Zboy365 from MaddenMoments.com here with a defensive tip on really halting the option attack from Oregon's Playbook. In this tip we will go over NCAA 14 defensive tip on Stopping Read Options, Speed Options and Shovel Options!
Please take note, if you want to practice this you must do it in an exhibition game because there are features the game won't allow us in practice mode to shut down the options runs from Oregon's Playbook.
THINGS YOU NEED:
Press L1 (LB on failbox) to access your adjustments menu at the playcall screen. Go down to OPTION DEFENSE and set the menu to AGGRESSIVE. This will tell your defensive ends to stop when the option happens and defend the QB. This will either force your opponent to hand it off to the RB or face a loss of yards for trying to keep it.
STOPPING THE READ AND TRIPLE OPTIONS:
Sting Pinch Zone - 34 Over
Setups -
1. Base Align
2. Show Blitz
3. OPTIONAL (Bring the high safety down to the left side and place him out wide. This is only if you do not know which direction the option is going...I will explain.)
This is basically a play with 2 setups to stop all read options. What we are doing is setting up a lockdown run defense and forcing the QB to hand it off. This way if they keep it (if you setup up the defensive adjustment like I told you) the QB runs right into our D End. When he hands it off, the RB will simply run into a wall of defenders. The Blitzing MLB will shoot the A Gap and grab the RB.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
The only issue with this is the left side of the D is weak. So if they run the option against that side you will need to bring that safety I mentioned in the optional step down to help the LB. This causes more clogging to happen. Ideally you will want to flip this play to the side where the option occurs to prevent this last setup.
STOPPING THE SPEED OPTION
Play:
Cat Blitz 34 Over
Setups:
1. Make sure to call the CB blitz to the side the speed option is going. The game always has speed options ran to the side the RB is stationed on.
This play is excellent for stopping all speed options. You can use it for Read Options too but it is less likely to stop the handoff. When the QB goes out he will be forced to pitch it or be hit by the D End. When he pitches it..the blitzing CB is waiting to hit the RB!
STOPPING THE SHOVEL OPTION:
Sting pinch will be all you need here. It is the same idea as the read option. The QB will be confronted by the D End, the D End will not allow space for the QB to run or the pitch man to get free. They will be forced to shovel pass it into a wall of defenders!
PRO TIPS:
You want to leave your slider on D to balanced at the start. Find out if they are running the option at all first. If they only run it once or twice a game you don't need to worry about it too much. You want to run this when there is no more answers for the option! Try conservative if you dont like the QB handing off the ball...

Although football evolves and changes each and every year, sometimes teams reinvent a classic. Oklahoma State seemingly did that on Saturday, running the 2013 version of veer option football. The result? Three runs, 60 yards and a QB that didn't get touched once.
In going old school with a new school spin, the Cowboys turned the game completely around. From that point on, the Cowboys dominated on the ground, and, in so doing, took over the game.

Option offense
The option offense is a generic term that is used to describe a wide variety of offensive systems in American football. Option offenses are characterized as such because of the predominance of option running plays employed in them. Option offenses have traditionally relied heavily upon running plays, though modern option offenses now incorporate a large number of passing plays. Because they are run-based, option offenses are very effective in managing the game clock, giving the opposing team less time to score and keeping the option team's defense from tiring. However, this also means that when the option team is losing near the end of the game, and needs to score quickly, it is at a disadvantage. These schemes rely on timing, deception, and split-second decision-making under pressure, which, in turn, require flawless execution and discipline.

Madden NFL 16
Madden NFL 16 is an American football sports video game based on the National Football League and published by EA Sports for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Madden 16 introduced the new game mode "Draft Champions" to Madden. The game was released on August 25, 2015 and is the final game with the St. Louis Rams before their relocation to Los Angeles.
Development
The game was announced in late July 2015 on the EA Sports website. On May 13, 2015, EA announced that, like Madden NFL 15, Madden Ultimate Team fans will be able to purchase the Madden NFL 16 Deluxe Edition, which will include the game along with $50 worth of Ultimate Team packs, for an extra $40. It was announced that EA will be working extensively on aesthetics, with new player spotlights, dynamic goals and achievements, and innovative on-the-field and off field cameras.
Cover athlete
EA decided not to have players vote for the cover athlete through a traditional bracket, but rather through collectible cards in Madden NFL Mobile, or through Ultimate Team on the console devices. On May 4, 2015, the four finalists were announced for the 2016 game cover: New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. The two finalists were announced on May 12 as Gronkowski and Beckham Jr. On May 13, Beckham Jr. beat Gronkowski for the cover of Madden 16. Notably, Beckham Jr. is also the cover athlete for Madden NFL Mobile, as of 18 January 2016.

