ISAF soldier steps on landmine - **WARNING GRAPHIC MEDICAL PROCEDURES**
**WARNING THIS VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC FIELD MEDICAL PROCEDURES** This is the full video of the ISAF soldier who is gravely injured when he steps on a landmine in Afghanistan. What is amazing are the US Army Soldiers who not only are also affected by the blast (one is knocked down and dazed) but they bounce right back up, and start giving this soldier first aid in the field that saves his life. Amazing medical care in the field is what this video portrays. Only 20 minutes after the incident the soldier is airlifted to a medical facility! The Soldeirs who rendered the aid are amazing and saved this ISAF members life. I can only Identify two of the three soldiers that give life saving aid to this Afghan soldier. SFC Metz with the 101st Airborne and I think Spc. (?) Harris (sorry if I got the rank wrong). I could not ID the soldeir who's helmet cam captured this whole thing. What a testiment to the training, equipment and especially the soldeirs themselves who care for this injured soldier. They are a credit to their units and to the US Army and military as a whole. SFC Metz was knocked down and dazed by the explosion, but gets right back up and renders the aid needed to keep this soldier alive! Great job to all involved. Due to the great armchair Generals and medics, I have disabled comments on this video because they were becoming insulting to the soldiers in the video.

ISAF Kunar Documentary
So this is a documentary that has been 13 months in the making. Every aspect of production was done entirely by soldiers from the Pennslyvania National Guard. We spent 9 months in the Kunar province of Afghanistan, a place much more hostile than I think any of us expected. We adjusted quickly. Well enjoy the video and please feel free to post comments, I'd love to hear what viewers have to say. By Dave Mazik Web site: www.dmazik.net THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING! ISAF tightens security due to Afghan 'insider attacks'
Security at ISAF military bases in Afghanistan is getting tighter as fears of attacks not from the outside, but from Afghan soldiers and policemen within their training facilities. Some of these Afghan recruits, who are being trained to implement the rule of law after international troops leave, are affiliated with the Taliban and carry out attacks against ISAF soldiers. Now international troops are implementing new regulations such as no longer sharing barracks with Afghan troops and having armed bodyguards with them when they visit Afghan soldiers. Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from Wardak.

Four Star Pizza ISAF Youth Worlds - Day Four Highlights
As the 2012 Four Star Pizza ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship moved into its second phase on Dublin Bay in Ireland, after a well-earned layday, the mounting pressure clearly had an effect today in several classes. With two races sailed in very different conditions, the possibility of a completely dry day was scuppered by a huge late afternoon cloudburst.

ISAF Bundeswehr Tribute (HD)
just a little tribut... www.facebook.com The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) is a NATO-led security mission in Afghanistan established by the United Nations Security Council on 20 December 2001 by Resolution 1386 as envisaged by the Bonn Agreement. It is engaged in the War in Afghanistan (2001--present). ISAF was initially charged with securing Kabul and surrounding areas from the Taliban, al Qaeda and factional warlords, so as to allow for the establishment of the Afghan Transitional Administration headed by Hamid Karzai. In October 2003, the UN Security Council authorized the expansion of the ISAF mission throughout Afghanistan, and ISAF subsequently expanded the mission in four main stages over the whole of the country. Since 2006, ISAF has been involved in more intensive combat operations in southern Afghanistan, a tendency which continued in 2007 and 2008. Attacks on ISAF in other parts of Afghanistan are also mounting. Troop contributors include from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Romania, Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic, Norway, Bulgaria, and many other members of the European Union as well as South Korea, Azerbaijan, Singapore and a few other non-NATO members. The intensity of the combat faced by contributing nations varies greatly, with the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Denmark sustaining substantial casualties in intensive combat operations. Imprisoned Paradise
The serene upland farm of Llyndy Isaf, on the shores of Llyn Dinas, is unique in Snowdonia, untouched by intensive farming and home to threatened wildlife of international importance. Sitting within the Nant Gwynant pass, offering 600 acres of extraordinary and peaceful haven for people to get close to nature – and enjoy quiet pursuits such as hiking, kayaking and sailing.
Upon the retirement of the current owner, the National Trust, with the generous support of the public, aims to acquire this land. If successful, protecting it from the commercial market, and the impending development that would follow. The tranquil atmosphere could easily be shattered.
This portrait of the area captures that tranquility.

Al Jazeera slams Isaf over arrests
Al Jazeera has called on the International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) to immediately release two of its cameramen arrested in Afghanistan over the last 72 hours. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Al Jazeera said the arrests were "an attempt by the Isaf leadership to suppress its comprehensive coverage of the Afghan war". The two Al Jazeera cameramen detained are Mohamed Nader and Rahmatullah Nekzad. According to Nader's wife, he was picked up from his home in southern Kandahar by Isaf troops on September 22. She said she was woken up when the troops raided their home during the night. The troops then proceeded to arrest her husband, removing him from his bedroom, she said. The troops also confiscated some of their valuables. Nekzad, the other cameraman working for Al Jazeera in a freelance capacity, was arrested two days earlier under similar circumstances in Ghazni province. Isaf though in statements described both as "Taliban facilitators". Al Jazeera response Al Jazeera, however. strongly rejected the claims and insisted the two were innocent. The arrests follow a recent pattern of escalation by Isaf and coalition forces to target Al Jazeera journalists in Afghanistan. Recently, Al Jazeera's Afghan bureau chief Samir Allawi was threatened and pressured to change the editorial line. Al Jazeera, however, said it will continue to maintain its coverage on the basis of fair and impartial journalism in line with its Code of Ethics and will not bias its coverage in ...
