Billy Bragg - Ideology
When one voice rules the nation Just because they're top of the pile Doesn't mean their vision is the clearest The voices of the people Are falling on deaf ears Our politicians all become careerists They must declare their interests But not their company cars Is there more to a seat in parliament Than sitting on your arse And the best of all this bad bunch Is shouting to be heard Above the sound of ideologies clashing Outside the patient millions Who put them into power Expect a little more back for their taxes Like school books, beds in hospitals And peace in our bloody time All they get is old men grinding axes Who've built their private fortunes On the things they can rely The courts, the secret handshake The Stock Exchange and the old school tie For God and Queen and Country All things they justify Above the sound of ideologies clashing God bless the civil service The nations saving grace While we expect democracy They're laughing in our face And although our cries get louder The laughter gets louder still Above the sound of ideologies clashing Above the sound of ideologies, Above the sound of ideologies, Above the sound of ideologies clashing

Borderland
Dick is right. "Every American should see this." It is real and it is striking. In some places it stands 18 feet tall and looks like the gates of Mordor. In other places, it is barely 10 feet tall and looks like it was put together with a stapler. It runs from the Colorado River directly into the Pacific. It is big, intense and intimidating. And it is unfinished. Gaping holes are everywhere. Physically it’s confusing. Politically it’s puzzling. Ideologically it’s complicated. But for Dick and Ron, who both live within a few miles of the border, defending it is simply a matter of protecting themselves and preserving their own beliefs. Drug smugglers don't come to the United States to make an honest living. As the recent killing of Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas shows, the border is more than a moral line in the sand. The fence is real. We recommend a visit.

Playing For Change | "War/No More Trouble" - Song Around The World
playingforchange.com - As we made our way around the world we encountered love, hate, rich and poor, black and white, and many different religious groups and ideologies. It became very clear that as a human race we need to transcend from the darkness to the light and music is our weapon of the future. This song around the world features musicians who have seen and overcome conflict and hatred with love and perseverance. We dont need more trouble, what we need is love. The spirit of Bob Marley always lives on.
This is the fourth Song Around The World video released from the CD/DVD Playing For Change: Songs Around The World and the follow up to the classics "Stand By Me," "One Love" and "Don't Worry." This unforgetable track was performed by musicians around the world adding their part to the song as it traveled the globe.

Adam Promo
Notion Ink is a firm dedicated to pushing computing devices towards singularity; Adam is just the beginning of that dream set in motion. We're out to challenge the norm, question existing ideologies of function and form, to change the curve of our conversation with technology, be it by redefining the species or creating a new breed of intelligent, intuitive devices to reckon with.
Notion Ink is young at heart, and proud to wear it on its sleeve. Youth gives us that extra edge in bringing a whole new realm of concepts to reality. It shows in the sustained, creative energy of our team, in our belief systems, in our day-to-day operations and in all our interactions. Combined with precision and confidence, Notion Ink is not afraid to think big, execute our vision and change perception.
Notion Ink is all about realising dreams.

I'm not the greatest scener, and I probably don't have a great eye for where everything should go, but I'm happy that at least I was able to make something that was better than any scenery I had done before. Any feedback is appreciated, a lot of work went into this.

Culture & Ideology Are Not Your Friends (Terence McKenna) [FULL]
alchemicalarchives.blogspot.com Terence McKenna: Culture & Ideology Are Not Your Friends Presented at the Whole Life Expo, Denver, April 1999 To a large degree I think the sixties were probably misplayed. But on the other hand it seems to be the last decade when anything happened. The lid has been utterly on ever since. It's an illusion all this change. There is no change. We're living in some sort of weird eschatological hiatus while the people who rig the game try to send out for new batteries or something. I don't know what's going on. There's energy for change building. I think that when it ultimately comes it will be fairly spectacular. It's astonishing actually the way in which change has been halted. Everyone is running around saying "change change change" but on the other hand there is a curious sense in which things have become eerily dreamlike and still, while we just teeter on the edge of the end of history; and the same personalities, the same design elements, everything has looked the same in the galleries for twenty years. There is an eerie suspension. Podcast available for free download at: www.matrixmasters.net Art: Todd Schorr - Five O' Clock Shadows In Dali-Disney Land
