percent of North Sea oil and gas production, and was the worst offshore oil disaster in terms of lives lost and industry impact.
A large fixed platform, Piper Alpha was situated on the Piper oilfield, approximately 120 miles (193 km) northeast of Aberdeen in 474 feet (144 m) of water, and comprised four modules separated by firewalls.[7] The platform was constructed by McDermott Engineering at Ardersier and UIE at Cherbourg, with the sections united at Ardersier before tow out during 1975, with production commencing in late 1976. For safety reasons the modules were organised so that the most dangerous operations were distant from the personnel areas. The conversion from oil to gas broke this safety concept, with the result that sensitive areas were brought together, for example, the gas compression next to the control room, which played a role in the accident. It produced crude oil and natural gas from 24 wells for delivery to the Flotta oil terminal on Orkney and to other installations by three separate pipelines. At the time of the disaster, Piper was one of the heaviest platforms (along with Magnus and Brae B) operating in the North Sea.
The world is not running out of oil itself, but rather its ability to produce high-quality cheap and economically extractable oil on demand. After more than fifty years of research and analysis on the subject by the most widely respected & rational scientists, it is now clear that the rate at which world oil producers can extract oil is reaching the maximum level possible. This is what is meant by Peak Oil. With great effort and expenditure, the current level of oil production can possibly be maintained for a few more years, but beyond that oil production must begin a permanent & irreversible decline. The Stone Age did not end because of the lack of stones, and the Oil Age won't end because of lack of oil. The issue is lack of further growth, followed by gradual, then steep decline. Dr King Hubbert correctly predicted peaking of USA oil production in the 1970's on this basis.
It is now widely acknowledged by the world's leading petroleum geologists that more than 95 percent of all recoverable oil has now been found. We therefore know, within a reasonable degree of certainty, the total amount of oil available to us. Any oil well has roughly the same life cycle where the production rate peaks before it goes into terminal decline. This happens when about half of the oil has been recovered from the well. We have consumed approximately half of the world’s total reserve of about 2.5 trillion barrels of conventional oil in the ground when we started drilling the first well at a current rate of over 30 billion a year, meaning the world is nearing its production plateau.
Worldwide discovery of oil peaked in 1964 and has followed a steady decline since. According to industry consultants IHS Energy, 90% of all known reserves are now in production, suggesting that few major discoveries remain to be made. There have been no significant discoveries of new oil since 2002. In 2001 there were 8 large scale discoveries, and in 2002 there were 3 such discoveries. In 2003 there were no large scale discoveries of oil. Given geologists' sophisticated understanding of the characteristics that would indicate a major oil find, is is highly unlikely that any area large enough to be significant has eluded attention and no amount or kind of technology will alter that. Since 1981 we have consumed oil faster than we have found it, and the gap continues to widen. Developing an area such as the Artic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska has a ten year lead time and would ultimately produce well under 1% of what the world currently consumes (IEA).

