Fertile Crescent
Sixth Grade students from Roosevelt Middle School update how to learn about Mesopotamia and the Fertile Crescent. Students from Todd LaVogue's Social Studies class worked 10 weeks with Jennifer O'Brien, a visual teaching artist, and Resource Depot, a nonprofit organization that collects reusable materials and uses them for art, to compare and contrast ancient methods to modern day. This project, Building Learning Communities through Arts and Culture, is funded by the Palm Beach County Cultural Council.

Mesopotamia: Destruction in Fertile Crescent part 1
Finally after constant delays, here it is Mesopotamia: Destruction in the Fertile Crescent. Its a brand new mini-documentary Iraq, its history, colonialism, US Foreign Policy, stereotypes and racism towards not only Middle East but Arab Americans as well and consequences of the War on Terrorism in Middle East and West. Renowned Indian novelist & activist Arundhati Roy and British Middle East Correspondent Robert Fisk takes the viewer on a collage of unforgiving war crimes, violence and terror against children, women and men across Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan. It also reveals the level of racism towards Middle East and Islam in general embedded deep into US society. This is a follow up to Palestine 58 years later. Created by me, Aan. Part 1 of 3.