Madden NFL
Madden NFL (known as John Madden Football before 1993) is an American football video game series developed by Electronic Arts Tiburon for EA Sports. It is named after Pro Football Hall of Famer John Madden, a well-known former Super Bowl–winning coach of the Oakland Raiders and color commentator. The series has sold more than 100 million copies, and influenced many players and coaches of the physical sport. Among the game's realistic features are sophisticated playbooks and player statistics, and voice commentary that allows players to hear the game as if it were a real TV broadcast.
Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins conceived the series and approached Madden in 1984 for his endorsement and expertise. Because of Madden's insistence that the game be as realistic as possible, the first version of John Madden Football did not appear until 1988. EA has released annual versions since 1990, and the series' name changed to Madden NFL in 1993 after EA acquired the rights to use NFL teams and players. Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. At the trailhead, the option of running the infamous Carnage Canyon BV trail was also given to those willing to risk substantial damage to their rigs and, of the 22 JK’s we had, 4 would choose to join EVO 1 in taking on the carnage including, Project-JK’s, Moby Dick! Episode 2 highlights our run up this short, “nasty ass” trail as Mel liked to call it, and then follows us as we made a mad dash east with the hopes of being able to climb to the top of Pikes Peak before they closed. For one week during the month of September, 22 Jeep JK Wranglers from around the country and from as far as Canada, gathered in the state of Colorado to traverse almost 1,000 miles though the breathtaking Rocky's, explore famous historic mining towns and, take on some of the most challenging off-road trails that can be found anywhere. This is the Off Road Evolution JK Experience Rocky Mountain Run, presented by Falken Tire, and this is the story of the Jeepers who came looking for an adventure and found what it means to "KEEP IT TIGHT".

Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. Press L1 (LB on failbox) to access your adjustments menu at the playcall screen. Go down to OPTION DEFENSE and set the menu to AGGRESSIVE. This will tell your defensive ends to stop when the option happens and defend the QB. This will either force your opponent to hand it off to the RB or face a loss of yards for trying to keep it.
STOPPING THE READ AND TRIPLE OPTIONS:
Sting Pinch Zone - 34 Over
Setups -
1. Base Align
2. Show Blitz
3. OPTIONAL (Bring the high safety down to the left side and place him out wide. This is only if you do not know which direction the option is going...I will explain.)
This is basically a play with 2 setups to stop all read options. What we are doing is setting up a lockdown run defense and forcing the QB to hand it off. This way if they keep it (if you setup up the defensive adjustment like I told you) the QB runs right into our D End. When he hands it off, the RB will simply run into a wall of defenders. The Blitzing MLB will shoot the A Gap and grab the RB.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
The only issue with this is the left side of the D is weak. So if they run the option against that side you will need to bring that safety I mentioned in the optional step down to help the LB. This causes more clogging to happen. Ideally you will want to flip this play to the side where the option occurs to prevent this last setup.
STOPPING THE SPEED OPTION
Play:
Cat Blitz 34 Over
Setups:
1. Make sure to call the CB blitz to the side the speed option is going. The game always has speed options ran to the side the RB is stationed on.
This play is excellent for stopping all speed options. You can use it for Read Options too but it is less likely to stop the handoff. When the QB goes out he will be forced to pitch it or be hit by the D End. When he pitches it..the blitzing CB is waiting to hit the RB!
STOPPING THE SHOVEL OPTION:
Sting pinch will be all you need here. It is the same idea as the read option. The QB will be confronted by the D End, the D End will not allow space for the QB to run or the pitch man to get free. They will be forced to shovel pass it into a wall of defenders!
PRO TIPS:
You want to leave your slider on D to balanced at the start. Find out if they are running the option at all first. If they only run it once or twice a game you don't need to worry about it too much. You want to run this when there is no more answers for the option! Try conservative if you dont like the QB handing off the ball...

Although football evolves and changes each and every year, sometimes teams reinvent a classic. Oklahoma State seemingly did that on Saturday, running the 2013 version of veer option football. The result? Three runs, 60 yards and a QB that didn't get touched once.
In going old school with a new school spin, the Cowboys turned the game completely around. From that point on, the Cowboys dominated on the ground, and, in so doing, took over the game.
Let's take a look at the three-play series that resulted in a 7-3 lead for Oklahoma State prior to halftime, a lead that the Cowboys wouldn't relinquish.

Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. At the trailhead, the option of running the infamous Carnage Canyon BV trail was also given to those willing to risk substantial damage to their rigs and, of the 22 JK’s we had, 4 would choose to join EVO 1 in taking on the carnage including, Project-JK’s, Moby Dick! Episode 2 highlights our run up this short, “nasty ass” trail as Mel liked to call it, and then follows us as we made a mad dash east with the hopes of being able to climb to the top of Pikes Peak before they closed.
For one week during the month of September, 22 Jeep JK Wranglers from around the country and from as far as Canada, gathered in the state of Colorado to traverse almost 1,000 miles though the breathtaking Rocky's, explore famous historic mining towns and, take on some of the most challenging off-road trails that can be found anywhere. Mac 'n' Cheese is an animated short directed and created by four students at the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands. This roughly two minute animation took about five months to make, and about a bajillion peanut butter sandwiches.
Synopsis: When you find yourself running scared and running out of energy, there's only a few options left to outrun your opponent through the southern desert. Stopping at nothing, watch these two guys wear each other out and rip through boundaries hitherto unbroken. Enjoy the ride!