The Trans-Arabian Pipeline (Tapline), was an oil pipeline from Qaisumah in Saudi Arabia to Sidon in Lebanon. In its heyday, it was an important factor in the global trade of petroleum—helping with the economic development of Lebanon—as well as American and Middle Eastern political relations...
History
Construction of the Trans-Arabian Pipeline began in 1947 and was mainly managed by the American company Bechtel. Originally the Tapline was intended to terminate in Haifa which was then in the British Mandate of Palestine, but due to the establishment of the state of Israel, an alternative route through Syria (Golan Heights) and Lebanon was selected with an export terminal in Sidon. The Syrian government initially opposed the plan, but ratified Tapline construction in 1949 following the U.S.-backed military coup overthrowing democratic rule there. Oil transport through the pipeline started in 1950.
Since the 1967 Six-Day War, the section of the pipeline which runs through the Golan Heights came under Israeli occupation, though the Israelis permitted the pipeline's operation to continue. After years of constant bickering between Saudi Arabia and Syria and Lebanon over transit fees, the emergence of oil supertankers, and pipeline breakdowns, the section of the line beyond Jordan ceased operation in 1976. The remainder of the line between Saudi Arabia and Jordan continued to transport modest amounts of petroleum until 1990 when the Saudis cut off the pipeline in response to Jordan's support of Iraq during the first Gulf War. Today, the entire line is unfit for oil transport...
From "The Building of Tapline"
http://almashriq.hiof.no/lebanon/300/380/388/tapline/building-tapline/building-tapline.pdf
In 1950, the world's largest oil pipeline system was completed. Oil fields in Saudi Arabia were linked with the Mediterranean Sea at Sidon, Lebanon, over a thousand miles away. The pipeline greatly reduced the number of tankers required to transport oil around the Arabian Peninsula through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean, a 20-day, 7,000 mile trip. The building of the great pipeline is a story of accomplishment by Americans and Middle Easterners working together towards a common goal. It took the courage, perseverence and skills of 16,000 men, most of them nationals of the lands through which the line was passing, to overcome the heat, desert, sand storms, loneliness and other obstacles that beset the pipeliners during the construction period. At the Mediterranean, the oil is loaded on tankers and transported to the world markets.
Though the trans-Arabian pipeline is 1068 miles long, only the 753 mile section from the Sidon Terminal to the Qaisumah pump station is rightly called the TRANS-ARABIAN PIPELINE or TAPLINE. The remaining 315 miles is part of the Arabian American Oil Company's gathering system in eastern Saudi Arabia. This part of the line gathers the oil before its long journey to the coast of Lebanon.
In 1947, the trans-Arabian pipeline was started. Thousands of tons of steel plate were fabricated into 31 foot lengths of pipe at factories in the United States.
Half the pipe was made 30 inches in diameter and the other half 31 inches. This made it possible to save shipping space by "nesting" or slipping the smaller pipe inside the larger...
Huge 300 horsepower trucks, equipped with special, low pressure sand tires, hauled the pipe across desert and plain. More than 1500 vehicles made up the desert fleet of cars and trucks that were used on the job.
The pipe was strung out on the ground length after length along the surveyed route of the pipeline. Powerful tractors with side-booms unloaded the trucks and lined up the pipe sections readying them for the welders.
Machines like the GiantRipper with its great steel tooth, were used to rip a trench along the ground in which the pipe was to be buried.
Final welding of the sections fashioned the 93-foot lengths of pipe into one great tube. All told, over 180,000 welds were made on the great line...
The trans-Arabian pipeline system transports over 300,000 barrels of crude oil a day from eastern Saudi Arabia to the terminal near the biblical town of Sidon, Lebanon. That's enough oil to produce gasoline to operate almost 3 million automobiles for an average day's driving; or an amount of fuel oil sufficient to heat almost 260,000 homes.

In April 2013 this film set out to investigate the increasing number of claims that cannabis oil can treat cancer. This has been done through the lives of terminal cancer patients living in the UK.
It includes contributions from world leading research labs, the pharmaceutical industry and an illegal medical organisation that produces and provides cannabis oil to cancer patients.
This film is an objective investigation in to the potential role cannabis can play as part of an integrated and open minded approach to oncology.

Mostly due to the development of new production techniques and the exploitation of unconventional supplies, Hubbert's original predictions for world production proved premature.[2]Hubbert's original prediction that US Peak Oil would be in about 1970 was accurate, as US average annual production peaked in 1970 at 9.6 million barrels per day;[3] however, after a decade’s long decline, US production rebounded hitting 9.2 million barrels per day in early 2015.[4]
Peak oil is often confused with oil depletion; peak oil is the point of maximum production, while depletion refers to a period of falling reserves and supply.
Some observers, such as petroleum industry experts Kenneth S. Deffeyes and Matthew Simmons, predict negative global economy implications following a post-peak production decline and oil price increase because of the high dependence of most modern industrial transport, agricultural, and industrial systems on the low cost and high availability of oil. Predictions vary greatly as to what exactly these negative effects would be.
Optimistic[2] estimations of peak production forecast the global decline will begin after 2020, and assume major investments in alternatives will occur before a crisis, without requiring major changes in the lifestyle of heavily oil-consuming nations. These models show the price of oil at first escalating and then retreating as other types of fuel and energy sources are used. Pessimistic predictions of future oil production made after 2007 stated either that the peak had already occurred, that oil production was on the cusp of the peak, or that it would occur shortly.
The wide use of fossil fuels has been one of the most important stimuli of economic growth and prosperity since the industrial revolution, allowing humans to participate in takedown, or the consumption of energy at a greater rate than it is being replaced. Some believe that when oil production decreases, human culture, and modern technological society will be forced to change drastically. The impact of peak oil will depend heavily on the rate of decline and the development and adoption of effective alternatives. If alternatives are not forthcoming, the products produced with oil (including fertilizers, detergents, solvents, adhesives, and most plastics) would become scarce and expensive.
In 2005, the United States Department of Energy published a report titled Peaking of World Oil Production: Impacts, Mitigation, & Risk Management.[132] Known as the Hirsch report, it stated, "The peaking of world oil production presents the U.S. and the world with an unprecedented risk management problem. As peaking is approached, liquid fuel prices and price volatility will increase dramatically, and, without timely mitigation, the economic, social, and political costs will be unprecedented. Viable mitigation options exist on both the supply and demand sides, but to have substantial impact, they must be initiated more than a decade in advance of peaking." Some of the information was updated in 2007.

