FROG LEG JEANS For tweens who want to express themselves, the Frog-Leg Jeans are a new type of jean that let's you be the trendsetter. Unlike tearaways, zipper "cut-offs", patching, and bedazzle, our product lets you be the designer in your designer jeans without the muck of glue, iron-ons, and ghastly zippers and snaps. Customer segment: Tweens, age 9-12, may pay for it from their allowance, but parents are ultimately footing the bill. Value Proposition: Tweens want to express themselves through the choices they make. The frog-leg jeans lets them do exactly that using a medium that they've understood since birth; technology. Even the worst painter gets to become an artist. Parents want their tweens to develop into decisive, confident adults. With the frog-leg jeans, tweens are the designers making all the important decisions using a medium they have long-since mastered. Key Partners: Since the Frog-Leg jeans are a unique product, the designs will always be limited edition collector items. Our partners will therefore need to keep expanding. Our regular partners will be our denim suppliers, manufacturers, and graphic designers. Our limited partners will be with the celebrities who lend their name and perhaps ideas to their line. This includes Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Selina Gomez, Warner Brothers etc. Key Activities: We are offering customized jeans which are created by the user online. Along with an easy-to-use website and smart-device app, we will have in-person kiosks at major shopping centers where consumers can see what the final product will look like, build their first jean with the help of an experienced frog-legger and even purchase a pre-made design on the spot. Key Resources: To get this off the ground, we will need initial funding to pay our partners, build prototypes and pre-made designs, and build and staff the kiosks. Customer Relationships and Marketing: We reach our customers through a series of online adverts. We'll have the designers showcase their own wares in short YouTube spots. Justin Beiber, Pixar characters and the like can talk about how they created their frog leg jeans. Since we want our customers to buy a new pair in each collection, we want to build brand loyalty through quality and interaction. We may have an annual "be the designer" contest where customers can submit their own jean designs for a grand prize; an opportunity to meet with their inspiration(s). Channels: Ultimately, our product makes it into the customer's hands by mail. Sometimes, it can come directly from the kiosk. How they interact with us and how they create and order their product will always be online. Even if they are in-person at the kiosk; there will be iPads set-up for them to build their jeans and make their order. Revenue streams: Customers can either have one-time transactions where they build and order just one pair of pants, or they can become subscribers where, every six months, they will receive a new frog-leg jean customized to who they are from previous purchases. Cost structure: Initially, we will need funding to develop the web experience and build the partnerships, including manufacturing. Once that initial outlay is spent, ongoing costs will include manufacturing, web maintenance, administration, and design.