My second jump from Gavea. First jump was very nice with pulling over the beach. On this jump I lost a booty on exit, came out very low and pulled to low with an of heading. Also it took me way to long to open the armwings and when I was all set for landing I already run out of good options :-)

Zboy365 from MaddenMoments.com here with a defensive tip on really halting the option attack from Oregon's Playbook. In this tip we will go over NCAA 14 defensive tip on Stopping Read Options, Speed Options and Shovel Options!
Please take note, if you want to practice this you must do it in an exhibition game because there are features the game won't allow us in practice mode to shut down the options runs from Oregon's Playbook.
THINGS YOU NEED:
Press L1 (LB on failbox) to access your adjustments menu at the playcall screen. Go down to OPTION DEFENSE and set the menu to AGGRESSIVE. This will tell your defensive ends to stop when the option happens and defend the QB. This will either force your opponent to hand it off to the RB or face a loss of yards for trying to keep it.
STOPPING THE READ AND TRIPLE OPTIONS:
Sting Pinch Zone - 34 Over
Setups -
1. Base Align
2. Show Blitz
3. OPTIONAL (Bring the high safety down to the left side and place him out wide. This is only if you do not know which direction the option is going...I will explain.)
This is basically a play with 2 setups to stop all read options. What we are doing is setting up a lockdown run defense and forcing the QB to hand it off. This way if they keep it (if you setup up the defensive adjustment like I told you) the QB runs right into our D End. When he hands it off, the RB will simply run into a wall of defenders. The Blitzing MLB will shoot the A Gap and grab the RB.
TROUBLE SHOOTING:
The only issue with this is the left side of the D is weak. So if they run the option against that side you will need to bring that safety I mentioned in the optional step down to help the LB. This causes more clogging to happen. Ideally you will want to flip this play to the side where the option occurs to prevent this last setup.
STOPPING THE SPEED OPTION
Play:
Cat Blitz 34 Over
Setups:
1. Make sure to call the CB blitz to the side the speed option is going. The game always has speed options ran to the side the RB is stationed on.
This play is excellent for stopping all speed options. You can use it for Read Options too but it is less likely to stop the handoff. When the QB goes out he will be forced to pitch it or be hit by the D End. When he pitches it..the blitzing CB is waiting to hit the RB!
STOPPING THE SHOVEL OPTION:
Sting pinch will be all you need here. It is the same idea as the read option. The QB will be confronted by the D End, the D End will not allow space for the QB to run or the pitch man to get free. They will be forced to shovel pass it into a wall of defenders!
PRO TIPS:
You want to leave your slider on D to balanced at the start. Find out if they are running the option at all first. If they only run it once or twice a game you don't need to worry about it too much. You want to run this when there is no more answers for the option! Try conservative if you dont like the QB handing off the ball...

Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. At the trailhead, the option of running the infamous Carnage Canyon BV trail was also given to those willing to risk substantial damage to their rigs and, of the 22 JK’s we had, 4 would choose to join EVO 1 in taking on the carnage including, Project-JK’s, Moby Dick! Episode 2 highlights our run up this short, “nasty ass” trail as Mel liked to call it, and then follows us as we made a mad dash east with the hopes of being able to climb to the top of Pikes Peak before they closed.
For one week during the month of September, 22 Jeep JK Wranglers from around the country and from as far as Canada, gathered in the state of Colorado to traverse almost 1,000 miles though the breathtaking Rocky's, explore famous historic mining towns and, take on some of the most challenging off-road trails that can be found anywhere. This is the Off Road Evolution JK Experience Rocky Mountain Run, presented by Falken Tire, and this is the story of the Jeepers who came looking for an adventure and found what it means to "KEEP IT TIGHT".

Day 2 of the JK-Experience Rocky Mountain Run would take us south toward the town of Buena Vista, Colorado, and to the trail that a majority in our group would run for the day, Chinaman Gulch. At the trailhead, the option of running the infamous Carnage Canyon BV trail was also given to those willing to risk substantial damage to their rigs and, of the 22 JK’s we had, 4 would choose to join EVO 1 in taking on the carnage including, Project-JK’s, Moby Dick! Episode 2 highlights our run up this short, “nasty ass” trail as Mel liked to call it, and then follows us as we made a mad dash east with the hopes of being able to climb to the top of Pikes Peak before they closed.
For one week during the month of September, 22 Jeep JK Wranglers from around the country and from as far as Canada, gathered in the state of Colorado to traverse almost 1,000 miles though the breathtaking Rocky's, explore famous historic mining towns and, take on some of the most challenging off-road trails that can be found anywhere. This is the Off Road Evolution JK Experience Rocky Mountain Run, presented by Falken Tire, and this is the story of the Jeepers who came looking for an adventure and found what it means to "KEEP IT TIGHT".

Mac 'n' Cheese is an animated short directed and created by four students at the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands. This roughly two minute animation took about five months to make, and about a bajillion peanut butter sandwiches.
Synopsis: When you find yourself running scared and running out of energy, there's only a few options left to outrun your opponent through the southern desert. Stopping at nothing, watch these two guys wear each other out and rip through boundaries hitherto unbroken. Enjoy the ride!