Iraq plans to start the actual loading of crude in a week to 10 days, initially boosting oil exports through the country's south - which currently stand at about 1.7 (m) million barrels a day - by 200-thousand to 300-thousand barrels per day, according to officials.
The terminal's full capacity will be 900-thousand barrels a day.
The new Single Point Mooring (SPM) is the first of five export facilities that would eventually handle about 5 (m) million barrels a day.
The project is part of a 1.3 (b) billion US dollars plan to expand export facilities in the south.
"With this project we will have no problems for the coming ten years regarding our oil export capacity," said Falah al-Amiri, chief of Iraq's State Oil Marketing Organisation.
Iraq currently produces 2.9 (m) million barrels a day and its total daily oil exports averaged 2.145 (m) million barrels in December.
It plans to pump 3.4 (m) million barrels this year and to increase exports to 2.6 (m) million barrels a day.
The government relies on oil exports for 95 percent of its revenue.

This supertanker is awaiting the resumption of oil production from Iraq's Rumeila field.
00 08
Crude oil hasn't been pumped from southern Iraq since the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime earlier in the year.
00 15
Pumping ceased from the Rumeila oil fields during the US-led invasion.
00 21
Oil installations in the area also suffered widespread damage from looting and vandalism.
00 26
Although a lot has been repaired there is still much work to be done.
00 31
In the past week, Iraq's oil infrastructure has been damaged by a spate of attacks on pipelines around the country.

STORYLINE:
Three boats exploded near an Iraqi oil platform and two oil tankers off the coast of Iraq on Saturday evening, according to a British military spokesman, in what appeared to be coordinated suicide attacks.
Captain Hisham H. Halawi said there was no immediate word on casualties or damage from the blasts.
It was the first known maritime attack on Iraqi oil facilities since the March 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.
Anti-coalition militia have been attacking pipelines in the north and south of Iraq, at times disrupting the vital export of oil.
The first blast came when a coalition warship patrolling the Gulf sighted a small boat near an oil platform, according to Halawi.
He said the warship sent a team to the boat, but when they boarded it, the boat exploded.
Halawi said he did not know if there were coalition casualties.
The other boats exploded alongside two oil tankers near the Abbott oil facility south of Iraq's main port, Umm Qasr, he said.
The attack appeared to resemble an October 12, 2000 attack on USS Cole off Yemen, in which an explosives-laden boat ram the destroyer, killing 17 American sailors.
On October 6, 2002, a boat rammed a French oil tanker off the coast of Yemen and exploded, killing one crewman.
Both those attacks were blamed on Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terror network group.
The oil attacks came three days after near simultaneous suicide car bombings in the southern Iraqi city of Basra - 50 kilometres (30 miles), from Umm Qasr - that killed 74 people.

