Prof Diarmaid MacCulloch - Voices and silence in Tanakh and Christian New Testament (lecture 1)
The Gifford Lecture series 2012 - Silence in Christian History: the witness of Holmes' Dog Professor Diarmaid MacCulloch presents his introductory lecture in our 2012 Gifford lecture series. The lecture discussed a change in emphasis between the Hebrew Scripture (the Tanakh) and what Christians made of what is arguably a minority positive strand in Judaic thinking on silence; we survey the growth of a consciousness of silence, particularly in the cosmos, in Jewish religion. We seek the voice of Jesus to be heard behind the text of the New Testament, with his distinctive use of silence and silences; the place of silence in the first Christian attempts to understand the significance of Jesus Christ, and its relationship to the formation of the Church. Recorded Monday 23 April 2012 at St Cecilia's Hall, Edinburgh.

A Warning hidden in the Tanakh for Israel's leaders
The book of Ezra has hidden message for the leaders of Israel today - don't yoke up with the Vatican or Arab nations! Steven Ben-Denoon points out this crtical message just before the December meeting with the Vatican and their economic ties with Israel. Also the author points out the grave mistake that Jews make by thinking the Vatican is the source of Spiritual leadership. A must see video!

Holocaust / Rebirth/ Torah / Tanakh / New Testament 1 of 6
Pastor Sandy Armstrong of Soldiers For Christ: The complete redemptive plan of God is very clear when you bring The Torah / The Tanakh / The New Testament Bible together, they together are ONE complete book. There is an absolute link between Israel and Yeshua. The 1st Adam (in the garden) and the 2nd Adam (on the cross) Yeshua. Why Gomer? Why does the book of Isaiah have 66 chapters? Is God in full control of The Word? What is Ashkenazi Jew? Why is 1945 1948? So important? s4ctroops@aol.com

The Jewish TANAKH supports the KJB reading
The Jewish TANAKH ( translation of the OT made by Jews) translated the verse in Psalm 12 as did the KJB, using 'them' and 'guarding each' (not 'us) referring to God's promise to preserve His words. The KJB marginal note had 'Heb. him, every one of them' They knew the grammatical 'Nun Demonstrative' was present in the pronoun suffix, and translated the verse correctly.

Desert Island Texts -- The Chief Rabbi's seven favourite verses in all the Bible
On Sunday 4th March 2012, the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks delivered the opening keynote address at the London School of Jewish Studies' Tanakh Day. Interviewed by Dr Rafi Zarum, the Chief Rabbi discussed his seven favourite verses in Tanakh, the reasons for his choice and the wider lessons that can be drawn from them. And because it was Desert Island Texts, the session also featured some examples of some of the Chief Rabbi's favourite musical pieces.

Time - Our Creator's Calendar (110 min)
The consistent feedback we have received on this teaching is that it solves the debate. Perhaps it does. See for yourself. Test it yourself. If you have ever been frustrated and confused about the overwhelming conflicting information about calculating Yahweh’s calendar, then perhaps relief is now available. Discover what the TANAKH taught on this subject, and watch in amazement in witnessing how Yeshua perfectly agreed and taught us exactly the same.

WHY DO I NEED JESUS? - Even The Wicked Atone -
Atonement & Salvation in the Jewish Bible (part 1) sagavyah.tripod.com How are people forgiven of sins and saved, according to the Tanakh (the "Old Testament")? What is the purpose of animal sacrifices in the Bible? Does the Tanakh [the "Old Testament"] teach that only a sinless individual can provide atonement? Does the Tanakh support the view that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins? Unintentionally finding the surprising answers to these questions from within the Old Testament, with only a Christian education and background, with no Jewish influence, lead me to agree with the objectiveness of the traditional Jewish understanding of these issues. After further researched, I learned that I had two choices: Keep the Laws of Noah, or become an Israelite (convert to being a Jew). You can find several clips on the Laws of Noah which I've already uploaded to Youtube. [my conversion to Judaism] Product of Monroe / Bastrop, Louisiana [LOL]

The Secrets of Life and Happiness
No kidding. A tiny, very damaged fragment of the Dead Sea Scrolls was found. When it was restored it was found to say: The Festival of our Peace. The fruit became plump due to the Heavens and the produce of the Earth of living things, so we give thanks to your Name, forever. Blessed is the Lord who causes us to rejoice, for that is why You created us. I found the question in my mail that I mention! "Lindemann04109 has posted a comment on your profile: Why can't religious ever give me a honest, full, strict answer. Who put the Old Testament, Tanakh together? and why is there so many differences with in it? Jews have 39 books right? Christians have from, 39, 46, to 51 book in the OT, Tanakh, why? Why is this so? Someone here is not telling me the truth. How has the right to say that the OT, Tanakh has 39 books or 51 books? Only "God" right? So is this proof that the bible is the work or man and not God? I mean just look at this. 39 books to 51 books, What in the world went wrong here? Thanks"