STORYLINE:
Energy officials from the US, Russia, Kazakstan and Oman joined international oil executives for the official opening of the pipeline connecting Kazakstan's Tengiz oil field with an export terminal in the southern Russian port of Anapa.
Tuesday's ceremony to inaugurate the two point 65 (B) billion US dollars pipeline, the largest foreign investment in Russia to date, came amid a slump in world oil prices and demands by the OPEC that producers cut back.
US companies have invested more than one (B) billion dollars in the consortium, which is running a one thousand and 580-kilometre (987 miles) pipeline from Tengiz Anapa, some 800 kilometres (500 miles) south of Moscow.
The consortium includes the Russian, Kazak and Oman governments, Chevron, Arco, Shell, Mobil and Agip, as well as smaller firms.
The Tengiz field is believed to be the world's sixth-largest oil field.
The pipeline has an initial capacity of 28 (M) million tons per year (600-thousand barrels a day) and, if upgraded, it will ultimately have an annual capacity of 67 (M) million tons (one and a half (M) million barrels a day).
This according to ChevronTexaco, which funded 30 percent of the project and which will be the biggest customer for the pipeline.
Oil from other Kazak and Russian fields is also expected to be shipped through the Caspian pipeline.
Russia's first deputy energy minister, Ivan Matlashov, said that one-third of Russian oil exports would come through the terminal.
The pipeline was originally scheduled to begin full operations in August, but the opening was postponed over customs and oil quality disputes.
It started working in October and 300-thousand metric tons (two point two (M) million barrels) have already been loaded onto tankers.
A tanker was moored off Anapa during Tuesday's ceremony, but it could not approach the port for loading because of windy weather whipping up high waves that crashed against the shore.
US Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham had to cancel his participation in the ceremony because the pilots of his US Air Force plane decided "the weather was not quite appropriate".
Russia expects to collect more than 20 (B) billion dollars in taxes over the next four decades from the pipeline.
The pipeline is also expected to give Moscow political clout in the strategic and mineral-rich Caspian region.

STORYLINE:
The first commercial oil tanker to receive Iraqi oil for export, outside of the United Nations Oil-For-Food programme since 1991, docked at the Mina Al Bakr offshore oil terminal Tuesday.
Shipping to and from the terminal is now under the protection of a maritime security operation led by US and coalition naval vessels.
The terminal is located in the North Arabian Gulf, outside the Khor Abd Allah waterway.
The supertanker Abqaiq docked at the offshore terminal to load an estimated two (m) million barrels of crude oil from a platform that is connected to Iraq via an underwater piping system.
The USS Chosin and an Aegis guided-missile cruiser are leading the security operations to escort tankers to and from the terminal.
A so-called Multi-national Interception Force (MIF) is also taking part to secure the perimeter of the Mina Al Bakr Oil Terminal (MABOT).
The MIF, which consists of US Navy and Coast Guard forces and naval forces from Australia and Poland, will remain in the North Arabian Gulf until an Iraqi coast guard can be established.
Under the UN Security Council Resolution 1483, and in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the MIF is also instructed to pre-empt any illegal trade in and out of Iraq.

Over the last three months we have taken this area from a state of probably something best described as near anarchy to today where we are finally loading oil at the offshore oil terminal for the first time in five months and that oil is destined to provide income for Iraq."

STORYLINE:
About 150 militants armed with rockets and automatic weapons attacked a transport terminal in northwestern Pakistan on Sunday wounding three guards and torching eight cement trucks police said.
The transport terminal lies along a key supply route used by US and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) troops.
The attack started around 2am on Sunday (2200 GMT on Saturday) on the outskirts of the main northwestern city of Peshawar, local police
said.
According to Ali Akbar Khan, a security guard at the terminal, the attack lasted for around 3 hours.
He said the perpetrators were "Taliban" militants.
Police did not arrive until after the militants had gone, Ali Akbar Khan said.
Police said the militants fired rockets and automatic weapons.
A gunbattle at the scene wounded three guards, one of whom was in critical condition, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Tariq Sohail Marwat said the militants had accessed the terminal from the rear of the building and had departed the same way.
Militants in Pakistan frequently attack cargo terminals and other stops used by vehicles taking supplies to western troops in Afghanistan through the legendary Khyber Pass.
Scores of trucks have been damaged and several people have died, adding urgency to US efforts to find safer supply routes.

Iran launched world's most advanced offshore oil terminal
Before Khalij-e-Fars became operational the Surena FSU served as Iran's biggest offshore oil terminal. The new vessel further opens Iran's hands in reaching its international oil clients at sea. Iran’s total in-place oil reserves have been estimated at more than 560 billion barrels.
According to experts the vessel is capable of carrying more than 2.2 million barrels of crude oil with an output capacity of more than 31 thousand barrels per hour or one million barrels per day.

Libya Sees More Progress in Extinguishing Fire at Eastern Oil Terminal
A member of a firefighting crew said on Thursday, Libya has made more progress in extinguishing a fire at oil storage tanks at the country's biggest oil port, Es Sider, that has been raging for one week. Es Sider and its adjacent Ras Lanuf terminal have been closed since a group allied to a rival government in Tripoli moved three weeks ago to try and take them, part of a struggle between former rebels who helped topple Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 but are now fighting for power and a share of oil reserves.

Cannabis Killed My Terminal Stage IV Lung Cancer
Cannabis Killed My Terminal Stage IV Lung Cancer
Thursday 20th February 2014 start TARCEVA 150mg tablets (Erlotinib)
Tuesday 25th February 2014 start juicing heaps of fresh cannabis leaves
Wednesday 26th February 2014 my Husband cooked 1st batch of cannabis oil

Stream Systems Ltd.: Implementation of Complex High-Fidelity Terminal Simulation Models (Oil & Gas)
Allan Chegus, President, Stream Systems Ltd.
Dumitru Cernelev, CEO, Stream Systems Ltd.
The design and development of a new tank terminal, an extension to an existing tank terminal, or the optimization of a current facility is a large undertaking. The typical project has to deal with numerous design challenges and design trade-offs. Simulation is the only effective way to understand how the various terminal components (tanks, manifolds, transfer lines, pipelines etc.) interact and how they are affected by controllable and non-controllable events.
This paper describes typical terminal modeling challenges in the design phase and demonstrates how simulation models can be used to increase throughput, improve operating efficiency, and reduce cost by avoiding unnecessary capital expenditures.
Various analysis techniques and approaches are elaborated with a focus on practical application. A case study is also presented to demonstrate the use of tank terminal simulation models in solving real-life operational problems. The benefits and limitations of simulation modeling as an approach are also discussed.

Oil Apocalypse (Mega Disasters)
Oil Apocalypse (Mega Disasters)
Peak oil, an event based on M. King Hubbert's theory, is the point in time when the maximum rate of extraction of petroleum is reached, after which the rate of production is expected to enter terminal decline. Peak oil theory is based on the observed rise, peak, (sometimes rapid) fall, and depletion of aggregate production rate in oil fields over time. Mostly due to the development of new production techniques and the exploitation of unconventional supplies, Hubbert's original predictions for world production proved premature. Peak oil is often confused with oil depletion; peak oil is the point of maximum production, while depletion refers to a period of falling reserves and supply.

Explosion in the North Sea (Piper Alpha Disaster)
Explosion in the North Sea (Piper Alpha Disaster)

Crude: The Incredible Journey Of Oil

4:3 Iraq opens new oil export terminal in Persian Gulf, al-Maliki attends ceremony
Iraq inaugurated a new offshore oil export terminal in the Persian Gulf on Sunday in a vital step to ease infrastructure constraints and to bring in sorely needed cash for reconstruction after decades of war and international sanctions.
During a ceremony in the oil-rich province of Basra, Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki cut the ribbon on a project to start experimental pumping for the floating terminal located about 35 miles (60 kilometres) off Iraq's coast.

Polish LNG terminal animation
Polish LNG terminal at Swinoujscie is expected to start up in the second quarter of 2016. Animation by Polskie LNG, established in 2007 by Polish Gas and Oil Company PGNiG (PGNiG SA). GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. supervises the construction of the LNG terminal, whereas the Polish Oil and Gas Company PGNiG is responsible for the supply and transport of the liquefied natural gas to the terminal in Świnoujście.
Thanks to the LNG terminal, it will be possible to diversify the directions of natural gas supply which for Poland shall mean an improvement of the country’s energy security. The potential directions of supply of LNG are countries from North Africa and the Scandinavian Peninsula.
On 19 August 2008, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution in which the construction of the LNG terminal was acknowledged as a strategic investment for the interests of Poland, compliant with the plans for diversification of sources and roads of supply of natural gas and guaranteeing the energy security of the country.

SYND 24 11 78 NEW OIL TERMINAL IN THE SHETLAND ISLANDS OFF SCOTLAND
Around Midnight (Friday / Saturday), the first oil from a major chain of oil fields east of the Shetlands will complete its journey along an undersea pipeline to Sullom Voe, a huge new oil terminal costing a thousand million pounds which, by late the 1980s, will be handling two thirds of Britain's entire oil supply.
